Depends on your choices, killing the reapers endings canon with extended cut is Shepard lives, Bioware confirmed it, for those who got very emotional about not getting the happy ending with their love interest they deserved. So Shep breathing at the end gives the player to decide what happens from their, not in their head canon but from previous choices made. Shepard keeps his promise. @@Divine_Smite
+Mel Thorn I did the same at the end of the game, not only did I finish the surreal story, I also ended one that my childhood had grown up going through. And wether or not you count Shepard's chest plate breathing at the end and him not dying, or the ending you chose to be cannon is up to you. But remember that in one way he is alive and that this amazing story can still be replayed. ;)
This is why I love Garrus the best. His character as a whole, the fact that his relationship feels deeper on so many levels compared to the rest, and then there's this moment right here after the citadel party. Him stating that the best years/times of his life was spent on that ship. I just can't 😪🤧💔
Echoing what others have said here, Mass Effect wasn't just some game for many of us. I speak for myself but know I'm not alone when I say that ME had a strong and marked impact on my development. Playing Mass Effect as it came out is an experience I use as a standard for other games and media. Quite honestly, few things have managed to fall into the same ballpark. God I can't wait for Legendary Edition.

c'mon guys, what about Jack? even when I instaled 'happy ending mod' I was crying like a baby child, for few hours...I hate Bioware for all endings of ME3...
I miss Mass Effect. We all know how it ends. We all know the fate of our friends... our own little fictional family.... we all know. But Mass Effect is one of those games that keeps bringing me back. The characters feel genuine. Maybe not REAL, but genuine. Every time I think of Mass Effect, all I can think of are the allies I made and lost along the way. That one romance option I always took. That decision I always made. And the one time I didn't. I must have spent over a thousand hours between the trilogy and the multiplayer in 3. My heart yearns for a happy ending that I know cannot be, no matter how hard I try. No matter how much effort Shepard and the crew put in. Mass Effect is a war story about a foe that cannot be reasoned with... And a crew of very skilled miss-fits that rise to meet them at every turn. No game, no franchise has ever made me feel this much pain... But I love it.
Exactly, when i was playing the the game,, it feels so real. It felt like they were real. Friendship, romance, bromance. Even i dont remember when is the ending i chose for the first time. I juat remember that that, i want geth and edi to survive, everyone survive then ending.
Well said. There's so many of us who refuse to let these memories die. I was in a committed relationship at the time of ME3's initial release. We both loved Mass Effect, and had very different Shepherds. My partner played a Biotic Renegade FemShep, I played a Sentinel Paragon BroShep. Knowing it was going to be a conclusion and that it might be inevitable that we'd lose people, we bought some colorful shower markers and kept a tally of our casualties. I drew a fairly decent N7 logo and divided the wall in half. We agreed not to discuss anything but that wall. Her wall makes me cry to this day. I made a few mistakes, myself. Kelly was the worst for me. But she had Wrex. Ashley AND Kaiden. Miranda. Jack. Samara. We broke silence over Mordin. She said she "had to" shoot him. I called BS. She asked why he was on my board, too. I said it was his choice. We broke up about a year later. ME3 brings back a swell of memories for me. A lot of them are painful, but I wouldn't trade that for anything.
Greatest game series I've ever played. Never before have I gotten so emotional playing a video game as in the Mass Effect series, especially the third.
Saying goodbye to Liara at the forward Earth base just before the end...ffffuuuuuuu....that killed me. I've never been so emotionally attached to a game and its' characters. I have *memories* of this game. I actually miss it.
Whenever I think about Shepard's death, a line from a different series now comes to mind. "There are so many stories where some brave hero decides to give their life to save the day, and because of their sacrifice, the good guys win, the survivors all cheer, and everybody lives happily ever after. But the hero... never gets to see that ending. They'll never know if their sacrifice actually made a difference. They'll never know if the day was really saved. In the end, they just have to have faith. Ain't that a bitch."
Rob Smith I think what really broke me was my own ending. How I save everyone and Shepherd still dies. After all that time playing the character, and hanging out with the crew and falling in love with the characters...
12:20 When Wrex and Eve are standing under the light flakes of life floating down from a once dead sky to give hope to their people - after braving every danger by Shepards side to see hope spring anew at the hand of the very Salarian scientist who shackled the Krogan so long ago. That's when I lost it - cried like a baby. Felt like I had lived by Wrex, and getting to see the joy on his face. F#@k all what anyone may cry about the ending - There was *so much closure* leading up to the end with *each and every character* I had grown attached to, that they could have just painted *THE END* on the wall of the Citadel and I would have been good with it. Sitting on the sky bridge shooting bottles with my best bud Garris. Sitting with Tali as she is the first to breathe in the air of her home. Saying goodbye to Liara in a nova of light and love. Seeing Joker dance one last dance - having given some life and love to all these characters and getting to say goodbye. This is poetry - other games don't bring it on every level like this one - through the *whole* series.
RustyLH Fortunately Andromeda had nothing to do with the original trilogy so that being a mess was a completely separate issue and didn't ruin the feelings I had for the trilogy. Also agreed, I loved ME3.

