The simple answer is that there is no set duration. I think it's best to live under the assumption that they will never come back, that way it helps you shift your focus on your healing journey. If they don't come back, you won't be surprised. If they do, then you go from there.
Nah man, my ex doesn't have any emotions or feelings. 3 months NC & I know for a fact she couldn't give a crap about me, even during the relationship she didn't care about my feelings or show any real respect. She is one cold shell of a human & I feel for the next unfortunate man that cross's paths with her.
100000%, everyone is different when it comes to this. That’s why it’s so important for to focus on your healing journey rather then trying to wait for them to come back! (If they even will)
Hello , I please need some advice Thank you learning a lot from you I please have a quick question I gave distance due to disrespect the first 2 days he called but I was still upset so I turned him away and he ghosted me for 3 weeks. So I wrote him a nice letter to called the relationship off and he answered and wish me the best. So I told him I needed to get my belongings. I asked him to let me Know his availability. He asked me about my new boyfriend so I told him, that was not my interest at the time. I told him that I excited being single again. I am still waiting for him to let me know when to come my belongings.
During these 2 months did you try and contact him/her? I keep breaking no contact which starts my time all over again and for him it has been 1 week now since he ghosted me. I call his phone and it rings so he didn’t block me just yet if at all. So that let’s me know he just want space and he trying to see will I chase him. So I’m not chasing him and he should be in a panic mode sooner than later. If 1 month pass and he still doing no contact, ima just forget about him and happily focus on my 6 figure career I will have after graduation 👩🎓 in May 2025 🎉!!!
Nobody should be playing these female games in the first place. If a woman tells you she needs space or doesn’t want to get back together, you oblige her and let her go and move on. When you take the trash down to the curb, the last thing you want is your neighbors to see you rummaging through the trash the next day.

No contact should last forever. They broke up with you, they will do it again.
