Thank you for explaining the MIDI scenario here. When I create its all MIDI from my VST's, but I always bounce to Audio clips after mixing because its less strain on the processor. It generally drops from 15%-20% down to 1%-2% once its all Audio.
I love this M1 MacBook Pro but it definitely needs more than 16GB RAM for my use. I think 32GB or better yet 64GB RAM would enable me to keep my projects and all VST's open in MIDI. Either way it works!

I love the simplicity of homie method...classic
I usually have six things in my beats ...bassline strings sample lead synth and obviously the beat I seldom put anything else in if I do it's sound effects or bells ect .. sometimes I don't even use six tracks ...but most of the other sounds I add are to play over the sample in the hook then take them out just with the beat bassline and sample playing and might add something light in just to complement the sample a few bars before the hook drops
That kick is a heavy hitter. Keepin it simple always sounds better

The first time I watched this I just listened on my phone. I decided to go back and watch it connected to my Bose Bluetooth speaker. Man this shit is cold! Still seem more involved then need be... save the mpc midi file 2 thumb drive then drag into S1 pro. Suppose to split into however many midi channels used then command B. It will solo every channel n bounce to audio..

I made a template in studio one to just rewire the mpc software.So i just make the beat like you just did in standalone save it open it back up in the software with studio one.

I’m a fan of the channel but can you do more videos on more than just trap beats? That’s not everybody’s style. I feel like the trap style has had its run and needs to fade to black. Can we return to the boom bap in hip hop? Also would you consider a video of a track meant for a singer. Something more melodic that incorporates live performance and real instruments?
