You don't have to drain all fluids. Just the fuel tank needs to be less than 1/4 full for most container companies, but some will be 1/8th or less. Draining the other fluids is not required for shipping. Source? I load and unload containers to and from Australia. The battery needs to be disconnected and terminals taped, didn't see that in the video either. That is required even if the vehicle has never had anything flammable in it. As for the "corrosion"? You only really need to deal with that if it's RORO (roll on roll off). The containers have 4 vents in the top, so long as the container itself is in decent shape the most you have to deal with is some water that rains down from the top of the container due to the moisture in the air. But using some desiccants will cut that down quite a bit. Also couldn't see the wood used in front of the wheels. If that wood is not ISPM-15 lumber, and it's checked when it gets there, it will be quarantined. ISPM-15 lumber has the IPPC half tree stamp on it. If it's lumber from like home depot with just an HT kind of stamp on it, that will not be good enough. It has to be ISPM-15 or they will quarantine it. To get away from using ISPM-15 you can use engineered wood. Like plywood or OSB. But if it's like a 2x4 or 2x10 or something along those lines it has to be. The vehicles cleanliness. There won't be any damage... The only way for damage to occur would be if the container itself come unstuck, such as in a huge fuck off storm, in which case, it's more likely to find it's way to the bottom of the ocean before all 8 tie down straps snap.
Jdm cars get shipped here from japan with 2 or 3 cars in a container and land stateside flawless. It's ppl in customs or the transportation company that can cause the damage tbh. Unless the container ship rolls which there's no saving the car anyway then it'll be fine.

I would love to see toast come back and run down the drag strip. Whos with me!!??
That thing will throw him for a ride his first full speed pass on a strip, or break.
I can't imagine them not filming it, but i really hope we get to see toast when they see it for the first time in Aus, so we get to see just what a car that's been on a container ship for 6 weeks or so looks like, any damage etc...
Why didnt they put a cover over the whole car
@@sausagewalllet It's covered by a container.
They have yootoob in Australia too...
Revving it on the way back from the rolling burnout was intimidating. Just hear a roar in the dark. Hell yeah brother!
Terrifying is more like it 😂
I know I'm late to the party here but... that hood just makes it all PERFECT. Love that finished look. Perfection.
After the burnouts i want to see this thing become a big tire car with a wheelie bar. I see low 7’s in its future
This is hands down my favorite build you guys have done. It's just so freaking rowdy!
Everyone within 5 miles heard that burnout lol
I think I heard it in Upstate New York.
@@zachaliles bruh i heard it all the way from France, can you hear the bald eagles?
I felt it here in Montana
Ope, felt a lil shake here in oklahoma
@@zachaliles i heard it all the way to finland! hell yeah brother bog deep!
Huge congratulations on building such an iconic US muscle car for the biggest Aussie burnout comp. Really proud of what you have achieved already. Wishing you and the amazing car all the best for a safe trip over. Hope all your expectations become a reality and you have an awesome time down under. Cheers Guys \m/
“Down Under... where the blower spins backwards” 😂
Timothy Bingham kind of the point of the joke 😂
Aw heck, I hope the tensioner is designed to be installed on the other side for use in the southern hemisphere? 😂
Cooper is indeed a humorous fella
PlanesTrainsAutos - you’re talking mullet dryers here, aren’t you...?!
Toast is my favorite car since the OG Leroy days. It’s just like my 15 year old self’s dream build out together IRL. As a 32 year old I am so jealous.
Awesome build.
The look of pure happiness on his face when he does the burnout is awesome
Thanks for this upload I showed my pops this build in this vid earlier today he was in love with the 10.3l blower toast he was really taken back by it. He passed about 4 hours after seeing it. Just wanted to say thanks for this upload was a good moment to share with my pops before he went.
I’m Australian and dam I gotta say toast is gonna put on one hell ofa show
I agree my my brother
Cheers. Enjoy because it’s gonna get crazy for sure !!!!
Cooper to James: - So you wanna race Leroy?
Cleetus - All right all right...
Best line ever
agreed
i laughed harder at james reply, "time to go sell that stick shift"
Lonnie Leu I totally missed that!
Cletus: we finally build a burnout car
Neighbor: am I a joke to you
Commenting in this format is how kids talk.
Somebody has to say it I am so proud of you for that hood that it's made me happier than you could ever imagine!
Cleetus: I’m not going to send it that hard
Also Cleetus: instantly does a donut without brakes
No rear brakes = proper burn out car
Then does a fat rolling burnout haha
Just add 180 Degrees of timing to your tune when you get to Australia, Easy reverse tune!