To this day I cannot believe Mass Effect was not much more popular. The story was absolutely unbelievable, the music was S-tier, the depth of character development, etc. Bring it back, man
JoeTyler85 i just want a port to next to gen. or even *gasp* PC, just as in origin. on steam. EA really needs to see that origin is not working and just put their shit on steam.
I understand everyone was pissed off at the original ending. But the truth of every hero's story is sacrifice. And here, Shepard isn't just sacrificing himself, he is sacrificing the future he could have had with anyone. But that is what life is. Everything has an ending and every hero has to die, including you - the player.
I don't mind that Shepard died (other than weeping about it) I mind that despite all our choices we were left with the exact same ending, three options with vaguely different colors.
yea, you don't quite understand why everyone was pissed off by the ending. theres also an undertone of hating EA since the overwhelming amount of people blame them for cracking the whip on Bioware to make the game in 2 years time instead of the usual 3... TLDR: rushed game doesnt get the love it deserves
The original ending what a flash of light with a random colour that had no sacrifice, no exposure, no emotions other than confusion. Your choices did not matter, the outcome was preordained. 2/3 'choices' were introduced a minute before ending by a creature who by then had no right of existing. You never found out what happened to Sheppard, nor to the galaxy. In any ending.
Came here after finishing the trilogy remaster tonight. Around 150 hours total. I remember playing these games as a kid, not fully involved with the lore and only caring about the combat. Playing the remaster now, as a 22 year old, I've never felt so invested in a game universe before. Even knowing how it all ended, the journey to get there was so bittersweet. I don't have any friends in my life, so feeling a sense of belonging with the crew meant so much. Finding love with Cortez gave such comfort. But now that it's over I can't help but feel that void reappear inside me. So here I am, at 3am, staring at the stars and longing for a galaxy where aliens coexist peacefully and are awaiting the introduction of humans. The saddest part is, neither me or you will be alive when that happens. Maybe in another life we'll be able to find love in the cosmos and traverse the galaxy with fear in our stomachs and hope in our eyes. But for now we have this. And I'm glad we can all share a bond that runs so deep through this series. I'm sure we're all here for the same reasons. And I love you all.
I dont know you but I'd offer a hug to a stranger just so you know we're gonna be ok. I hope if alien contact ever happens that a strong love connection is made.
Imagine in the not too distant future, we are able to travel to the farthest stars and develop relations and friendships with so many alien cultures. Imagine, just for one second, a galaxy where there are dozens of life forms that are just waiting to be discovered. That, my friends, is the vision of Mass Effect.
One of the interesting dilemmas of theories of aliens is that, hypothetically there should be loads of alien life out there because of the age of the universe and the short time it took humanity to develop... but where are they all? And Mass Effect answers that by suggesting they get wiped out all the time. Kind of depressing, in that light.
umjackd To me, Mass Effect is the ideal future for our kind, excluding the Reapers of course. But, according to our current day scientists the speed of light, which would allow us to travel to nearby stars relatively easily, is next to impossible to attain.
Language was always a little bug for me. The aliens that humans encountered about 25 years ago (in the Mass Effect Universe) just luckily happen to be able to converse in the English language and fully comprehend it in this short span of time. Of course maybe some speech recognition technology or something may get around it, but still, it bugs me.
AlbertCamusian1913 There is actually a detailed entry in Mass Effect I that details the language recognition technology that they use. That is what's remarkable about the Mass Effect series, the amount of work they put into the background details.
The music made this game. All the characters, the story, the helplessness you felt as you watched that one little ship leave Earth. It was all made a thousand times more real because of the soundtrack.
The fact that Shepard's plaque doesn't have his or her first name is a tragedy. You are told to pick a first name and it literally *never* comes up. This would have been a perfect opportunity to bring it back.
It's so sad that Casey Hudson left Bioware. This man didn't deserve that much hatred. Imagine if you make the franchise of your life and make it awesome, and everybody loves it, and then one day all these fans destroy it with their pesimism. He was the one who created this masterpiece, and for that we should be thankful to him, even if you don't like the ending (I personally liked it, because it was epic and spectacular). Now every time this guy thinks of Mass Effect, he'll remember all these horrible things about it, instead of what made it special. I also have a feeling these other guys will totally ruin Mass Effect or release it every year like cod and if that happens, it'll be butthurt fans' fault.
+Ivaylo Borov It won't be the developers' fault if the game gets released each year. Mass Effect is a big thing now, and it has loyal fans. Publishers will always hunt down these kinds of franchises and ask for more and more games (pushing for one each year) because it will make them money. Believe me, the developers involved in these games often hate being pushed. Not only does it put an immense amount of pressure on them to churn out something they once loved, but it also means they cannot put as much dedication into it as they want. If you truly love something, you have to give it time to grow and, in the case of writers, give time for them to write something truly epic. As for the fans who complain, I think they have legitimate critcisms. You'll find a lot of stories are ruined by either cliche or ridiculous endings. The ridiculous endings often come from things that are designed to kill off a major character (for emotional effect) but are executed in a way that doesn't fit (say, the character could have easily survived it considering their past achievements). That, or the ending suddenly throws a tonne of new information at the player to try and tie up loose ends (explain things that aren't shown in gameplay), which is generally bad because it begs the question of why they didn't include it in the story earlier. But sometimes you just can't help it. You write something that sounds amazing to you, but the fans might see it differently. That can't be helped. And once its out there, its very difficult to undo it. You can either retcon it (and thus remove the game from official canon), or you can try to salvage it... neither are easy to do.
+Ivaylo Borov We all made mistakes, if the fans says the ending was a mistake OK, but I didn't play with these three games to see the end, are you ? It was a magnificiant journey, teached me many valuable things. I think the ending was necessery, that ending. We've got all the answer what we were searching for, if we were open-eyed we saw more than the answers, They showed us, this isn't the end, Not for Shepard, maybe not for the reapers (Destroy ending: Indoctrination theory) And if someone has a doubt for the Andromeda: New beginning... for all of us.
With EA in charge I expect a lot fucking DLCs for ME4.... As long as the cash cow is going there ain't no stopping. I hope BioWare took it's time to give us another epic space story, I'd pay a fortune for another amazing piece of work like the triology.
I have never had the honor of reading, watching, or playing a more compelling story than the one told through the Mass Effect Trilogy. I got to not only witness, but help instigate personal growth in so many characters that felt as real and believable as the people I meet on the street every day. And when the third game rolled around and the conversations I had with my crew members said that I was the one who made the difference in them, and enabled them to make a difference for others, I felt that. People who don't play may not understand, but I traveled the galaxy for these characters. I invested my time into making sure that what mattered to them was taken care of, because they mattered to me. And, in turn, when they told me that I mattered, that I was their friend, that they loved me, it felt real. I want to thank the writers, animators, voice actors, and everyone else who helped tell this amazing story for that. It may sound lonely or sad to some, but this is the beauty of a good story. Of great characters, and the reward for dozens of hours invested into it. Keelah se'lai ...
Joshua Kapusinski WARNING: the ending sucks (though you probably already know that from all the rants on the internet). I recommend getting the extended cut if you can, as that makes it slightly more bearable.
RZIBARA117 I like Kaidan more then Ash. I always let her die. Kaidan was with Shepard longer then Ash so he should stay since since he was part of the crew before her.
Strange how can we develop such love for all those fictional characters. I know Andromeda will be a great game, but hearing this, playing Citadel, along with so many other things makes me realize: There will NEVER again exist such an amazing family like the original Mass Effect trilogy family. Ever.
