Thank-you Wisdom For Life, sincerely. I've entered my 70's now and I have more time to explore my previously squelched sense of wonder. Running a business, raising a family and being a responsible and busy member of society did not help expand my once endless thirst for understanding "what exactly is life". The last I recall I was 8 years old, lying face down in the grass and parting the blades to make passages for travel-bound ants. I always compared my life to theirs imagining there was little difference. A voice told me "You'll always have an awareness of life in the world, no matter what". It was a thought deeper than my ability to comprehend and yet I've never forgotten it. Fast forward 60 some years and I've just put my ear buds in, reclined in my comfy chair, turned on your video and I'm exploring through the grass once again. Thank-you deeply.

The more you learn about space, the more freaky and bizarre it becomes. There has to be a truly mind-boggling amount of other life forms out there, wondering also if they're alone too. Just the thought of that excites me so much, my imagination goes into overdrive just thinking about what they could possibly be like! Maybe due to the sheer size of the universe, other civilisations will never meet each other. All part of a bigger plan I think in all honesty. Too bad I'll never get a lot of answers in my lifetime but I'm excited for all the future generations that are going to be discovering so much. As the saying goes 'born too late to explore the planet, born too early to explore the universe.' Rather appropriate for all of us right here right now sadly. In terms of space exploration, we're pretty much at the equivalent of creating the wheel or discovering how to make fire- that's how early we are in our quest for answers.

"There has to be a truly mind-boggling amount of other life forms out there"
Pray we humans are the only intelligent life in the universe because if there's more intelligent lifeforms in the universe then the best case scenario for humans is where our expansion in the universe is limited and controlled by those more intelligent lifeforms out of self-preservation. There's many darker scenarios especially after those intelligent lifeforms recognize the long ongoing human history of lying, violence, cheating, stealing, warmongering and greed. Any intelligent life in the universe would easily classify humans as untrustworthy and dangerous or simply a monster type of species.

There's a reason why people who cling to Fermi's Paradox are so stupid: They don't Want to admit that there are other intelligent beings already here, upon this planet: Earth. Denial doesn't make you a respectable scientist. We don't need the approval of the Church of Science. We Know they are here, and orbiting Earth as you read this.

It's not a paradox. It's an unsolved problem. There are may reasons we may not detect life. 1. Life is rarer than we thought. 2. Intelligent life is rarer than we thought, 3. It's too far away. 4. They are avoiding us. 5. They use different technologies than us.

check video of gigapixel of andromeda , do you see any signs of life there ? - no you don't. Now put yourself from aliens perspective in Andromeda galaxy that would look at gigapixel of Milky Way, would they see life here on Earth ? - no, but it is there and thriving. I think that is the answer to fermi paradox, if we can't see the aliens(yet) that doesn't mean they are not there. Probing 0.000001% of planets and saying oh there's nobody there is unbelievably dumb, especially for scientists who are working on this subject and have very rough measurement of only few planets atmospheres, and saying ah we are alone because we are in simulation xD

It’s a fact that any life in the universe has to be life as we know it. Stars produce the building blocks of life, therefore alien life has to be like us, given the time elapsed since the beginning. Our minds just cannot comprehend the size of the universe. The distance is the factor in any contact.

    I sent this to SETI:
I realize that folks in the science community don't like suggestions but I feel like this one is super pertinent to SETI's plight. So please hear me out, it's short.
Sure communication through space is seemingly unobstructed when you think about objects near/within our solar system, but I'd argue the effects from orbiting bodies, scintillation, and the inverse square law will not allow signal acquisition from entities light years away. And thus Fermi's Paradox is flawed because it assumes specifically the acquisition of signals from distant orbiting bodies. Any where past light days, the signal is spread out through the cosmos instead of being tightly packed which all but ensures the data can never be decompiled/processed.
At first I thought the issue for the broadcasting entity could be remedied by utilizing a spacecraft and performing a Homan transfer to align your velocity vector with the target planet. But I fear that alone won't be enough to mitigate the sun's gravitational effects (on the signal), even with the Delta-V.
Instead I suggest that if you want to transmit a signal to a solar system light years away you need to have the spacecraft Homan transfer to the velocity vector of our sun targeted on a system in that direction. Then radiate our loudest/powerful signal. In addition I believe scintillation effects are too compounded if the transmitting entity is targeting a solar system that is edge on to us. So I believe you must target solar systems that are aligned with our celestial plane. Further, I believe that if you want to listen, you'd point your antennas to star systems in the neg in-track of the sun. And once again those systems should be aligned with our orbital plane.
Talking to Voyager is not easy and that signal and our ground systems that acquire it are dealing with very low signal strengths and super high signal to noise ratios. And that's just 5 ish hours of light speed away. Instead of asking why isn't anyone broadcasting, we should ask why can't we hear them? I think this is why.
I believe I've laid out a good angle for a revitalized concept of operations for you all. I hope you all pass this along to the proper folks. I believe it's imperative. Ty ty for all y'all's hard work! The work you all do is extremely important to humanity.

