- In Chiang Mai, Thailand and we decided to rent motorbikes and take on the daunting task of riding Route 1095 to Pai. It was by far the most amazing thing we've done yet and I can't recommend it enough. IF YOU'RE IN THAILAND YOU MUST DO THIS.

I did this ride myself, didn’t document it at all. Figured someone else probably already had better than I could, so I decided to focus on the moment. So, thank you so much for sharing.
Did you get stopped by police at any time?
That's a good decision. Living the moment
@@sjwilkin we didn’t on the ride out to Pai, thankfully. But I did receive a ticket in Chiang Mai the day before for driving without an international license 😂
@@stephanielawson4190 Chiangmai was the only place I didn’t try to ride a scooter as I knew I didn’t have the IDL. Heard some horror stories about how the police are there!
dude this is fucking amazing !! I'm always excited for you videos !!
+A3I7 ❤️❤️🙏 much appreciated brother!
OMG!!!😮 I though Chris was falling off of that bike on the last part of that video! 😬 But hey the video is really nice, good transition, video quality, sound and I finally see Chris and Christian engaging a bit more on the video! Keep it up and I am looking forward to the next video. Be safe out there guys!
+Errol Nepogie LOL I was so scared for Chris, I thought he was going down but he pulled through 😂😂
Just found your channel - I love your vibe and style. New sub right here! I took this ride from Chiang Mai to Pai in a bus... but I took a motorbike ride from Pai to Mae Hong Son which was very similar. The most beautiful ride of my life!
Thanks very much Steve! Yeah Pai was wonderful
Wow, we were thinking of taking a bus, but taking a motorcycle looks like fun!
Yes I highly recommend!
Yeah it is fun, i have done it, but it is also dangerous, so don't do it if it is your first time on a bike
Your videos are high quality af. I'm hooked.
I really appreciate that
I'm here now and in late February and it's like being in paradise! The food the people ( lots of travelers putting on cool partys up in the mountains ) it's proper friendly with no seedy nastiness. I want to live here.
Its beautiful!!
Loved it, so jealous you did the ride! When we were on the minibus on the way there we were saying we should have done it on bikes... glad to have done it vicariously through your vlog though!
Laurence Britton haha how sick did you get on the minibus? I cannot imagine sitting through all of those turns in a cube like that
It was terrible, especially after a few drinks the previous night and practically no sleep! Pai was beautiful though, and riding the scooters around the area was pretty insane
Yeah I have yet to speak to someone who disliked pai. It's such a cool place
looks like an amazing ride! great video man! keep them coming !
Thanks homie :) Will do
you prolly dont care but if you're stoned like me atm you can watch all of the latest movies and series on instaflixxer. Have been watching with my girlfriend during the lockdown xD
@Bjorn Hudson Yea, been using instaflixxer for months myself :)
You guys should stay in Pai for a few days if you have time. It's a fun place and a lot of interesting people. I went there last year but just stayed for 2 days. Planning to go there again this year and stay a bit longer. And if you are planning to travel in China, come to Dali (Where I live currently ) in Yunnan province, it's a wonderful place. Anyway, cheers mate, have a good journey!
+Tina He yeah it was super cool but we only had the one day. Our bikes were only rented for so long, so we mainly did it for the ride. Super chill town though, I can imagine it being a lot of fun. Definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the north of Thailand. We aren't planning China on this trip I don't think but it's DEFINITELY on my list of places to check out. Thanks for the comment and kind words Tina!
the baskets make the bikes what they are!!!!!
+Legitakid haha absolutely love em'
My friend, that was the funniest video so far - you made me laugh at so many scenes :-D I'm sure you guys had a funny time too!? :) The bikes are great - I love this 'shopping baskets' - they are really 'gangsta style' ;-)) It's nice to see Kristian and Chris slowly get used to the camera ... (ok, I think that's enough of my bad English for today - hope you'll understand what I mean ^^)
+Jo Kuehn bahahha I'm glad!! We had an absolutely amazing time, and the baskets just made the whole experience that much better :)
dude, call them bum guns! I did the 1095 on a manly scooter during monsoon season, had 2ft of visibility (did that journey a few times over lmao)
Keep vlogging!!!!!
