Let me tell you that in the first week of use, the logo on the handle began to degrade and also the logo where you stand. The handles begin to wear out very quickly. It does not have shock absorbers so you have to be careful when using it because you can fall and the motor makes a lot of noise and every time the ground is unlevel it sounds as if the skate is going to come apart even though you have fixed the screws well. The autonomy is less than what they promise. It makes a lot of noise compared to other skates I've had. I had let these problems go, mentioned above, but what has made me stop using this skate is the customer service, it is terrible. Furthermore, the latest firmware update makes the temperature measurement very high, even if you do not feel or measure with a measuring device. This will cause your skate to be locked through firmware at a maximum speed of 10km/h, which I prefer to walk and is very dangerous if there are cars near you. I contacted customer service and they just want me to send the 14kg skate to a repair center very far from where I live (High cost) to change the battery, when in reality that is not the problem because the day before the update From the firmware everything works fine and now multiple people have the same problem and those at SEGWAY turn a blind eye. I don't own one, but it looks like the best way to lock it up is around the angled part on the front of the deck. So either a U-Lock or a small enough chain/cable to fit between the top of the front fender and the bottom of that angled part of the deck - Ideally with little space in-between, so someone can't just slide the lock setup all the way across the deck and into the back tire area. Interesting! Thanks for the feedback
My point being that I that these have tubeless tires and Segway is a company that would actually support this product long term
I had to double check that I wasn’t on the wrong channel, sure sounds like RK9 rides :)
It sure is! Thanks for stopping by. -Vosk
Mitchell still has his own channel, but he's a permanent part of Rider Guide as well! -Paul
Would you have any recommendations for physical locks for the E2 Plus model? I have seen some that go through the tyres for other Segway models but not sure if the back tyre on the E2 Plus has enough room to feed through a lock? I'm thinking of an ETook lock
Locks is a very very short term solution
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide understand that totally but just looking for any decent recommendations that do fit this particular model well
It travels at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour. Is there a way to increase it?
Unfortunately not!

Como ativa o modo esportivo da E2 ?
Check the included manual!
Double tap power button idiota 😂
Hey I just got this scooter, it’s my first e scooter and I love it so far. Can you explain the different modes and what exactly is the pedestrian mode. Thank you
Pedestrian mode is when you have to walk the scooter!
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Thank you, also do you know if any phone mounts work with this scooter? I’ve gone through 2 and neither fit. Does the official Segway mount work? Doesn’t seem like there’s any space near the handle bar
Hey is it possible to lower the handlebars to the height i like or is that not possible?
Not for this one!
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
Oh how tall do you have to be to properly reach the handle bars?
Hello! Great Review, which one would you recommend between de E2 Plus and the Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter 3? Im 160cm 54kg, and I will use it for a simple commute and use without hills.
E2 plus!
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Why E2 Plus? What's the diffrence? Because I am also thinking about buying electric scooter and I can't choose between Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter 3 and E2 Plus
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide i'm curious to know why too!
Hello, I have a question if you are 190, are you too tall for the scotter?
You should be okay!
How tall do you have to be to properly ride and reach the handle bars?
Probably around 5 feet
Alr thx
Jow easy is it to carry aroynd. Ive seen students on my campus with ut ok their abckpack but jot sure this is the one they were carrying because of how big it is
Very light and easy to carry around!
I just got mine, but things didn't go well. During the first ride ,it lost power suddenly, and reported to the official and they wanted me to disassemble it to check the wire. I search and search still don't know how to do it. And also wonder why as a customer found out something wrong from the first ride has to figure out how to disassemble it. Feel angry and sad at the same time. Can anyone help me?😢
I bought an E2.
Call Segway and they will surely assist you
How take off the sound
Which sound ?
Hey i got the e2 plus yesterday but i tested it it world Amazing but the other dag it just let me see black screen the back light just go on
Thanks for the update!
I’m planning to get this as my first e-scooter but i live in DC and although my commute is just 1 mile each way to work, it’s mostly up and downhill. I weigh 95 lbs. I wouldn’t mind it being slow uphill but would it still be faster than walking when it’s uphill or is it something i have to push then?
It’s a good starter scooter for sure! -Vosk
I am in your exact situation, did you end up getting the scooter? Did it work well?
theres lots of hills around where i live but they are not too steep (just one of those you could occasionally find in a city). do you think e2 plus will do for these hills or should i go beyond my budget for a better hill-climbing scooter? is e2 plus horribly bad at hill climbing?
