Linda , I love your video’s . I have been watching you for about four years or more , keep the recipes coming . If you take you Ball book to to Staples , they can do a coil binding .
I know thank you so much I don’t have one of those close to me otherwise I would’ve already done that I’m definitely going to salvage the book I love it
Thank you for the Forjars code... My order is on the way... Yeahhh. I've never canned Bloody Mary mix but looking at yours I might just try... yummmmm.
This sounds wonderful!! And I know I will be making the recipe for sure! I’ve been using the ForJars lids and am not overly impressed with them. I was at first but have had far more “no seals” with the ForJars than will Ball lids. The jury is still out for whether or not I will continue to use them.
You have a beautiful home. Have you tried covering the island counter with a plastic table cloth when you are canning? It would protect it from stains and scratches
OMG, I don't drink but my salsa turned into BMary , I was gonna throw it out but instead decided to use for speg. Sauce. Just another day on the farm with unexpected happenings. Tastes great tho.
Hello Linda....I just love your videos. I am curious if these can go in a pressure canner for processing instead of a water bath? I am looking at the USDA website for cannning and though they don't have bloody mary mix then do have tomato juice with other veggies listed and state water canning for 40 minutes in qrt or at 11psi for pressure canning for 25 minutes. Due to where we live and the power outages we are having due to the terrible heatwave we are experiencing I'd rather pressure can for less time heating my house. Do you know if this Ball bloody mary mix can be processed using those USDA guidelines? Can't wait to make this, just harvest all our tomatoes and getting ready to do this recipe this weekend.
New to your channel and have a couple questions on this recipe? Can I use bottled tomato juice, I don’t have a garden and the second question is, can this be pressure canned?
Linda, the Atlas pasta jars are not made for canning, it is a marketing ploy to make them look authentic. Storage and ref. pickles are okay, canning a big no-no, they have a coating on them to keep them scratch proof. I know my neighbor and I called them several years ago because she did not believe me either, you can always call them yourself.
Sure do! The whole rest of the garden at harvest end. Herbs and all- FANTASTIC! 5+ varieties toms. Just chopped up herbs and put in a cheese cloth bag, tossed in and flavors blended smoothly 😋 ( can save to grind and put back into or toss, your option.) DID tons of tomatoe juice and my batch, which no one liked, was gone first! Go figure 🤔
You're a hoot! That ball crack, I have never loved you more!! Great recipe as well!! 👩🌾🍅🏡
I have never made this, but it sounds really good, oh I like the idea of adding it to cabbage soup, or chicken. Excellent recipe
This is an awesome gift for those Bloody Mary drinker friends you have. I have a sister in mind this is perfect for!
I have tomatoes waiting for this recipe. It looks wonderful.
Excited to try this.
I made this a few months ago! So good in a Mexican beer!
That looks so good, thanks!

I believe they're made in china! I'm boycotting anything from there if at all possible.
It would be great for seafood soup base.

I just put down a big beach towel.
Use only for canning, stains don't matter.

I will be making this for sure... By the way, you're kettle on the stove is adorable..😘😍😁 where can I buy one????
Linda, I hope you can tell me if a Mirro pressure cooker with a canning system, is a good option for pressure canning.
I found someone using one on youtube so I will follow her. I am getting one without any book on it.

Hi. I know this isn’t new but I’m having a problem finding a safe approved recipe for Bloody Mary mix. Is this an approved tested recipe? Thanks!
Damn she is beautiful!
How much lime juice?
