Mate, great video as usual. Just a tip when painting, I notice you spraying in "strokes" the best method is to do long consistent diagonal strokes. You should never stop/start on the actual item. Stopping and starting should always be away from the item. Spraying long diagonal consistent lines will give you a much better result.

On the gear knob removal - did you have to remove the plastic sleeve attached to the stem under the gear knob ? ( not the reverse part ) - I’ve had to hacksaw my old one off but not sure on this bit…

Car looking better by every episode. The black and yellow gear gaitor looks really good but dont think the black and red gear knob fits the interior. Looks out of place with red stiching to be honest

Miller Corner I personally don’t really know how much I like the red badge on my imola blue cinquecento sporting I painted the badges satin black and sanded the top down to blue

Excellent video as always! Glad to hear you're keeping the same color! How much is the respray going to run you, just curious? I just found out I have a small amount of rust on the rear-right wheel well on my car and I am being quoted $800 CAD from some reputable shops to fix it....ridiculous! I am leery of going somewhere cheaper though as I want it repaired properly.....we'll see how that goes! :(
Thanks dude 😁 unsure as yet - doing as much of the prep work myself as possible, partly to be involved and partly to reduce costs 😎 that sounds a bit steep! Maybe ask locals for recommendations?
@@MillerCorner Sadly car repairs are pretty costly here all round. Found a local shop that will do it for $600 that seems to have good recommendations, so hopefully he does a good job!

Hello bro i have a red seicento sporting Abarth and i want to change the gear knob...the gears are the same as yours but i cant take off the standard gear knob...how did you change yours???
Hey i was wondering are lift up switch and gear knob in one, or they are separate on gearstick ( so i can take out my knob without damaging lift up) ?
The lift up switch is separate, so you just have to carefully knock the knob up and off from beneath 👍🏻
You are the man! A question, not directly related to the topic of this video, but still styling related: The front lip of the bonnet almost touches the front bumper on your Seicento. I removed the blue 90' trim piece myself from the top of the bumper and it leaves a 1" gap. So how is it done? Do you weld a strip of sheet metal to the lip and the sculpt the edge in filler?
Tore Lund there are two types of seicentos there’s a seicento SPI and a seicento MPI the spi has a blue bit or purple stripe across the top of the bumper the spi has a different style bumper what you would need to do is buy an MPI bumper off of a seicento from 2001 to 2003
@@fabdavies1446 Thanks, I figured it out and got and unpainted black for a 2005 Seicento according to the spare part supplier, and it fits perfectly all fastening holes for screws are the same places.

Just do an eBay search for "Seicento gaiter" - can't link unfortunately, but good quality leather and was only about £6 😁

Can I paint my seicento at home with spray can?
You can, yes. I wouldn't recommend it necessarily unless you can do it indoors, take your time and you're not a perfectionist with the finish...
I have a garage and a sporting . I want to do a project but don't want spend much. I need to change front joints , calipers and a refresh to the body. How much can cost me? Plus last question. I want fit biggest wheels. Some to suggest? Thanks for the videos .
Hi everyone just looking at abit more advice ive found some 14" alloys i like but there 100pcd and my seicento is 98pcd wat can i do about it
Get yourself some wobble bolts, my friend - they allow you to fit 4x100 wheels on a 4x98 PCD car 😁

Nope, not dangerous - just keep them regularly tightened up 😁

'disrespected cento' you're not at the mcm level..jet, you just lacking some Tig welding skills and ECU programming. But don't worry most of us are lacking those skills. just keep on cracking

Worn down pads potentially - either do a visual check or get a garage to have a look

Get some Seicento Abarth wheels, they are 14 inch.

@@mrdevil3167 Any 4x98 bolt pattern 14" rims should fit it, as long as the offset is similar to the stock rims' offset.
Steven Davies there not that much money tbh as there not posh or anything I personally prefer the original 13inch wheels or i would personally buy some 14 inch 5 Spock BK racing wheels
