Hi man, cheers for sharing those information, until now so far the best explicative video. I made my diy dual sun tracker structure for 6x300w panels ,i mounted those two linear actuator and im waiting for delivery my dual controller and for me will be the best video for seting up the controller. All the best
I just posted the video with the information you requested

Hello friend, congratulations on your project, I live in Brazil and I'm developing my own 100% automatic tracker and I know how difficult it is to make it stable on cloudy days, when there's a lot of cloud it goes crazy looking for the sun. At the end of the day after it gets dark, does his follower stay in a horizontal position or not? What position does he spend the night in? It would be really cool if you made a video showing on time-lapse his movement for a whole day with cloudy weather. If possible...hug. Success in your projects.
Thank you for your question, unfortunately, we sold our property and I took the panel down, so I cannot film it working anymore. However, to answer your question. The panel will move to whatever position you want to at night and that can be adjusted in settings, That are coming after T8 - sun low position, this position indicates how long it waits before it moves(2800 seconds), and the next setting indicates where it moves for the next morning, that would be all the way to the east, and tilting all the way down for the rising sun those adjustments are in T9 - T 12 settings. All the best with your project🙂 All the best with your project.
Thanks for the video! Mine works pretty well. BUT! i got one problem, if the panel moves back for the morning sun and at night the wind starts to blow it moves to horizontal. And then it stays in this position. The morning sun is not reaching the sun sensor, so i miss the morning sun till it goes high enough to reach it.
The next issue i found out after some days using is the wind lock time. If the wind blows on the end of the day and the sun goes down, it stays right at this position because of the T7 xxx's it goes into "lock" so it waits till the sun reaches the sensor. But there is no more sun till the morning and then it's in a wrong position and you miss the half day
This controller seems to have more settings than others from China. This unit has max output of 15amps to power actuators. Do you know if a separate higher amp power supply unit is available using signals from control unit going to relays in the higher power unit? I think one of the settings was it aimed West for a period of time, catching whatever sunlight there was, then went back to East waiting for sunrise. The other setting of interest was period of time it waited when clouds came over to try to relocate sun position. The wind speed indicator- the faster the wind, the faster it spins, the higher voltage it produces and sends to controller. That is why there should be a table where for example 2.5V = 40kmh, 2.6v= 45kmh etc
Hi, there is a label on the wind speed case that says: Output Voltage * 25 m/s, that means when it has 25 m/s, the output will be 1 Volt. And 25 m/s = 90 km/h. I set V2 to 0.31V, that means around 28,1 km/h it will go to wind protection mode.
I like your video on your solar tracker 😊 you know l have the same solar tracker controller and l can’t get sun sensor to work? Do you know what the seating on the controller are supposed set at and where to set them at. Thanks Dave
Hi Great video, can you please explain how to set up parking position of tracker. For Night or for High winds. My tracker gets stuck at Night completely in west position and than in morning it does not see sun, so it takes long time for panel to start to track sun.
So, in this case, you just need to follow all the instructions in the video, just set up your controller, the same way I did, and it supposed to work, if it doesn’t, then may be something wrong with the controller
Thank you for the explanations 👍!!! Do you make a video with the rest of the assemblies that you used on the system? What motors did you use? What profiles did you use in the frame? Thank you and I am waiting for more details about your project 👍🍻
Thank you for your comment, I made a video, but didn’t have time to edit, hopefully in the next month or so I’ll work on it and put it on the RUclips, thank you 🙂
Hi, I have the same system as you. However I go through the same steps, checked and everything moves fine. Now when I save my settings and leave it, the system doesnt appear to track the sun. It just doesn't move. Any ideas? Thanks 😊
New problem. Everything works fine, apart from my N/S actuator. Manually, it moves fine without issue. Automatically, when it tries to move it restarts the tracker. The E/W actuator move fine without an issue. Any ideas?
Hello Val, thanks for the video. Can I also use the controller for a single axis system? What parameters do I need? In my case I need East to West. Set the other parameters to zero? I would be happy to receive an answer. Also by email. Greetings from Germany-Martin😀
I have configured mine the same. Only problem i am having is in the east it moves up a few inches and 60 seconds later goes back down a few inches over and over. What is causing this to do that?
I solved the problem. Whenever you see only TX or YX not both then your sensor has lost one of its links aka wires which will cause the unit to bounce up and down trying to get its axis configured etc. I replaced the solar sensor and it fixed the problem. I also changed mine to 000 and 000 so it will instantaneous calibrate. Which I have 26v 8a solar with 10A MPPT charging a 20AH LifeP04 dual mini battery bank dedicated just for the controller and that is ample amount of juice to sustain a trickle charge and float the entire day without going passed 90%
Life saver! Best description available.
Thank you
Finally someone showed how this tracker controller works

Thank you for sharing this useful video! Greetings from Bosnia.
Thank you for sharing! Thanks to you, I was able to install a solar tracker!
thank you, glad to help🙂
looks like you have excellent videos, too bad I don't understand any Japanese
Great explanation
Thank you Val
Enjoyed your presentation…..where is your secret info on the center drive ? Details please?
Like the skirt to protect the drive…..
Just posted a new video with information that you might find informative about “east to west drive”
Thank you so much !!🙏🙏🙏
So cool! Very informative
Excellent video. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you very much. I need to configure it to find a horizontal position in high wind. How is that done? 🤔
It really depends on the time your actuator moves to the horizontal position I gave it three extra seconds
If you watch the video, it’s there
Hi, Can you provide complete circuit connections diagram or video for sun tracker, motors and controllers.
Ok
I will do it in the next little while

I’m sorry to hear that, I never experienced that before😕
Looking for the limit switch instructions
great installation, where did you buy your tracker?
On eBay, but it sold on Amazon and AliExpress
how to connect the anemometer because there are three inputs and two cables
Hi, do you know how to do a reset on the Solar tracker?

I’ve never done it, sorry but I don’t know

Super 👍😊👌

It Could simply be a defective, controller or sensor, sorry for the late reply
Ok thanks

Can I use this controller with dual axis slewing drive instead of actuator?
Of course you can, it’s even better

It’s really hard to say, maybe the truckers is defective, if you still have a chance try to Replace it

It could be that your tracker is defective, try to replace it

If you have a two axis controller, then set north south to zeros, or you can buy the controller design just for one axis, which is much cheaper to buy
Wish all the best with your project

sorry, aber mein deutsch ist 1000 mal schlechter als dein englisch 😬
60 seconds is still way too short for the "East / West wait time". 5 minutes is better. The Sun does not even move 1 degree in 60 seconds.
I agree