The things absolutely blew my mind from this video, that I can’t comprehend.
    1. He said if our solar system, which took a satellite travelling at 38,000 MPH 35 years to leave, was shrunk to the size of a coin, the next would be 300 yards. I mean, that’s so hard to get my head around. That is FAR! No wonder why we will never find life.
    2. That, using the same scale, there would be a coin every 300 yards the whole size of North America. I mean, wow!
    3. That we have something that can travel 38,000 miles an hour. What would that even look like. And it’ll still have 77,000 years to get to the neighbouring solar system.
As Neil de grass Tyson says it’s not for the universe to make sense for us.

you can ring a bell but not 'W'ring a bell. Its not a paradox, its given. We can only travel by a fraction of the speed of light, and given the size of our universe, we are living in a very very small bubble. And communication by radio or laser, signals spreads out into a sphere, and the signals disapears below the random noise background very quickly. They don,t propagate forever, they fizzle out and dissapear.
So, for all practical purposes, we are alone in the the universe, and so is all other species out there.

Simplest explanations - in cosmic terms, we only started sending radio signals a blink of an eye ago, so no-one's noticed us yet. Also, it's much more likely that any direct encounter will be with probes rather than the organic life forms themselves, since the laws of physics are universal and our probes have gone much further than our bodies have, so this will presumably also be the case for aliens. As for the universe being alive - it's possible, but as far as we know signals between discrete components are limited to the speed of light, so any thinking would be veeeeery sloooooow...

In my humble armchair expert opinion, "When are the aliens?" is the better question to ask. The universe has been around a really, really long time. Who knows, maybe eight billion years ago, before our planet even existed, there was a giant galactic empire. Maybe they'll come around here four billion years from now when mankind is a distant memory.

    1. On earth there are still so many undiscovered tribes and indigenous people living in random forests and islands that have never had any content or interference from modern civilization.
    2. Only 5% of Earths oceans have been explored meaning 95% of our oceans have NOT been explored.
    3. I wonder why we are so obsessed with space and aliens when there is SO much we STILL haven’t discovered yet on earth. In my opinion it’s far more likely that aliens dwell within our oceans OR in undiscovered locations on our planet, as opposed to hiding out in space somewhere. As the data and probability shows, it’s virtually impossible that there’s not other intelligent human life in space but whose to say they haven’t already arrived on earth and they don’t like the way Hollywood has portrayed them lol.

On the Dark Side of the Moon
There are 11 ships the size of Countries
They belong to the Gray Skins who have been here in Our Solar System a very long time
    Once they had a Planet
    A very beautiful Planet
All the beings on this Planet got along many of them had beautiful gardens with Flowers and Fruit
One night their Planet was hit by small meteorites they contained a plant life
At first they didn't notice the Plants until they grew rapidly
It was about the same size as one of their beings
Yet it had only branches no leaves a ooze dripped out and landed on the ground
They did notice that those little droplets took root and other trees began to form
One of the beings picked one droplets and chewed on it and then fell as if he had died
They determine the Trees were poisonous
So they started trying to dig them out but their roots reach deep down into the ground
They tried everything to destroy them and they routed out many but they kept on dropping the droplets
At night it glowed like an Opal
In a short time their entire Planet was covered in these Plant Trees
They started building Ships because they knew their Planet was doomed
The individual who appear to died was revived again
Their ships were finally completed everyone's boarded them and they took the Seeds with them and put one of the Seeds in every ship
They have one of these trees growing in an octagon box and octagon room guarded to retard its growth
It is now their Food Source
It was found that droplets gave life of longevity and healing
As the Ship's lifted off the Planet they view their Planet from behind
It appeared to be a Giant Opal
    Until their Planet exploded
    Sending Meteorites in all directions
They journeyed long to find themselves in our Milky Way Galaxy
Since they were unable to reach the Core and pull out its Life Source
    They ran out of fuel
They are stuck here like all the rest of us in this Milky Way Galaxy
    Which is a Black Hole
Elon Musk think he's going to Colonize Mars
    They've laid claim to Mars
They're waiting for it to Terraform which they performed with their technology to make it livable you're also resetting the magnetic currents
    They will go to War

Wow! This is by far the best set of thoughts and ideas about the topic I’ve ever watched. I’ve also been thinking about the physical limitations and our extremely limited understanding of life and physics to have any contact with other civilizations. It’s also very likely that there has been multiple rises and falls of civilization on earth, we are humans and most likely to destroy ourselves before progressing enough to even understand the inter workings of the universe. It’s also amazing how micro and macro worlds are similar, our universe might just be a cell of an organism and we are juts microbes that think they are intelligent, not knowing what true intelligence is.. We are made out of elements as old as the universe and are truly eternal in a sense. I just hope that our consciousness/soul is also preserved after our physical death, and continue its existence in a different dimension. Thank you for the hard work you put into this great video! Your videos are true masterpieces 👍🏻

Thanks! and thanks for the lengthy comment. To me, we need to grow our limited understanding of what life is and what intelligence is. I think the whole galaxy and universe has some type of intelligence that we just can't understand from our tiny perspective...
As far as the soul/consciousness.. I believe our conscious awareness carries on after death. As you said, we are eternal. Thanks for your comment. Also, I clipped the other video you commented on.. might take awhile to process, but you're right - that should be removed.

You perfectly worded what I've always thought. Thinking about what would everything look like if you kept zooming out evokes such a unique feeling that nothing else can bring out. Are we just a cancer cell to some organism? Does our consciousness continue in another form of energy? Is time infinite if you move faster than light? It's all so fascinating. I wish even if it was just visually, that we could see anywhere in the universe. It would be so amazing if you could get close ups of what any planet would really look like if you were standing there.

      Matthew 13:30