+Johan Lopez I don't plan on stopping anytime soon :)
💜
Hi Noahvde. I'm a new subscriber from the Philippines. Awesome awesome travel videos! Getting inspired to go backpacking someday. Just wondering, do you use gopro when you're using both your hands? Or do you mount your sony rx on your head or something?? Hahaha
+Jessyca Justo awesome!! Haha GoPro all the way 😂
What kind of camera did you use? Nice quality. 👍❤️
Had a bike like what what you had from 16 to around 20 years old. Did some crazy things with it during those time... I'm now happy with my faithful car.
When are you guys going to hit the beaches? You're most probably not going to leave after you hit the beach!
aodat2 haha the bikes are so fun. Yeah we are headed to the coast of Vietnam in a couple days. I can't wait
BTW if you're heading out of Thailand and going to any other countries up there... just be sure to change just enough. Money in Cambodia (Riel) is worth almost as good as paper, same goes for Kip in Laos. It's not really worth much value. Vietnamese Dong is worth more but try not to have too much of it leftover. Try finishing them all if possible.
Yeah we are in Laos using Kip right now and it's so difficult. 6,000kips to one CAD. Math is fun. Yeah leaving Thailand I did really well. Ended up only having a couple coins left over :)
Hey Guys! Thanks for sharing the video, amazing! I'm planning to do a trip with motorcycle in Thailand to, do you have any recommendation where can I find somebody who wants to join? Thanks and keep going!
I can falow i come to by me a Honda africa Twin 1000cc in oktober
How do you do the bags and bikes rent situation? We’re doing this tomorrow but want the best deal
Did Chris rent that motard/ where from?
Hi what motorbike you rent? What cc
Really like your videos!
Just got a question, do you guys have a driving license for the bikes? Planning on going to southeast Asia next year and would like to ride too. But I only got a license for a "moped" aka 50cc. Getting a license for bigger bikes cost about $2k here.
Thanks so much! Not we don't, definitely not needed. As long as you have money you can rent the bike and IF a cop ever pulls you over which would be super rare, doesn't happen often in thailand. You argue that your standard drivers license is international And if that doesn't work you just pay them off. I do highly recommend that you are comfortable riding a bike though because the actual danger is hurting yourself OR dropping the bike. Can't talk your way out of a broken bike
Noahvde thanks for the reply! I am binge watching your videos right now and I love them. But after watching some I got another question, your laptop. Where do you keep it? Is it in your daypack at all time or do you leave it at the place you were staying?
In the cities there are many police controls, atleast in Chiang Mai, I got pulled over 2 times in 5 minutes. They want the money from the tourists, I wouldn't be surprised if they had even more controls in the south. I paid more to get my "International Driving license" translation than I would have payed in fines. There is a video of my trip on my channel if there is any interest.
Does your mate ever get off his phone?
"bikes need to rest" lol
Any recommendation for where rent bikes in chaing mai ??
It costs from 100 to 600 a day and do not stay in Chiang mai as they will steal the motorcycle
👍🏻
+Shadow 🙏🙏
Always bring activated charcoal to Thailand ;) Have fun!
Christian D. I was so confused as to what activated charcoal was until I googled it 😂😂 I get it now
Noahvde sorry, I did not know the exact name, so looked it up in wikipedia 😂
That's what I did to figure out what you were talking about bababa
i like the way to Pai , do it with Big Bike (-:
Wifi must be good over there?
+JoeVlogs yeah surprisingly, haven't had a problem uploading yet!! *knock on wood
It is.
Most hotels have good WiFi.
Awesome video... you're sound track please? Loved the song's.
seems like u lose a few wt Noah
You eat burgers in thailand?! Wtf
This was like the first couple days we were here. I cannot tell you how many curries/pad thais I consumed while I was away 😂 My diet consisted of vendor padthai
Pas intéressant pour quelqu'un qui n'utilise pas de moto...
First ;)
+JoeVlogs 😀😁
It's not fair when I'm at work at 'upload time' ;-)))
