I watched the doc on this and I cried and went and hugged my 8 year old son. We live in a suburbs of Arizona, so this lifestyle, I’m far from it. I don’t understand how these mamas ain’t pack up and move to Idaho!!! This is so heartbreaking💔 I’ve been up for 2 days not able to sleep because of the loss of life. Utterly, horribly heartbreaking.
Packing up and moving takes resources, cash, shit you almost need family wherever you going. Not saying it’s impossible but it’s fucking hard and can leave you in a place where you don’t know anyone and your at the back of the line for essential things like housing & programs clinics treatment centers. Lose your health insurance, transportation, food assistance, depending where ya go.finding a job and place nearby each other is really hard to coordinate too. And plus if you have legal issues it’s just another layer of confusing bureaucracy to sort out or keep ya held down. I was stuck for a while and it took me years to get out.

I get what you saying, and I’m not saying it would be easy. But if it came down to my kids life in jeopardy because of my environment. By any means necessary I will move heaven and earth to keep my kid safe. But again, this is coming from a mother who did it, and did it just barely.
