The song was written by Demi Lovato and I have seen Demi's performance of her own song on YT which is great, but as is so often the case, Emma takes things to a new level. I traveled from the UK to Geleen in The Netherlands yesterday to attend a concert where Emma was performing. A relatively small venue like the one in your reaction video and not with Andre Rieu but with a few members of his orchestra with other super musicians. It took 7 hours to get there yesterday and 7 hours to get home again today - taxis, busses, planes, trains.... It was worth every bit of effort. Watching Emma on RUclips is extraordinary; but live, Emma is truly elite. I had a front row seat, about 10 feet from where Emma stood to sing and my goodness, she is like nothing else I have ever seen or heard. Emma is super mature for her age, she makes eye contact with everyone, her delivery is so professional, so perfect, she is so calm and confident, and then there is that emotion and the voice! I have to keep reminding myself that Emma is just 16 years old. A gentleman named Roger Diederen, a lead brass player (flugelhorn I think, but I am no expert) was playing just behind Emma as she sang, and when she finished 'Dancing On The Stars' his face and expression was priceless, he was genuinely moved, and the pleasure of her performance on his face was so tangible, and yet this is a man who will have heard and rehearsed and performed this song with Emma in Andre Rieu's orchestra many many times before. For me as music lover, but a non-professional, that is as good a validation of what Emma is doing as anything I see. My advice to anyone who likes Emma and who gets the chance to see Emma perform live, do it, don't hesitate. I know it can be difficult, may involve some cost, and Emma wont be travelling to every city on the planet, but if you can find a reason to go, go - don't look for a reason not to. Trust me, it is an experience like no other, and it will be unforgettable.

Dear Zeus, you indicate that the person who wrote this had problems with her father. Nothing could be further from the truth. This song was written for a father who died in a war. And was sung by Emma at various WWII commemorations.
