    Mate, we loved having you here in OZ, super proud of the effort you all put in. Brand new build barely tested, teething problems are pretty much a given. I only got to make it on the sunday and the only reason I went this year, as I have never been to summernats lol, is purely because you gonna be there. You were pretty wrecked but still made time to shake my hand get a pic and give my two little sons a high five. I had a bit of chat with your Dad and he is a really nice bloke, I thanked him for raising his youngest son into a great person and fantastic entertainer. I know you and toast will be back and be a full on contender for burnout master winner. I have no doubt of your ability to do a maaad skid. We all love good people who give it their best and that is exactly what you did mate. You're a bloody legend

    I'm honestly so sad that this "series" is over (for now). This has been so much fun to watch. Even with all the fires going on in Australia, all those people showed up and just let it rip and had a good time. Seeing how much love they have for burnouts and for all the people there is just wonderful. From the USA chants after you blew the motor on the first run, to people offering for you to use their shop, you can tell that everyone there are just such great people! All this to say and i still haven't even mentioned how big of an inspiration you and your team were! You, James, Coop, and everyone else was always so positive and always worked so hard to put your best foot forward out at this event. You guys didn't let anything stop you from having fun and from enjoying your time there. I may have never met any of you and may never get to meet any of you, but this whole "series" made me feel like I was there with you and felt like I was your friend or a part of your team, and i love that your videos can make me feel that way. Have a safe trip back and I'm already looking forward to your next upload!

    As an Aussie, I just want to thank everyone for your support, thoughts and prayers. It's been tough these past few months, the bushfires have been extremely difficult to contain let alone extinguish because of the terrain it's going through and erratic winds pushing the fire front in different directions, entire towns have been wiped off the map, over a third of Kangaroo Island has been turned to ash, potentially causing an extinction to at least one species. I just wanted to give a shout out to all the people that have written positive comments. Thank you.

    • @geraldryan7544
      @geraldryan7544 4 года назад

      @@rocsti5402 No mate. It is irrelevant. And the worst air quality in the world is not in Australia. That is a silly assertion.
      Summer in Australia is hot and dry. That's normal. Bush fires are normal. They are part of the natural cycle of the bush. What is abnormal are all the on-going efforts by misguided city based bureaucrat people working for the government to prevent them from occurring at all, hence allowing the amount of ground litter to accumulate well beyond what it naturally would.
      Instead of regular small fires consuming the ground litter (which is like solidified petrol) the ground litter builds up until one day the really big fires start. These fires clear the litter all in one go and they are of immense intensity. They are so intense that aerial fire bombers are utterly and completely useless against them. 1 MegaWatt per square metre of bush is the upper limit of a fire which can be fought by humans. The fires in Australia are at minimum an order of magnitude (10x) higher than that. Fires of this intensity are analogous to volcanic eruptions. Just as fire fighters can't fight a volcanic eruption, they are similarly helpless against fires this energetic. Nature has its way.
      The solution is to do what the Australian Aborigines did for tens of thousands of years. They already worked it all out. You need to clear the ground litter and you do that by allowing nature to have its way. That means lots of regular small burn-offs. Each area needs a fire at least once every three years. The Aborigines used to do it and they used to let the bush burn naturally when nature set it off, but now the government prohibits this. Interesting how the big fires came out of the Federal parklands and reserves....

    • @rocsti5402
      @rocsti5402 4 года назад

      @@geraldryan7544 its alright your obviously hopeless as individuals and a country.... I wish your plan of burning is all up followed by mass migration all the best of luck in the coming decade. What do you the population of Australia will be like in 2035?

    • @geraldryan7544
      @geraldryan7544 4 года назад

      @@rocsti5402
      1. Do not lower yourself to ad hominem attack. It demonstrates serious lack of knowledge and a lack of civility. It is beneath you to behave so.
      2. The Australian Aborigines understand the bush better than do you. It is their home. It was the home of their ancestors of multiple generations past. The Australian Aborigines developed the approach of routine small controlled bush fires to clear the litter and prevent it building up to dangerous levels. These ancient people know that in order to control nature one must first understand it. They do both. The Australian Aborigines thrived in Australia for a very long time indeed and they are still there to this very day.
      3. I do not know what the population of Australia might be in 2035. It isn't relevant to the topic anyway.
      4. Note, I am not Australian and do not live there.
      5. Australia is a fascinating place. It is very beautiful in many, many areas. The environment is often extremely rugged and can be quite hostile to human life. You need to know what you are doing to survive in the bush or in the outback. Taking a journey through either teaches humility and a respect for the people who live out there.
      6. Many wonderful people are in Australia. They possess a brilliant culture and tradition with really interesting history which we can all learn a great deal from.
      7. It is recommended you visit Australia and see it for yourself- although recently it is unlikely you'll be allowed to leave wherever it is you reside. That's too bad, for you are missing out on a great experience, a lot of quality learning and meeting some of the best people anywhere.
      8. Australia has been known as "The Lucky Country" for an extended period of time. There is a reason for that. It has to do with the people and their attitude to life. Theirs is an example to learn from.

    HUGE respect, not many people will have built their burnout car in the time you guys did, and achieved what you did with so little dyno time and NO time behind the wheel. Hat off to yas, thanks so much for sharing, you guys have the BEST holiday videos lol

    Cletus can I say for a lack of driver experience (at summernats) and toasts first run you did fucking phenomenal given the issues from the start aswell.
    We really appreciate the effort from everyone involved to come over here especially with the country's current circumstances.
    Some lessons have been learnt from this year and will all know you're going to come back next year with the knowledge and experience you've gained and fucking send it 🤟

      As Americans we still must be vigilant. Australia is run by globalists and socialists and the Australian government did take part in the illegal spying on Americans for political purposes.
      The Chinese communist tenticles reach deep into that country.

    Some of the biggest legends sadly not mentioned by Cleetus are the fire men and women surrounding burnout arena charging into a methanol fueled fire every time one lit up, standing around in 40+ heat all day including the one Cleetus completely engulfed in flames on his 1st effort. The guy although on fire himself charged Cleetus's car while his mate was trying to put out the flames on him. These guys and gals are absolute legends.
