it kinda sucks so far it's just mostly been reused battle music but hopefully by part 2 and part 3 we'll get more original battle music

Tbh it doesn't have as much energy as most of the battle themes, probably why they used the TLA battle theme again.
Now I imagine how some of the N corp colleagues of Meursalt would have to drag him from the dance floor like he is Wolf from Payday

The Evil Defining was delayed just so the developers could think of a really funny joke(s), since the mention of Meursualt partying and don REALLY wanting ice cream.

Unfortunate that the build up as yet goes to an abrupt end since it seems unlikely the Middle will reappear in V part 3 and complete this track.
If you right-click and set it to loop, the build-up leads in pretty well imo -- the start of the track doubles as a drop.

Can you tell me how you extracted the background music separately...?
I extracted the files using AssetStudio, to put it simply.

It's rather complicated to extract the assets of Limbus compared to Lob. Corp and Ruina.
Download all of the assets from "\AppData\LocalLow\ProjectMoon\LimbusCompany\com.unity.addressables\catalog_S1.json".
Then load those files excluding shader assets using AssetStudo with the Unity version set to "2021.3.28f1"
For other assets, just load the Limbus Company Steam folder in AssetStudio.
And audio is located in "\AppData\LocalLow\ProjectMoon\LimbusCompany\Assets\Sound\FMODBuilds\Desktop".
If you need more help I would recommend joining the PMCH Discord server to ask.