I think each of us takes away something different from these games. That's part of their majesty. A good game beats boredom away with a wooden stick, a great game pulls you in and keeps you there 'till it ends, but games like this... they never fully leave you. Games like this live on forever. They grow and become far more than what they ever set out to be. Once you've played Mass Effect, it stays with you for life. Mass Effect has been a part of my life since 2007, it'll be that way 'till I die. A legend in my heart, a legend in my hands, a legend that lives on forever. As long as we enjoyed the journey, as long as we were there with the characters through it all, Mass Effect will never end!
I was a little late to the Show.. I came on board when Mass Effect 2 came out... but like you, for me and my son... Mass Effect will always be a part of us. A huge part of me stayed there in the Normandy.
I remember when I first played me1 and on the starting menu the music that began to play... just.. I already knew this would be a great trilogy. so calm and peaceful I remember being really excited. now gone through the trilogy 16 times the game never gets boring never gets old and will never leave my heart
ME3 was going so well for me... Then I got to the final assault. Seeing Garrrus die in that explosion destroyed me. I literally put down my controller, went downstairs and cried into my mum's shoulder I was that upset. I felt as if I lost a family member it was that bad! To this day I think about it every night. I owe you a drink...space sniper. :(
I used to see this game now and again in the game shops, on youtube, but I never gave it a chance. The first mass effect game I played was the 3rd. I liked the game, but was ultimately disappointed in the ending. A couple years passed and I finally got to play the second game, and I loved it. After which I obviously got all three games and as much doc as I possibly could. Not expecting the emotional enthrallment of the games, I jumped in, from first to last. Each character offered a new experience, they were all different and the relationships even felt real. These games changed me as a person. I went from a nihilistic bitter asshole, to one that looked to the stars. Shepard's example ironically guided me to cherish who we are not just on an individual level, but on a level where for a moment I saw no race, no creed, no difference. Just humanity. I took a look back on this story and realised just how important it was that I played these games, had I not, what would I have filled my heart with? I'm glad to say I do not know, except now I feel as though I was part of crew Normandy. I hold memories. Sharing serrice ice brandy with Dr. Chakwas, mordins brave sacrifice for the people he felt he wronged, being there for Tali after what happened to her father or saying goodbye to Anderson from the rubble of earth's civilization. Joker confirming the arrival of many fleets, all in unity. I remember it all like I was there and now I couldn't imagine not having lived the mass effect life. I think we can all learn valuable things from ME. No matter what you're made of or what you look like, you have a soul. Why take away someone's being on a technicality? when you could hear happiness in the thanks of someone you helped.we should cherish our home, because mistreating or making terrible mistakes may cause us to lose it. Be there for your friends in their darkest, so you may all bask in light. Fight with, not against eachother in time we're all we need is eachother. Remember how far you have came, and the people around you when you feel like giving up. Take action, not pitty. Be strengthened by the wavering of others so you can pick them up and then dust them off. Even if it all seems doomed, keep hope that it might get better. I cannot begin to convey what this series means to me. Mass effect will forever be in my heart and I will never forget it's example. Commander Shepard, Anderson, garrus, liars, Tali, ash, everyone, it was and honour saving the galaxy with dear friends and let us not forget those we've lost, who's deaths felt real as day, legion, mordins, all of them, thanks. ❤️
Is it sad that I have completed this entire trilogy over 10 times in the exact same way? ME1 -> Paragon Male Shep No Romance ME2 -> Paragon Tali Romance Me3 -> Paragon Destroy Ending just to be with Tali And even though Shepard takes a breath at the end of all my playthroughs, I just can't help being sad at the idea that maybe he dies and Tali won't be with him anymore. Is it too much to ask for a small snapshot of them with their house on Rannoch after that ending? It would help me sleep at night T.T
I've done the exact same thing except I've romanced Liara since game 1 three times already. Right now I'm going with Pargaon Femshep with Romancing Garrus. And don't worry about Shepard surviving, he'll pull through and be taken to a hospital where he'll recover hand have those little blue children with Liara or build that house on Rannoch with Tali.
That's actually exactly how I played through it too, right down to feeling sad that they may not be together (except I sorta kinda slept with Ashley in ME1 {Which I oddly regret, for some reason}), though I've only played through it once. I'm waiting for ME4, then play through the trilogy again in preparation. Anywho; it's really amazing what games can do. It really is.
If you wanna do the whole thing one more time, but this time with the ending you have wanted all that time, try a mod called MEHEM / Mass Effect : Happy Ending Mod. That mod made this Talimancer a very happy man and I think it will do the same for ya. :)
same, I attempted to get as many variables endings from all games, have easily at least 20 Shepard.... all the same bloody name,-_- all romanced Garrus and all paragon -__ just different backgrounds were my intent was to be different but it never happened :(
I'm so happy I was fortunate to experience this story while It was being developed. I hope to god that we look back on this as we're all older as a keystone, a serious benchmark for video games.. one where future video games shall be measured for their depth, their connectivity, their story and their meaningful impact and the fact that after sinking 120 hours of your life into a game, it wasn't a complete waste of time. For instance.... You learned values and ethics, you experienced different morality issues from all possible angles, you've loved... and have lost. You've fought hard, through thick and thin. You've lost allies to gunfire and explosions and you've even seen a crew member sacrifice themselves so the mission could carry on. You've relied on strangers, who've proved themselves as comrades and partners - best of friends. You've survived assassinations, suicide missions, impossible odds... you've saved an entire species from extinction. You settled old scores and united a Galaxy in turmoil... you proved biological life has a place in this Universe and showed that Humanity is not only capable, but Humanity is also willing; to uphold truth, righteousness, and to safeguard this Galaxy, along with the rest of it. During your journeys, you've not only saved all life in the Galaxy from obliteration, you've also saved the blue skinned angel from following in her mother's footsteps. You've been killed - and reborn. The Mass Effect series is my all time favorite experience I've ever sought out. Be that Hollywood cinema, an epic 8-book long novel series or a 3 year long D&D campaign. This. Tops. Everything. Period. Mass Effect, Bioware. Legendary.
Can't wait to experience it in an all-new sense a dozen times more through the Legendary Edition. Looking forward to Mass Effect's legacy growing even more.
In a perfect world every person would get their own personal ending to ME3. Each person would get their own tailored ending and no one would nit pick about anything. Everyone would take away their own message and their own adventure. No two playthroughs would be alike. Everyone would have different experiences and maybe even meet different people. ME may not be able to provide your own ending, but luckily in your life you can...
+Ad Astra when I was a kid(in 40 now) they had a prototype VR HUGE machine. said it would take some time to work it to smaller and affordable(cost was a million to make) scale. been 30 years though...
This franchise is something rare. It is a series of video games that stays with you, defines you, not because of the way the games play, or their designs. It is the story, the mystery and the adventure. It is the unwavering courage in the face of the unknown. Resolution to act for the right reasons. To confront the unexplored frontiers, walk boldly where no one alive has, take up arms among comrades, and protect the weak while defeating the wicked. Above all else, it is the characters. The fictional people whom you meet. Whom you learn to love regardless if they're human, alien, or machine. Mass Effect is more than the story of the Reapers and the galaxy they tried bring to ruin in the name of life, even as they never understood what life was. Mass Effect is a multitude of stories - the characters' own lives and fates that you get to take a part in. It is a privilege to have witnessed. It is a part of me. Friendship, loyalty, devotion, fear, courage, love, hate - this is Mass Effect.
wrong game... Still I MISS YOU CORTANA :( AND NOBLE TEAM AND SRGT JOHNSON AND ALL THE OTHER FUCKING OP AND COOL CHARACTERS IN HALO... (CRYING A LOT NOW FUCK YOU! )
