So Jason is a camp counselor, and Micheal is a mechanic. So my headcanons for other characters are Freddy Kruger is a child psychologist or a dream therapist, Pennywise is a performer at kids birthday parties or he works for Make A Wish and literally makes children’s dreams come true, Leatherface and his family own a barbecue restaurant or a butcher shop, Jigsaw is an escape room host or a motivational speaker (because of everything he has been through) and his apprentices could be like home nurses, Pinhead owns a military museum (with some torture devices that were used in those times), the guys who were Ghostface either have their own RUclips channel where they’re pranksters or a show similar to Impractical Jokers, Sadako/Samara is a shy schoolgirl that has a collection of VHS tapes and she and Kayako (The Grudge) are best friends, Chucky (or rather Charles Lee Ray) is a toy maker or he’s a ventriloquist and Chucky is his puppet and he has a very happy life with Tiffany and Glen/Glinda, Candyman could either be a past civil rights movement leader or (because of all the bees) he could be a beekeeper and sell his honey (or make candy from said honey)
I think they should keep their backstories, but have one small change that leads to a big ripple effect, like for example freddy kruger, where he encountered a kid that he could never manage to scare, and slowly made it his goal to do just that, then over time he forms a friend ship woth the kid, maybe they have abusive parents and that why they aren't afraid of him or something like that, so them he at first thinks to kill them, but then thinks, "Hay, I live in the dream world, I can just go into a physiatrist's mind and learn phyciatry, and then becomes a literal dream physiatrist

This version of Michael is so fucking incredible honestly. He comes off as like… someone who’s maybe neurodivergent in some way, but at the same time it seems more like he and Jason just have the same quirk of happening to seem terrifying by accident. Though with Michael it seems like it could be more purposeful than Jason, who’s always accidentally scaring people
Why does Jason have amazing rizz, picking up Carrie, Officer Miles, making quick friends with Laurie, and being a hit with the people at the camp 🗿🗿🗿
He just has that charisma. With muscles like his, I would not be suprised.

It works because of how so many horror icons are actually sympathetic. Jason was only a killer because of his past and his mothers ghost speaking in his ear. If jason actually found some compassionate people both he and pamela would have cooled down
I like these versions of Jason, Carrie and Michael better.

I really like the idea of an alternate Jason using his terrible experiences to better himself instead of being a killer.
Seeing horror icons living as regular people with their actual powers is a nice concept that I never thought I'd see.

I absolutely LOVE how Mrs. Voorhees handled Ms. White. I read the original book of Carrie and Ms. White is a horrible mother. I'm not at all surprised that Mrs. Voorhees killed her.
Also, just wanted to point out, Jason didn't try to stop her at all. I think even he thought Ms. White deserved the wrath of his mom.

I like the little details they put in, Jason putting his hand over the chicken’s face to not see the body, Micheal’s thorn tattoo is scratched out, they really did something more than write a good little story

I still love how Mrs Voorhees defends Carrie. She's all for killing teens and gleeful when she thinks Jason killed a murderer (even if he didn't), but she's still a mother at the end of the day and knows that a parent is supposed to love their child, not project their resentment onto them.
Not forgetting that she was also a victim of domestic abuse. She basically saw herself in Carrie as well