Once you guys are done at summernats I would love to see this thing turn into a quarter mile machine !
Nah it's a burnout machine all the way! Cleetus is making it popular and there will be big competitions in the states in no time.
Aussies are ahead of us with everything
1/4 mile or 1 mile... If I had a vote... but with how powerful they can potentially make that car... 2k+ HP pretty sure if they drag it it will be 1/8.
"Were gonna need a bigger tire, and Nitrous" - James
But yeah I agree tub the back slap on a big tire and see what itll do..... might be faster than Leeroy
Yee... I can’t stress this enough.... haw! This car would be a scary drag car
Wheelie riding camaro?
I think they have to make toast a drag car after summernats or something.
Or wait nevermind, theres mullet that's gonna be rowdy, keep toast as a burnout car

Welcome to all the skid cars in aus
That rolling burnout was so friggin fast it would crush a straight away
its basically a meth funny car without the safety cage or tube chassis.
When you get back from down under put big tires on it and run the 1/4
I legit giggled like a schoolgirl when you started that burnout, thing sounds INSANE.
The Wakz I giggled like a school girl at “let me do a roller”. Then roasts them for two blocks instantly
Come to Summernats, Days of killer burnouts!
That thing just spins effortlessly thats one hell of a car you guys have built. Them roots blowers just all the boost instantly and all the torque
Instead of WD40, you really should have slathered Toast in vegemite.
Could have left some in toast for the customs people😹😹🍻

Nope he's to much an imbecile
So THAT was all the noise I heard up here in Jacksonville last night.
I like your sti in your profile pic haha, I have the same color 2011
@@jacobshepherd3997 Thanks! I got a quick little dyno video on my channel with a build list in the description.
U can get an anti rust spray called "fish oil" its in a can like WD, we use it on our 4x4's when we bog deep on the beach, its helps with all the salt water.
Wd40 IS fish oil , at least the original fomula was.
Originally developed to combat corrosion on NUKES !?!?
WD-40 does not contain fish oil, contrary to a popular myth, nor does it contain silicone, kerosene, water, wax, graphite, chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs).

There was a bald eagle in my backyard this morning, I knew there would be a new cleeter video today.

cleetus: were not going to do any crazy burnouts....
also cleetus: smokes out the entire area code

is it just me or can anyone else hear the bald eagle quietly in the background 12:40 - 12:55? as the hoods coming off.
MaStars holy shit lol dope
Sure did
Wow man, nice catch don't normally wear headphones for watching vids but I put a set on after seeing your comment and it absolutely is an Eagle in the background. Question is did the boys put it there or is it just a cool coincidence ?
Is heavy machinery making bald eagles
Eagles don't make the screaming sound at all. Eagles make a weird cackling sound but the sound most people thing of is actually a hawk. YES the hawks sounds are awesome and I herd it! Good ears. I am surprised how many people have no idea what a eagle actually sounds like.
Do we finally get to see cleeter with his face blurred out in a cash days now?
I thought there was already a video where his face was blurred
@@jasonmartinez7230 i havent seen it wheres the link? Lol
Jimmy Tweedale it’s from a couple years ago, he was just in the video but still blurred out

Real quick indeed.
After toast is done being a burnout car it should be converted to a big tire drag car
There's still an ElCamino lurking in the shadows........
Troyrockstar i feel like they’ll sell that and use this. a lot of jet car work to revert there
Ginger O omg. Is this really a burnout car 🤕🤕🤕
Dylan Meredith did you not watch any of this video or any of the other like 20 about it? lol they shipped it to Australia to go to that summernats smoke show
@@gochanny That seems kinda likely, but the cage is pretty much there for the bigger classes. I say swap the big block into the el camino. You know they'll race it with something goofy in the back.

Could you imagine him taking pictures with it and grabbing his coworkers lol I bet they're waiting for it
the Australian customs inspectors would be completely straight faced, they have massive hard-ons for rules and regulations