Non gamers will never understand the power that a great video game has. We are all here because we MISS these characters. These polygon characters. They became more than that. They became our friends. We held our breath as they tackled the suicide mission..hoping theyd all survive. We cheered. We cried. Because we as gamers, we FELT. It just wasnt their adventure, it was OURS. Spending hours just talking to these characters was as fulfilling as hours kicking the collector's asses. When harbinger says "Prepare for the arrival", we buckled up and said BRING IT! We made difficult choices. Said goodbye to those members who had become friends. Their sacrifices, no matter how small, always remembered. no other gaming series in my life brought about such a feeling like what mass effect did. And here we are..roughly a little more than a week away..and the adventure begins again.
I'm not a gamer bcuz I would suck at it. You said it so well, though. I know what it's like to miss people and fictional characters as well...being a writer..these songs bring me to tears. I wish all of my good characters could live and the good ones in video games as well.
@@AmberStreetFilmsEntertainment It's not about "sucking at it" or not. It's about enjoying an experience. Just play, no pressure to be good, who cares anyway! You aren't competing :) it's about letting the writers and developers tell us a story, and it's cool because we take part actively in it.
Same it hit a little close to home with me. I'm autistic and seeing David put through that because his mind was autistic and able to mimic the geth made me want to kill Gavin. He did that for his own ambition, no matter what he claims. Sadly the only choices are leave David to rot or let his brother free while saving him neither feel right but David deserves to be free.
Jake the Snake Yeah it's so sad, i'm not autistic or anything but i feel you man. Yeah, Gavin made all of this because of his own ambition and it was convenient since he wasn't the lab rat, really really sad stuff in this dlc, one of the DLCs that made me notice how good Mass Effect is.
+Sergio Esteban Fritz Rieloff yeah by the way that counting thing David does is a legitimate coping mechanism. Many autistic people use them to help with over stimulation. "Ear plugs would be nice" is talking about that David is getting to much stimuli from all the electronics in the room.
Jake the Snake oh, i hear ya, why is this? They have an over sensitiveness with their sorroundings? I've heard this before, people that can relate to this on a video called "Are you listening, Clark?" Look for the man of steel school scene or something like that, in a way you guys are like kryptonians heh.
+Sergio Esteban Fritz Rieloff sort of. See we use a larger percent of our brain then the average person. This is what makes people like David savants. However a large majority of the time we take in too much information and kinda melt down. Personally I can hear the lights buzzing wherever I am. But yeah we are kinda like kryptonians we're really smart but have a really stupid weakness
Mass Effect just ruined gaming for me because no other game is coming even close to the pure, ethereal and deeply moving experience that is this game. And the music!
I fucking cried, yelled in triumph, laughed like a mad man... I don't think I've ever been so unstable outside this game series.. For real it felt so real... (I need help)
Mass Effects music has some of the greatest, most emotional compositions in any medium. Made all the better by getting to actively experience it all through some of the most amazing gaming moments ever realized.
"Shepard-commander, I must go them. I am....I am sorry....it´s the only way..." "Had to be me. Someone else might have gotten it wrong." "Would have liked to run tests on the seashells." "Guide this one, Kalahira, and he will be a companion to you as he was to me." "You did good son. I´m proud of you." "Not sure if Turian heaven is the same as yours, but if this thing goes sideways and we both end up there… meet me at the bar." "Shepard....I....I´m yours." "My turn! He-he-he." "I AM URDNOT WREX, AND THIS IS MY PLANET!" Lines I will never forget, along with Mordins songs which helped me get accepted to a college. Best videogame trilogy in the world! I am really looking forward for the remaster and another ME sequel.
I cannot wait to revisit this world again. Such an amazing trilogy. Such amazing characters. Such an incredible story. Most emotional connection to imaginary things I have every felt. Can't wait...
So many emotional moments in these games. It's always amazed me how moving a video game can be. How attached I got to all of the characters. And how upset I would get whenever I lost one of them. All of the nerve-wracking decisions. What's right and wrong anymore? The amazing settings and soundtracks to go along with all of these moments, amplifying all of those feelings. This is truly one of the greatest game series' of all time... I see myself replaying these over and over in the future. They're worth experiencing again and again. Cheers to Commander Shepard and the entire Normandy crew. Heroes. And friends...
This is the only game that took me on an emotional rolercoster... It's hard to listen to this and not remember the entire trilogy... and just want to relive it for 1 more time. Oh I couldn't sleep the day I finished the trology. Now I saw development fotage of the opcoming ME and hope that they won't forget what we went through...
+Jasna Mulalić the sad part of that is that the best people will never get what they deserve, they never do.... Damn this music is making me think sad.....
Shepard dying was very fitting, in my opinion. He gave everything he had for the galaxy, including his life, and will live on forever as a legend. To die in a blaze of glory in order to save everyone is the perfect way for Shepard to go out.
It's not about what you deserve, especially as a soldier. Each and every soldier views their life as expendable. If they can lay it down to protect others then that is their duty. Shepard was first and foremost a soldier.
Yesterday I finished the Trilogy for the first time. It took me two months, 130 hours of gameplay. I bought all the DLC and expansions to have as complete an experience as I could have. And boy, was I not dissapointed. Tied with The Last Of Us, this was the best gaming experince I ever had. And now it's over. And I'm just sitting here, listening to this over and over and over again. Oh well...on to the feels train. Next stop: Feeladelphia
God, all those amazing characters I got to meet in the game. Each of them unique in their own way, and whatching them grow and learn, becoming each a person of their own, and seeing the impact of my decisions over their lives. I loved this universe, only one other fictitional series did the same to me...
@@stynershiner1854 damn, I forgot I had written this comment. But anyway, the other fictional universe that made me attached to characters like that was star wars.
Ah... the Mass Effect Trilogy. A true masterpiece and a part of me that will live on forever. So many love-able and relate-able characters. Can't wait to see what Andromeda brings for us.
My absolute favorite moment in the game. I am ashamed at how close I feel to a bunch of pixels. No other game has made me love the characters like I do the ones in Mass Effect.
Real Name My favourite is when she and Garrus take bets on kill count. You walk in and thank them for being there with you, even when nobody else believed in you. Tali: "We'll finish this the way we started it... together." Garrus: "Damn right." No shame in feelings man, everyone in this comment section was here for a reason.
It's 2020, and I still come to this video to remember the most incredible game of my lifetime. Thank you for putting these tracks together to relive the emotions of this wonderful masterpiece. Never Forget.
"War is long, brutal, unpleasant, and treacherous. Those who travel this path will find that it will get worse before it gets better. Very few have the courage to push on despite the misery, but those who do, will also learn that through the path of Hell, Heaven lies at the end of their journey and that their sacrifice was not in vain." Hat's off to you, Normandy Crew. It was an honor and privilege to serve with you. I love you, Tali.
I'm guessing you didn't choose the Geth then... I did... Every damn time! I cannot lose Legion... Fucking legend!! And Tali to me was... An adequate team member haha
Indeedthis isaname No I chose both, make the right decisions in both ME2 & ME3 and you never have to choose between Tali and Legion. Legion dies regardless anyway. might as well let him die a hero. Also I got to keep my girl friend so it was a win/win and, "it was totally worth it".
Nickallsopp92 Yeah, I know, but still, I didn't like the quarians anyway so... I'd rather they all died, get to watch some beautiful mass-genocide. My girls went Liara in ME1 since she was lovely then, then Miranda in ME2 despite having literally all the DLC, so I could've chose Liara but she a dick for the most of it, then back to Liara in ME3 because... She's fucking (haven't said this in years) mint!
Indeedthis isaname "some beautiful mass-genocide"? That's fucked up dude. That alone tells me that your last person I'd want watching my back in battle. I agree, the Quarians on the admiralty board were annoying, and their vision of the geth was skewed over the last three centuries. But that doesn't mean their species deserve to die en mass. Wars are caused over misunderstandings, and that's what this war was. A misunderstanding. You're lucky Liara took you back, had it happened in real life, I bet she would've drop kicked your ass and finished you off with a series of emotional biotic bitch slaps. :)
Oh god, I'm just thinking about Thane, he was like a father figure to me and a dad (mine is kind of a shit dad) and watching Thane be stabbed by that damn assassin made me cry so hard.. It was so sad and hard to see, I did cry a lot though.. And Mordins death.. It still makes me want to cry just thinking about it, his death was so heroic and sad all at once.. Goodbye Mordin, Wrex, Thane, Samara, and Kaiden.. You guys won't be forgotten, you guys will always have a special place in my heart
