Paul has made covers of some Rush teams "Fly by Night" and "YYZ" come to mind and he did a version of "what you were doing" also .
This is without a doubt the coolest thing I've ever seen. When that version of the Fireman is made available to the public, I'm selling my car to get one. OMG. \m/

Really great. Very "Rush" like in many ways.
I think this is the first appearance of the Fireman.
No one does the 'power trio' thing better than Gilbert and friends imo. Would love to see these guys go into the studio and just record some live sessions. I'd buy every CD they put out!
@chopperdeath : If memmory serves correct, Paul created this as a commeration to Alex Lifeson/Rush. Rush = Hurry Up.
Would love to know if thats true (not saying it isn't ) just nowadays you never can be sure what is true and what is not but I am a huge pole Gilbert fan and Rush is my favorite band rest in peace Neil. But anyway if this is true is a very cool story inputs a new level to an already favorite Paul Gilbert song