@@himbonation In the Source material. I think Jason may be around the same age as Carrie in this canon. It would make the fact that he is a camp counselor seem a bit less far fetched.
A little bit of context about Jane Miles (the SWAT officer who appeared at 31:23). She wasn't created just for this comic and has actually existed as far back as 2014. Her origin is rooted in an original Friday The 13th storyline that runs parallel to the official franchise. This plot was crafted by Fairloke in her earlier days as an artist and she drew much inspiration from the experiences of orphaned or abused children. Kids who were neglected and desperately seeking attention from others.
I remember back then how people even suspected that this story might also reflect aspects of Fairloke's own personal life, since she would frequently vanish from social media as if something behind the scenes was stressing her out.
Jason Voorhees had a troubled childhood himself and fans of Fairloke's story, myself included, believed that this is why he didn't do harm to Jane in the story.
When she was much younger, Fairloke originally presented this storyline in fragments by making comics of her character and posting them online. But she explained to everybody during that time that she wanted to withhold many important story points so she can focus on improving her skill as an artist. This was in hopes that she would one day be able to one day fully realize her entire series and present it how it was meant to be.
For that reason her character Jane went through many revisions in terms of the artstyle, but the one thing that always remained the same was her character design. Jane Miles back then was always known as the little brown-haired girl with pigtails and was really distinguished from other OC's because she was an actual child. Most fan character protagonists who interacting with Jason that were created by the horror community in those days were usually presented as fan girls thirsting after Jason. I thought this got really old and bland because it always turned into some kind of weird sex story. So I found Fairloke's take to always be quite interesting because nobody was ever sexualized and situations always seemed to be grounded in more realistic circumstances.
Jane was always following Jason around wherever he went even when he killed people which added to this really dark contrast innocence and violence. What Jane was most known for though is carrying a little Teddy Bear around along with her wherever she went. She also talked to it a lot which expressed her loneliness.
It was a pretty interesting dynamic to see and the concept would eventually go on to inspire a lot of other artists on deviant art who borrowed from this idea and did the same thing with their own OC's. Over time brown-haired girls with pigtails and a Teddy Bear would become the new norm for girls around Jason and you can see it in most art today. A lot of people already know this, but Deviantart handles the situation with stolen art really badly and this was the case back then to. Because of this Fairloke got a lot of her art stolen on many occasions to the point where she was forced to remove most of her stories off of the internet. This is why if you check her gallery, a lot of her comics and animations are no longer there.
Most people would just steal her ideas without even asking her permission and then present them as their own. It's really disgusting and im wondering how she is gonna deal with stuff like that if she comes back. This comic gives me hope though. It seems to me that she got inspired by the positive and colorful theme of Camp Counselor Jason's AU and she wanted to make an interpretation of a Jane Miles that was actually a happy child who grew to become a happy adult compared to the original story which was much darker.
Anyway since those days, Fairloke has gone from being just a traditional artist to now a full on CG developer and game designer. She's also very good at being able to totally mimic other peoples art styles outside of her own original one. Given all of that I think she is more than capable of doing the full Jane story now.
Oh woah! That's awesome. Now I feel like a jerk for expecting more. Although, I am more surprised you know alot about all these artist. Impressive and scary. Woah.
I dislike how people are sometimes, stealing art. Which why I'm glad watermark is a thing, although it will never stop people, I just wish people were better but hearing and learning about this art style I had always wondered where it all came from and now I have. Learn something new every day.
So this is why Jane is so lovable. She was created from the soul and experiences of her creator. I really hope and pray Fairloke is ok. Nobody should be getting abused.
It's sweet that she was in Junkmixart's AU for a while. She uploads art on deviantart and twitter from what I've seen and I like her art style.
@@XxCat1995xX Oh you must be talking about Junkmixart's artstyle. The OP was referring to the fan comic with the female police officer created by Fairloke. She honored Junkmix by making a small contribution to their AU.
But yeah it sucks that Fairloke got her ideas and art stolen by other artists.
Aaah. Well this cleared most questions I had.
I liked that in this timeline Jason is happy, the kids at the camp love him and his mom is still around to protect him. The bromance with Jason and Michael was cool 😎 His mother’s reaction to seeing the guys who dunked Jason in the lake was fantastic, she’ll make sure they don’t hurt him again. Jason and the mother bear was adorable 😊
Also god DAMN Pamela looks good with muscles, talk about mommy
I love the idea of "Boogeymen" being a catch all term for this weird phenomenon of giant immortal murdermen.
I love whenever Mrs Voorhees fails at a kill and Jason saves a kid accidentally, she just says how amazing her son is.

@@leander2843 Yeah the only accident and unintentional death was caused by him opening a door super hard it hit that murderous brown haired short haired woman by being crushed by the door/wall behind the door and he didn't even know she was there either so it was technically unintentional unlike pamela trying to kill people intentionally knowing full well what she's doing sense she loves her son but she's overprotective of him

Chuky: it's like toy story he moves but not infront Andy, it's overprotective of Andy always saving him whit out noticing, cause he's a very naive and unaware kid.
Freddy: helps children to fight their fears on their dreams so they can overcome them in real life.
Leather face: he's an animal rights activist and a vegan who move from Texas cause his very conservative family alway bullied him for that.
The hills have eyes inbred family: they are a bunch of brothers who were left in the forest by their parents and decided to live of the nature they are like a mix of hippies and dwarfs.
Pinhead: it's a spirit that helps people to achieve redemption for their past mistakes usually putting people through moral and emotional challenges so they can take the correct path in life.
Xenomorph: a alien whit dog like behavior, it's cute and easily scared
Predator: part of a race of intergalactic park guardians who protect planets whit intelligent life, from space menaces like invading races of animals or plants to keep the native ecosystem intact.
The thing: something like ditto and globber cute and very friendly towards children and dogs.
T-800: it's a robot parent who was built by John Connor and sent back in the time to help and take care of himself also so it can teach young John how to create skynet, the A.I. which is helping humankind to have a brighter future.

Wrong turn hillicker brothers: they protect the animals in the forest from poachers and they also help nearby passing travellers who got lost on the road by guiding them right routes
They also help hikers and campers in the forest if needed, the people who got help by them have mentioned that the hillicker brothers are very friendly and nice people

I never expected a comic series that turned two of the most infamous slashers into wholesome characters but that just now made me feel great joy. Also, i feel like The Sawyers would’ve been perfect chefs and Freddy would’ve been a perfect groundskeeper.