EDI's on the wall? You chose destroy then. It's funny really, everyone sees another ending as the only good one, while the other endings seem bad. Finally a game where there is no "good" or "bad" ending, it all just comes down to personal opinion, and their Shepard.
***** Really, is there a neutral ending on control? Well about paragon control. Imo the reapers don't have to be too involved in galactic politics or conflicts only then when warring parties are going to blow themselves to extinction. The renegade control will cause big problems on the long run and I wouldn't personally pick control as a renegade. Yeah TIM was indoctrinated in the end which is sad kind of, but he was right.
In my opinion, every kind of control is bad. The Control ending seems to me like we didn't do much. What else could the Reapers do than continue harvest of not synthesis? The Leviatans were right in one thing, if the Reapers don't end civilizations, they'll end themselves. If the Reapers will now act as the peacekeepers of the galaxy, it'll not last long, even with Shepard in control. What if this has all happened once before, the Crucible, and the hero of that era chose Control? If that would be the case, then you see what that acomplished. This is how I see the endings: Control continues the cycle. Destroy restarts the cycle, because who knows how long it'll take until someone recreates the Reapers again. People seem to chose this only because Shepard survives, but they have to realize that a sacrifice is needed, the biggest one. If Shepard survives, it'll be like getting something for nothing, so the goal was never truly reached. But only Synthesis can break the cycle and make sure that at least one reason for civilizations falling is no more, and the Reapers can actually live in peace with everyone, sharing the knowledge of the harvested civilizations. People don't seem to like this one because you're choosing for the whole galaxy, and it is not your place to do so. But I'd still choose it over the other endings any day. Then there is the "Don't use the Crucible" ending, and I think it's for those who think the Reapers are better left the way they are. Because, in a way, they're needed. That's how I see it anyway. Others WLL disagree with me, but that's the point afterall. Mass Effect truly couldn't have gotten a better ending, how sad it's blocked off by DLCs, but I'm glad we at least have that.
+Danislav zagi The fact that people are still arguing about the "best" ending years after the release shows why the game is so adorable. There is no "right"way", there's only "your way" and that makes it even more fantastic.
Let's not forget those who sacrificed everything to end this bloody war. Those who fought when the odds were completely against them in every way, shape and form. Those who always fought for the Survival of the galaxy. Legion... Thane... Anderson... Williams... Alenko... Mordin... And The Commander of the Normandy. Shepard... Who always fought against suicidal odds, let us never forget these people who secured our future today...
Got Mass Effect 2 at age thirteen back in 2010 when it came out. Never did I imagine how huge of a role it would play in my life. No joke, Mordin Solus inspired me in more ways than I thought possible. Though I'm now halfway through my undergraduate degree and not nearly as naïve, I still credit Mordin and the whole ME trilogy to why I'm on the path I am now (which is being a doctor or a geneticist). I rarely have time for video games anymore, but when I do, I'm obviously continuing my run-through's of this trilogy. That being said, I will invest in one of the new consoles solely for the ability to play future Mass Effect games that are released. Aside from all of that, the music to the trilogy has always been and always will be the best.
The greatest game saga ever....I'm here to tell you I cried in every game as some point. I was on the edge of my seat and had many butterflies in my stomach moments. Sometimes I never want to stop playing it, My Fem Shep and Liara were together until the very end. Thank you Mass Effect for being such a great game and thank the makers as well, without them it wouldn't be possible.
Sascha Greve God I'm gonna start bawling my eyes out again. Thane...you died like a freaking boss! But your last wish was for my fem Shepard. And Mordin...god MORDIN...hrgn. I have feels now. thanks QQ good game but so many good people died...
Words cannot explain how dearly I hold the Mass Effect franchise to my heart, being the pinnacle game and story joy of my childhood. Thank you, Bioware for the amazing journey and for whatever is to come. And thank you to the creator of this emotional sweet; it lives up to the name.
honestly this is the only game that provided me such emotions and honestly this has been my favorite series in all that i played before and when i saw Shepard shooting on the core i didn't saw a man doing his job...i saw a guy sacrificing his own life for the one that he loved and protected the whole time i didn't saw a soldier i saw a friend saying his last goodbye but for avoiding to have them saying goodbye to him he's like 100 percent the best charcater in the whole game industry that we know so far "It's been a good ride"
Shepard-"You gotta get out of here" Garrus-"And you've gotta be kidding me" Shepard-"Dont argue Garrus" Garrus-"Were in this till the end" Shepard-"No matter what happens here, you know I love you, I always will" Garrus-"Shepard,I......love you too" Probably one of the saddest moments in this game for me.
I don't know why but these songs make me think what did every romance do after Shepard died. I can imagine liara crying, garrus trying to do target practice to keep his mind of it but failing, Tali not checking the engine right and starts crying herself, Jack destroying what she can, Miranda crying, Ash and Kaiden looking at a picture of Shepard by themself. Joker isn't a li but it seems like he would be drinking.
ME series is the benchmark against which all other games are measured. Some have come close but none have beaten it yet. I'm very hopeful for ME Andromeda
This song makes all of us realize, none are immortal. And one day sooner or later death claims us.But those that did an impact on our lives will go into legend and their feats written in history. For we all are soldiers.....Rest in piece Commander Shepard and Normandy crew it was an honor to fight along side such admirable men and women not afraid to fight for what's right.Your torch of courage was passed to the next generation.
now, some Years later... hear this Music... some Feeling from then come up... i never had such an emotional Game before and after ME1-3 :-) :-/ :-( :-/ :-)
I remember playing through the first Mass Effect. Romancing Liara, collecting goodies on barren planets, killing space zombies... Then I started the second game. Everything I worked for literally went up in flames. Waking up confused and unsure of who or what I am anymore. Then Jacob tells me I've been out for two years. I went on to finish the series but the first time I heard that, I had to turn the game off and walk away. I didn't pick it back up for two weeks. Once I did, I romanced Tali, led everyone through their personal missions, and didn't lose anyone on the Suicide Mission. I was a hero again. Then the Reapers invaded. Rinse and repeat; romancing Tali, saving the galaxy, and making the choice. But I tell you, that choice was so much easier to bear than Tali whispering, "I *have* a home... come back to me..." The choice was made. The galaxy was saved, though Joker may never forgive me. The quarians will have a tougher time to rehabilitate themselves to their own planet without the geth. Tali may never forgive me for forcing her to put my name on the wall... But if that last scene is any indication, I'll have my chance to apologize. Farewell and into the inevitable.
Mass Effect (series) remains to be one of my most beloved games of all time. The whole series of games was a masterpiece, made me feel so close to all the characters and so emotional throughout the entire game. Heart would race during the action hoping i'd made the right choices and that no one would die. Mass Effect is the only game to ever make me cry, no other game has done this. It makes me wonder how the new series is going to make me feel and how it will compare to the original. I hope it is just as compelling.
Playing the Legendary Edition was so worth it. I forgot how much I loved this trilogy. It had been 10 years since finishing ME3 and so much of it felt fresh. Playing back to back and spending 100+ hours in this universe was so great. I will make sure to replay it every couple of years. I just wish I could experience it for the first time again.
"Not sure if Turian heaven is the same as yours, but if this thing goes sideways and we both end up there… meet me at the bar."
And if I'm at that bar and you're not, I'll be looking down. I'll always have your back.
This is the only moment that made me sad in any video game
But sadly Shepard is at the Bar
Depends on your choices, killing the reapers endings canon with extended cut is Shepard lives, Bioware confirmed it, for those who got very emotional about not getting the happy ending with their love interest they deserved. So Shep breathing at the end gives the player to decide what happens from their, not in their head canon but from previous choices made. Shepard keeps his promise. @@Divine_Smite
I literally cried.
"God, feels like its been years since I just... Sat down."
:'( Anderson o7
Finished the LE earlier this evening and his last lines still hit just as hard. :'( "You did good, child."

