You also don't want to exceed the output of your alternator. You should be able to look on the side of it and see what it is rated for. If you was to use it, you could shed some of the vehicle's load (e.g. HVAC, lights, amplifier and sub)
Those buddy heaters suck in small spaces. I used mine once in my truck camper…never again. When off grid I now use an electric blanket and a cold weather sleeping bag to keep warm at night. I’ll also run a small electric space heater when getting up in the AM to help take the edge off. I rarely camp off grid anymore though. I stick to campsites with electric so I can keep the electric heater on all night.
you do have to take under consideration about the colder temperatures, otherwise you will degrade it, its best that you take that ecoflow river 2 pro or whichever, and store it into a warmer climate, cause canada does have winter seasons, keeping it in the car like that will degrade the battery, just want to let you know about that. some batteries does have temperature control. LFP is the most safest battery out there too. i have a ecoflow river 2 pro, and thats only 768 wh, and yes, i am most likely going to be purchasing this or something else. great video as always! thanks for this..
If you’re asking if you can just use the pannel as an annunciator (I.e the main lobby of a building) then yes you are allowed to have the pannel out in the open instead of an annunciation pannel
I would have expected the cigarette lighter to be at least 10amps since that’s the minimum in most cars and some have 15amps available. My car does 13.8-14v(Prius with DC-DC so it’s always at the voltage) but 10 amps would be 140 watt for me. I think it’s pathetic they only did 8, it should be 15amp capable with 8 as the default setting on the unit.
@VladK7807 he told you, it was a joke. He only did it for content and wasn't serious about actually having a fire alarm panel in the car, it was just for the video
Hey Nic (and everyone else for that matter) are you ready for New year's sound off? I wonder how many bells you will have for us on that day.
2025 is tomorrow
i think for the new years alarm sounding you should put the horns on continous so that they mix in with the bells

That's why I didn't want to use the 800 W one.

How much is a second cable? 16amps at 13.5v is 216watts still half of what you are doing but how much is it in comparison to what you have?
are you not worried about someone stealing the ecoflow power station from your car?
No it is what it is if I was that worried I can take it out
Hey nic question can you have a panel as a annuator while having a main panel?

Hi nic
Did you remove the fire alarm from your car and why?
It was a joke
@nics-systems-electric What do you mean joke?
@VladK7807 a joke is something that is meant to be humourous and something that isn't often isn't true or real.
I mean about the fire alarm in your car. I need an answer. Did you take down your fire alarm or was it some kind of demo.
