I don't know if it is for the video...but canon wise while deku was giving his quirk, the process didn't complete because bakugou fainted in the fight during the process of deku giving his quirk. So, canon wise he did not lose his quirk. But if it is for the video I think it will be a good plot! Great reactions though therefore the video is great!