I saw Shepard's name on the wall.
I cried all over again.
We lost a fictional character, and yet it was so much like losing a friend.
+Mel Thorn I...should go...and cry
+Mel Thorn I did the same at the end of the game, not only did I finish the surreal story, I also ended one that my childhood had grown up going through. And wether or not you count Shepard's chest plate breathing at the end and him not dying, or the ending you chose to be cannon is up to you. But remember that in one way he is alive and that this amazing story can still be replayed. ;)
+Mel Thorn It's the old paradox of fiction. They may be fictional but they feel as real as the people in our everyday lives.
+Mel Thorn TRUE T_T
+Mel Thorn I felt it too! T_T
I honestly don't know if the new ME game will even live up to the journey of Shepards trilogy..
"You did good son- I'm... proud of you."

It ain't got nothing on Tali's suicide scene. And I don't even like Tali.
Meet you at the bar garrus..
Robin Kuijt I liked this farewell :( :(
his goodbye was one of the saddest because he had known the time had come it was the true suicide mission.
Barnaby0014 also he accepted it, embraced it and said his final words to Shepherd.. Ugh I need to replay this again
This just made me cry so much, thank you for the memories
Who the hell is cutting all these onions?
Best times of my life were spent on that ship. It's been a good ride
The best...
Damn, that isn't just sappy, that's true. Mass effect honestly changed my life.

