Video interview with Icelandic singer-songwriter Ásgeir Trausti Einarsson, better known simply as Ásgeir. FaceCulture spoke with Ásgeir about his hometown, writing hundreds of songs, working on his new album Afterglow, experimenting with electronics, James Blake, getting into the lyrics, New Day, capturing a feeling, getting the live sound right, his competitive nature, pressure, the purity of art, finding a balance, and a lot more! You know what fascinates me about the Nordic culture? How beautifully humble and pure they are. His demeanor is very calm. He seems like a very humble person. I want to strive to adapt this character.
no offense but saying you want to strive to adapt some character sounds really American
That's sort of a stereotypical thing to say. Striving to become a better version of yourself by seeking out the good qualities in others and trying to adapt those traits, especially those that you find influential, is not the American way. It's the human way.
What a beautiful man!!
Such a gentle, beautiful soul (and annoyingly handsome!)
So would love a Hozier and Asgeir collab!
He looks so damn beautiful and also talented.
Beautiful Mesmerizing voice 🍂🧡🍂
I like how he describes the process of writing and finding the correct method that works for other people. Writing hundreds of songs and boiling them down to a few selected +++
Thank you for the new music. It's a bit different than the first album but just as beautiful.
Big baby🤗
His music sounds like if coldplay mixed with Jamiroquai, vocal & funky👍👍
Omg! my Vajuju is in love with this hottie!
