Good video. I built a niche site, within the first month I ranked 1st from my exact match domain, low vol search but I ranked above high DR sites with pages with similar KW in page title. I went on to build 500 pages on the site over 6 months, made very little difference the rest of the pages don’t rank. Lesson learned is at least for my skill level and experience, much better use of time to build more EMD sites, with a focus on only one key phrase(and a key phrase that is not too crazy competitive). There are no other ways to get short term SEO success. While people on Reddit will say EMD’s are no longer weighted by google blah blah blah, simply not true. Maybe not as much as it used to, but still weighted.
Reddit might be last place to look for proper SEO information. Webmasterworld forum and our communities would be better options. Thank you for your kind words and contributions.
Is being banned on google ads a ranking factor? When you create a webmaster tools in google is it better to combine websites in one account or shall I create for every account it’s webmaster tool, especially if google ads banned my ads?
If I understand correctly, you need a Core Update and positive historical data to change a negative ranking state. But does is it more difficult to get historical data when the site is loosing traffic? Or I understand wrong? Because if you create more documents or change old one, but you are on a negative state, they are not going to get a lot of attention from Google. Or the Core Update is to change the ranking state and then the site can start to get historical data?. Is there any patent to read about that. I read and re-read a lot of your case studies, but I can not get it.
If I have a KW(singular) that I want to make as a brand should I be targeting plural KW with a separate page? What about the other KWs that usually bring the search to the main KW page, still should target them with main page? If I want to make the main KW as a direct match brand is there anything I need to do differently on the first page? Thanks!
What about these new niche TLD domains like global, digital, marketing...use them as a variation of an emd domain do they get good rankings and traffic?