The worst part about fighting a war, is knowing that you can't save them all. -Commander Shepard
"The worst part about fighting a war is that unknowingly that you can,t impeach Donald Trump" Commander Sherperd
Part of the journeys the end at least for now
Exactly, when i was playing the the game,, it feels so real.
1. Listen to that masterpiece.
2. Try not to cry.
3. Cry a lot.
4. Reinstall and play the trilogy for the 10th time and always end up making identical choices.
Greatest game series I've ever played. Never before have I gotten so emotional playing a video game as in the Mass Effect series, especially the third.
Same here, my friend. Same here.
Saying goodbye to Liara at the forward Earth base just before the end...ffffuuuuuuu....that killed me. I've never been so emotionally attached to a game and its' characters. I have *memories* of this game. I actually miss it.
Most emotional experience of any video game for me was letting the quarians die mfw
Yeah, I was bawling my eyes out during the end. Only one other game left me this devastated, and that's Nier.
Yeah... Mass Effect is just that. Emotional and incredible. The Walking Dead and Beyond: Two Souls made me sad too... =|
Lie down. Try not to cry. Cry a lot.

Guys watch out. There is so much edgy here you might slit your own throat.

Brian LaRoque hahaha! So true! :D
124Nightwing I know... I SO TRULY KNOW! Man what a ride Mass Effect was.
Rob Smith the best one
*little smile, last stare at Normandy before leaving*
This is poetry - other games don't bring it on every level like this one - through the *whole* series.

i just want a port to next to gen. or even *gasp* PC, just as in origin. on steam. EA really needs to see that origin is not working and just put their shit on steam.
+Rodguy Totally agree. Origin is shit.
I don't even know if i can play Mass Effect 4 now. Like for real.
the hell... original ending was open, so even still shepard couldve lived after destruction ending, at least they said they meant it that way...
Kind of depressing, in that light.
umjackd
To me, Mass Effect is the ideal future for our kind, excluding the Reapers of course. But, according to our current day scientists the speed of light, which would allow us to travel to nearby stars relatively easily, is next to impossible to attain.
***** Thanks for the positive outlook man! Just trying to spread my opinion of a near perfect future ;)
This video is... one big feel trip.
i know right! i HAVE to go play the trilogy again now. thanks OP.
Metaphix11b three years later and it still brings a tear to my eye.
The feel trip hasn’t stopped yet
The fact that Shepard's plaque doesn't have his or her first name is a tragedy. You are told to pick a first name and it literally *never* comes up. This would have been a perfect opportunity to bring it back.
Chakwas says something about losing your name after becoming a hero or something along these lines
Unreal Engine 3 doesn't support altering textures like that, IIRC.
+Ivaylo Borov didn't they say that andromeda will be the last part of mass effect?
With EA in charge I expect a lot fucking DLCs for ME4.... As long as the cash cow is going there ain't no stopping.
I hope BioWare took it's time to give us another epic space story, I'd pay a fortune for another amazing piece of work like the triology.
You left out a very important detail. Drew Karpyshyn....
This just makes me want to play through the entire Mass Effect series for the 8th time :' )
I WarHawk I me too :')
***** I've only completed the trilogy twice. I guess Im a peasant then :D
Wuzu93 Same here, though I'm currently working through my third and fourth (alternating). :P
I haven't even it finished once, so if there;s anything below a peasant, I'm that (almost done with 3)
Joshua Kapusinski WARNING: the ending sucks (though you probably already know that from all the rants on the internet). I recommend getting the extended cut if you can, as that makes it slightly more bearable.
Oh man, I can't stand to look at those names on the plate. Ashley, Legion, EDI, Thane, Shepard... Anderson...
Me neither I can't look at it... DAMN YOU 140 p
WHAT ABOUT MORDIN!?
Kaidan should be up there, not Ash.

JAJAJAJAJAJJAJAJAJJAJAJA you killed me with that XD
RZIBARA117 I like Kaidan more then Ash. I always let her die. Kaidan was with Shepard longer then Ash so he should stay since since he was part of the crew before her.
Strange how can we develop such love for all those fictional characters. I know Andromeda will be a great game, but hearing this, playing Citadel, along with so many other things makes me realize: There will NEVER again exist such an amazing family like the original Mass Effect trilogy family. Ever.
I will not cry....... Yes I will
hey, what's up ? ^_^
Felipe Gabriel andromeda sucks
Commander John Shepard a big Krogan Quad.
Andromeda turned out to be ummm an.... average game.
+Bradley Carter Yep, the music on the menu when I first started set the stage. I still listen to the soundtrack while doing homework with it.
The me1 credits music is awesome
I listen to the sound track of all 3 games while writing reports ect... it never gets old.
The Feels on the bus go round and round...
lol
the mass effect trilogy summed up in 9 words right there mate
lol
You did good son....I'm proud of you....
And here I'm still waiting for Project Lazarus 2
ME3 was going so well for me... Then I got to the final assault. Seeing Garrrus die in that explosion destroyed me. I literally put down my controller, went downstairs and cried into my mum's shoulder I was that upset. I felt as if I lost a family member it was that bad! To this day I think about it every night.
I owe you a drink...space sniper. :(
+MLP sun god Sacrifice damn....I feel u bro... :'(
+Rabih Chatila still haven't recovered :(
+MLP sun god Sacrifice garrus is with us.
always.
+MLP sun god Sacrifice. I feel ya bro. I lost almost everyone in that final assault. Loosing Garrus was the hardest part.
Never forget
Cheers brother
Amazing how a sci-fi game can make you tear up and wish they lived

And now ME4 has been teased
@@dirk903 Yeah this comment aged Well lol. Can't wait dude
Is it sad that I have completed this entire trilogy over 10 times in the exact same way?
ME1 -> Paragon Male Shep No Romance
ME2 -> Paragon Tali Romance
Me3 -> Paragon Destroy Ending just to be with Tali
And even though Shepard takes a breath at the end of all my playthroughs, I just can't help being sad at the idea that maybe he dies and Tali won't be with him anymore.
Remember when Shepard got out from the rubble in ME1? It was so epic... That would be so cool to see it in ME3.
If you wanna do the whole thing one more time, but this time with the ending you have wanted all that time, try a mod called MEHEM / Mass Effect : Happy Ending Mod.
That mod made this Talimancer a very happy man and I think it will do the same for ya. :)
same, I attempted to get as many variables endings from all games, have easily at least 20 Shepard.... all the same bloody name,-_- all romanced Garrus and all paragon -__ just different backgrounds were my intent was to be different but it never happened :(
"You did it... I'm... proud of you."
Sleep fast and well and with eternal peace, Admiral David Anderson
"No matter what happens... Know that I love you. Always."
May 14th is gonna wreck me all over again
Ironic. The anniversary of me and my ex girlfriend - and the last thing I said to her.

