Congratulations!!! Best wheels ever!! Really sets apart any vehicle from the rest!!
Wow dude! These wheels are typically $800 a pop. At nearly 3 grand they are a major expense! Also, kudos to your minivan coming to the rescue of the mighty cruiser by carrying the wheels!
The minivan is always in the background, making things happen!!
"However!" I like watching this guy...he's the guy that everyone has a friend similar to. Lol
Yo I’m that guy
Seems like a kind and honest person.
That JDM life for the Land Cruiser
JDMMMMMMM!!!
Awesome score man! They look amazing, watch out for those rocks!
Mmmm... those Work (edit) XD9's are pretty sweet too! 😁
They’re used so I can yolo!! Wow you know your wheels 👍
@@chowcaresI wanted a set for my EP3 for the longest time back in the day. Love the multi-spoke look with that lip 👍
Man I want those for my Crv. They are so light, and strong.those te37s look good on the 100 though. Great investment.
That looks awesome! It is so hard to find nice wheels for the 100series.
Very true!
Nice! I swapped my originals for a set of late model 20" OEM Tundra wheels. It opened up a huge world of available tires. Only 33" tires at the moment since I don't have a lift yet. Are you going to add mud flaps or flares?
I wanted to do the jaos mud flaps to complete the jdm look but they’re hard to find and also $$$
@@chowcares I'll check them out. Once i removed the running boards I started getting a lot of splash and nicks in the paint down low.
Love your videos! However not a fan of these wheels. If you like them that is great!
Great video!
I’m having a hard time finding a set! 🤦🏻♂️
Yea since they’ve been discontinued, the 5x150 is really hard to find
Good afternoon dear friend, with respect to you and your work, I have a question which parts need to be replaced. And what should I add to raise the Land Cruiser 100 to a height of 37 inches with wheels? Thank you for the advice, sincerely Eugene.
0 offset… I knew then they weren’t going to fit well! Sorry bro!
“Where’s my hammer” - me
They look great though!
$3,000 for that? You must do something with the hubs but a steel wheel would give you nearly the same performance for a fraction of the cost even after powder coating for the same color. Waste of $$.
It cost to floss
All the guys that hate on Volks are the same guys that probably would have ran Konigs on a jdm import car lol. They just would never understand. Lol
@@mikkiregalado TE37s on everything!!
Robert, you clearly do not know the benefits of a lighter/stronger forged wheel. In short, better mpg’s, acceleration, braking and handling. Also ain’t no steel wheel out there that looks as good!
@@Jooknow I'm thinking more strength for off road abuse. He's sticking with 16" so he can air down on the trails, the LC isn't a sports car.
Those wheels look great and those tires look great too. Nice rig!
Ty!
Looks great! Interested if you’re selling your spacers that you had installed!
Already sold!
you have great explanations man. it helps us newbies to wrenching feel more hopeful and not so lost. wish we had a riding club around here. Thanks man
Looks good!
Looks amazing! Where were u able to find a used pair? Been looking for a set for my 100. Congrats!
Icb motorsports have a couple left brand new
So sick!
Zero offset is the way to go on 100's and 200's IMO! Those are easy fixes, smash the pinch weld back, slap a little paint on it and that problem is fixed. On the drivers side you are proly hitting the washer fluid rez, need to relocate that! I run zero offset on my LX470 with 35x12.50 Treps and it works great, just got back from my second Rubicon run a couple months back! Sub'd and liked!
TEs are nice! I thought you would go the frugal route though tbh!
I thought so too, but there just aren’t enough wheel options for us!!!
Hi Chow. Two questions. I don’t recall you commenting on how your long term tire wear is going running those 315/75R16’s on the 16X8 rims. And did you feel the power loss from the larger tire/excess weight made you want to regear your differentials? I’m getting ready to order some 315/75R16’s MT’s but was having seconds thoughts due the above concerns. Love your vids bro. I just installed my 2" lift, UCA's, and Power Steering rack, etc. ready for the new shoes!
Are you going to sell the old set? I’m interested
Yup, dm me on ig
There's good reasons in Australia you can not legally put silly tires on trucks like this. It's sad when people do these types mods. I guess it's better than the low profile, big wheel w/mud tire combo? Maybe? Did you ever mention what tire size you used, and had before, and lift you have? It at least let's others know what not to do.
Probably just just go with some methods 17 inch, but that would require you to buy new tires so all in all it still looks nice. I am thinking 17 inch with a -12 offset but there isn’t to many companies making them.
$3k !!?? I will go a cheaper route. For some reason the lug nuts look real fragile too.
Nice looking wheels on your LC! Perfect match!
Dayam Chow!
Let’s go mall crawling
@@chowcares always down to flex on parking blocks
I have really enjoyed your videos. They have really helped me out. The wheels look great! Fuel offroad also makes a 5x150 with either +20 or a +1 offset. I have just completed a similar upgrade.
