Guernsey FC Facts! The club chairman is currently Mark Le Tissier. Does Le Tissier sound familiar? You may have heard of his brother, the honorary club president, Matt Le Tissier, former Southampton player and football pundit. Matt Le Tissier played a single game for Guernsey FC back in 2013. Both Le Tissiers were born in Guernsey, hence the connection. Of all the current and former Guernsey FC players, one other name stands out. A young 19 year old by the name of Alex Scott who is currently playing for Bristol City in the championship and also for England U19s. Alex Scott scored in the semi-final of the Euro Under 19s against Italy, scoring the equaliser in the 58th minute, before a certain Park to Prem legend Jarrel Quansah scored the late winner. Apparently, Ten Haag and Man Utd showed interest in Scott over the Summer. He is, within FM23, a good wonderkid. Maybe, depending on how many seasons it takes to move up the divisions, it may be nice to bring him back to Guernsey as he reaches the end of his career?
I'm starting this series fresh after ignoring it for months, and I gotta say, I'm loving these guernsey facts brothers. I never knew this was the most storied and legendary club of all time lol. But it all seriousness, these really add great flavor to Jack's vids
@@lucasskinner3805 it was a hell of a long time ago but I remember no one could touch him when he played, by far the best player of my school at the time!
Knowing this is a one club save, and that that club is on a literal island, makes these early days all the more exciting! Always love Park to Prem, plan to buy some merch soon, and am very excited to see how this team grows!
I love that your chairperson is called Mark Le Tissier - the only two Guernseyans I've heard of are Matt Le Tissier and Maya Le Tissier (CB for Man Utd Women). Matt and Maya aren't related - I can't tell if Mark is related to either of them, but I'm starting to think everyone in Guernsey is called Le Tissier and has a first name starting with Ma. This isn't a very insightful comment, but it's all fuel for the algorithm innit
I came across your Park to Prem FM23 series just this morning and I'm already hooked! I simply love your fluency of describing matters and your passion for the game! Will be looking forward on taking this journey with Guernsey and seeing how far you can take them! Cheers from Israel :)
Great content Jack ! I started a journeyman save in Belgium 3rd division at Ninove and it's so much fun, I was hired when they were in 15th place and now 28 matches in I'm 1st in the league.
If you don't have a P.O Box then you're missing a trick with all these demands of answers on postcards. Another top quality episode, Jack. Keep up the amazing work and I can't wait for tomorrow. 💪
Has anyone else felt like there has been an improvement to match engine AI this year? Especially when it comes to adjusting to tactics and what have you.
i cant remember the video but i remember seeing a video on FM 1000 years in the future and Leatherhead were one of the most successful clubs in England. Maybe this is the start of the Leatherhead Ascent haha
Love it, you signed a Phipps. Non league i always sign Eli Phipps just because we share a surname and it's a rare surname haha. Plus you pronounce it correctly!! Also seeing Callum Rose is funny seeing he has played for both my teams Plymouth Argyle and Plymouth Parkway haha. Good Video man, keep up the solid work!
Thanks for the advice on lower league saves, they seem really fun but can also be really daunting if ydk what ur doing. Just little tips on scouting and stuff makes it way easier to understand and know what to do cheers m8!
As a Guernsey fan - selling Ross Allen is a disgrace! He was the top scorer in the entirety of the English football season in 2013-14, 54 goals! A club legend
He might be beyond your reach but as you progress keep an eye on Bristol City's Joe Low. Not seen him in game but watched him IRL when he was on loan at Yate Town. He is a very promising young ball-playing CB who hasn't had a fair crack at a decent level. Lad is a BALLER.
welsh regens are insane, i'm currently doing a save with buckley in wales and after one season my team is basically only 16 year old regens all found in the season preview media dream 11
The Small Island simulation/roleplaying is a fantastic touch and already makes this P2P stand out from last year, which was my first. Great decision, flavor is key :) (I would also love the odd check-in on Three Bridges and of course any other P2P teams as you travel upwards!
Cambrian and Clydach are my local team! You nailed the Cambrian, but the Clydach not so much! Good effort though Jack! It's more along the lines of Clidarch
i like your gameplay, iam using it for improving my english +its interesting to watch an english lower league gameplay, good work and greetings from saxonia germany
I’d like to imagine that Patrick makes the commute to uni in Scotland from Guernsey every day. He literally could not have gone to a club in the country that were further away from Scotland!
I really love the stupid things of checking out Guernsey and ending up in a conservatory. I hope editing Jack will also make re-appearance this season with some sketches. Anyways, great start to this journey
Gotta love these unnegotiable promises that are totally reasonable at this level. And even if you can remove them, the Ai does not and the player will just sign for them, until you read a news article a few months later that the player lost his trust to the coach for breaking a promise :]
Playing the console version of the game...now I'm hooked and need a new PC to play the full version. Wondering how I stay above water? Sold a player for 2 million and have many young players in the pipeline for wrexham.. playing currently in league one in my 6th season as manager
It's not save game specific and as I stream FM and play multiple saves I hate changing the facepack constantly depending on which save game I'm playing.
Guernsey was never in the EU so brexit wouldn’t have mattered. Guernsey fc only use players that live there, other than bringing loan players in they don’t recruit from outside the island
Determination, professionalism and ambition are all equally responsible for development, at this level not having them isn't the end of the world either. With only aprt time training and poor facilities players don't tend to improve much anyway, I've signed him for how good he is now rather than what he might/might not be.

Absolutely love these facts! Matt Le Tissier is a bona fide PL Legend.
Great info, and Alex would be a really cool signing in the future.
I had that name in my head for some reason. You know that "I know this person/I've seen this guy somewhere" feeling?
Also did MLT finanicially help the club into existance? If I remember correctly.

Absolute scenes when Jack's web of lies comes undone and the players revolt over the training facilities 🤣
Thomas Thomas so good they named him twice 🤣🤣
That promise to upgrade training facilities is destined to be the curse of FM23 llamas everywhere. I've been blackmailed into it myself.
Loved the conservatory, beautiful flowers
Thanks for uploading this good video
Next match is Walton and Hersham, our local club, which is literally just 3 minutes down the road!

South Park is one of those teams that needs a specific player name in every iteration. They need a Kenny