Heroes never die, there just missing in action...

what's sad, is I bet most don't know where that phrase came from... decades before HALO.
wrong game, but somewhat relevant to a high EMS destroy ending
@@VidimusWolf Nice! One of my nephews wrote music for Mass Effect 3, so I should definitely try that one. Thank you for the encouragement 😊

I just wanna cry listening to this, because i love the trilogy. Thank you for creating it.
Mass Effects music has some of the greatest, most emotional compositions in any medium. Made all the better by getting to actively experience it all through some of the most amazing gaming moments ever realized.
ya i'd say the only series that beats mass effect from a music standpoint is halo, even that is questionable

@CharmCitysKing thoughts on the ending/s
I love you, I love the Mass Effect Trilogy.
Now I can die peacefully......
God this music is so perfect regardless of what the ending is like to most, it still fits this game perfectly
With the extended cut I feel that the endings are a bittersweet end to the trilogy, only now it's a well done ending.
The memorial wall. I hope you're looking down on me from that bar. You won't be waiting long.
*salutes*
This is the only game that took me on an emotional rolercoster... It's hard to listen to this and not remember the entire trilogy... and just want to relive it for 1 more time. Oh I couldn't sleep the day I finished the trology. Now I saw development fotage of the opcoming ME and hope that they won't forget what we went through...
I cry every time....Shepard didn't deserve to die....he/she deserved a lot more....
Agreed. Mass Effect Trilogy, Last of Us(and Left Behind DLC) and the Metal Gear Solid Saga are the top 3 for me when it comes to feels

Tali: "We'll finish this the way we started it... together."
Garrus: "Damn right."
No shame in feelings man, everyone in this comment section was here for a reason.
Very few have the courage to push on despite the misery, but those who do, will also learn that through the path of Hell, Heaven lies at the end of their journey and that their sacrifice was not in vain."
Hat's off to you, Normandy Crew. It was an honor and privilege to serve with you.
I love you, Tali.
well said my friend
Keelah se'lai
I'm guessing you didn't choose the Geth then... I did... Every damn time!
I cannot lose Legion... Fucking legend!! And Tali to me was... An adequate team member haha
Indeedthis isaname No I chose both, make the right decisions in both ME2 & ME3 and you never have to choose between Tali and Legion. Legion dies regardless anyway. might as well let him die a hero.
Also I got to keep my girl friend so it was a win/win and, "it was totally worth it".
Nickallsopp92
Yeah, I know, but still, I didn't like the quarians anyway so...
So many years has passed and still it breaks me down.
The first time i've ever felt like i belonged to somewhere. Thank you BW & CDPR for Mass Effect & Witcher.
+MrLazyKim :') yeah bro know how u felt...
For me it's Mass Effect, Dragon Age and The Witcher.
@@shirshojyoti3472 But only DA:O and maybe 2 :)
This game clearly didn't receive the popularity it deserves.
Yeah, it's kinda a narrow fanbase for these games. But those of us who follow it will love this series until we die. At least I will.
***** ME TOO!!! High five! *oops I'm dead now*
Those that have played it... lived it... we understand.
You guys gotta read the fan fiction For Tomorrow We Die www.fanfiction.net/s/6604741/1/For-Tomorrow-We-Die
... It's a worthy extension of the story
That's a good thing. I wouldn't want it to blow up the way The Witcher 3 did, that's no fun.
It's been a good ride.
The best.
.... the best.
Just finished the legendary Edition for the first time in my life. Shame I missed out on this great story the first time. Loved every single minute.
Worst part was, I knew how and when Mordin and Thane were going to die.. And that made it 1000 times worse
I say this because they are the ones that died for me
+Thetruegamer I feel your pain, my biggest upset was when the game was over.
lol it always had to be kaiden. Ashley ftw
chuck long
yeah... Kaiden sucks lol
EDI's on the wall? You chose destroy then. It's funny really, everyone sees another ending as the only good one, while the other endings seem bad. Finally a game where there is no "good" or "bad" ending, it all just comes down to personal opinion, and their Shepard.
And then you realize that control is the right solution...
Yes, I didn't mean to imply that control is "the right" solution. It's good that there are many endings giving everyone something they want.
This is how I see the endings:
Control continues the cycle.
*salutes* We shall never forget.
I can't look! Mordin is on the list. :'(
so are thane and legion
Sascha Greve I know! It's so sad!!! Thane is my favorite.
Sascha Greve
God I'm gonna start bawling my eyes out again. Thane...you died like a freaking boss! But your last wish was for my fem Shepard. And Mordin...god MORDIN...hrgn. I have feels now. thanks QQ good game but so many good people died...
You know, it may sounds weird. But Garrus and Liara + me are my team. Forever. :')
+findusuli That was my team too! High 5!
Same X3
You have made very good choices :33
I'll miss them in Andromeda ... V_V
Maybe i will meet one of Shepard's children, since i fucked Liara, Asarii live up to 1000 years xD
David's theme from Overlord gets me right in the feels every damn time.
Whoever you are, thank you. This is beautifully put together.
28.10.2020, 2021 is nye, I still remember and love this trilogy, such masterpiece must never be forgotten
Words cannot explain how dearly I hold the Mass Effect franchise to my heart, being the pinnacle game and story joy of my childhood. Thank you, Bioware for the amazing journey and for whatever is to come. And thank you to the creator of this emotional sweet; it lives up to the name.
This hurt in a spot that hasn't been hurt in awhile....
honestly this is the only game that provided me such emotions and honestly this has been my favorite series in all that i played before and when i saw Shepard shooting on the core i didn't saw a man doing his job...i saw a guy sacrificing his own life for the one that he loved and protected the whole time i didn't saw a soldier i saw a friend saying his last goodbye but for avoiding to have them saying goodbye to him he's like 100 percent the best charcater in the whole game industry that we know so far
"It's been a good ride"
"The best..."
Shepard-"You gotta get out of here"
Garrus-"And you've gotta be kidding me"
Shepard-"Dont argue Garrus"
Garrus-"Were in this till the end"
Shepard-"No matter what happens here, you know I love you, I always will"
Garrus-"Shepard,I......love you too"
Probably one of the saddest moments in this game for me.
I dont know why... but I just assumed it was male Shepard. "Garrus am i your dirty little secret?"
lmao, na I played femshep cause the voice acting was better in ME1 and ME2 than male shep.
Admit it... it was male shep. we'll bang ok?
@@thelostsparten Male shep ALL THE WAY
I don't know why but these songs make me think what did every romance do after Shepard died.
We’re going back home to one of the best sci-fi trilogies in gaming
ME series is the benchmark against which all other games are measured. Some have come close but none have beaten it yet. I'm very hopeful for ME Andromeda
That last line didn't age well did it...
But I tell you, that choice was so much easier to bear than Tali whispering, "I *have* a home... come back to me..."
The choice was made. The galaxy was saved, though Joker may never forgive me. The quarians will have a tougher time to rehabilitate themselves to their own planet without the geth. Tali may never forgive me for forcing her to put my name on the wall...
But if that last scene is any indication, I'll have my chance to apologize.
Farewell and into the inevitable.
it may be sad, but I really liked the ending with a father telling his son about "the shephard"
Let’s be happy that we got to enjoy this masterpiece of a trilogy in our lifetime
Its not surprising most of the songs came from ME3. The game had a sad touch to it.... Still epic, and makes me want to play it again...