Would not do well on hills!
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide thanks for replying!! what about segway ninbot max?
I am in Vancouver. I bought it last weekend. I've already regretted it. But it's ok if your commiting distance is not far .😢
@@freddiekwan3899 i live in van too! i actually decided not to get this one but instead i got ninebot g30lp which does an insane job of hill climbing
One design fault. If you accidentally drop the handlebars stem down to clip onto the hook on the rear mudguard, the hook can drive itself into the control panel and can wreck it just like it did to mine??? How do I get a new control panel??
Contact Segway! They should help with that.
Is this okay for adults to ride ? I am about 85 kilos and 6 foot
Yes you should be fine
I just bought a e2 is there any methods to male it faster?
Not currently!
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide and how much time do you tink It can take to insert the model in xiaoflasher
How is better e2 plus or f30e ?
E2 PLUS!
I've seen "D" series Segway being sold here in Indonesian market for some time now. Also a low cost scooter. No reviews for these?
Not currently! -Vosk
What about the modes and how fast do they go
Check the review!
Does anyone know how can i make my E2 pro move from 15km/h to its max speed? Help
Double press the button on the screen to switch modes
This was 1 year ago but I hope anyone replies. How much percent sale does this get off during black Friday or Boxing Day be persice witch one you are answering please cause I am trying to split the price with me dad please answer!
Depends on the retailer!
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide I’m think of buying it this Friday and I’m 14 just wanted to know if it would be safe for me to ride
please can you review the E2 pro
We will take a look thank you
At 0:43 that drill beat was 🔥🔥🔥
Did u try the speedway 4?
We have not tried that one yet! -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Could you do a review on it?
Battery near 10 000 Mah or near 6000 Mah. ?
It’s in the video!
Is there a hack to get more speed out of this model ? Reason I ask I’ve just purchased without doing my homework and I’m 120kg which means speed is slow and won’t even climb a slight incline 🤷🏽♂️
We are not aware of any hacks currently!
Novità per lo sblocco velocità?
Will this kill my 6\7 year old son? Do you think it would be too much?
Depends on his capabilities
Im 5'3 is that alright for the scooter?
You should be fine
And for me at 6'3?
@@Soũl_7678yes definitely
Is this ok for a 10year old to ride comfortably?
That’s a great question.
I have a 10 year old and he could definitely ride it, though the bars would be taller than ideal. Segway also makes kids scooters that would be a better fit for now. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide thank you, ordered the c2pro instead?
The scooter is cool, but it is too slow at 12.5mph. I would rather ride at 15-20mph
15-20 is better for sure!
Segway has the ES2 refurbished at the same price as this E2. Which one do you think is better?
We would take the E2 Plus! A little more expensive but worth it. Link in description . -Vosk
Isnt the G3 Plus only $50 more than the E2 not $100?
Looks like it’s $50! Noted. -Vosk
How about xiomi m365
Not available in the US for about 2.5 years now. :-( -Paul
Poor hill climbing also for the E2 Plus?
Not good for hills!
Why does mine go 15 km/h only ?
Might be limited
How tall are you?
6-2
I want a scooter I live in Canada I was thing about the g4 but I also seen the niu iq3 max and pro as well as Segway hiboy s2 pro and more whats your recommended and yes this is a second txt about this idk which one is the best money isn't to big a problem about these which one out of your guys experience is the best I was thinking g4 but then seen the niu iq3 max but heard some problems they can have sometimes what would you recommend out of these max I can spend is equivalent to 900 usd
I would like atleast 20mph good range but also with good build quality things like dual motors and suspensions I don't care about since not many hills here or off road and of course be able to ship to Canada from Amazon or such becouse I know lots of the websites don't ship to Canada
Check out the Apollo Air! They are in Canada and a solid company.

What happened to Chuck Temple? Been a subscriber since 2019 and just getting back on to see what’s new and haven’t seen him in any of the videos
He is pursuing other interests. Including teaching a college course. -Vosk
Ninebot e2 plus doesnt have any ambient lightning
It’s the cheaper model!
My first e-scooter.
Not very happy with it : heavy, no suspension, cumbersome and not very powerful. Plus, if you hold accelerate before kicked it, the motor will not start and you have to stop than kick it to start it.
This is a cheap starter scooter and does have many of the things the mid tier scooters do have. -Vosk
You can reduce the kick speed in the app
7:46 where im from my college are assholes they don't let me bring my scooter in because there illegal its so stupid
