I currently have an RS 275 Trophy, I daily drive in sport mode with maximum throttle response, it's a very fun and nimble car. My second favourite car to drive after my R32 Gts-t Skyline (2.0L turbo as well, but inline 6 cyl and RWD instead of FWD). The Megane is a much better drivers car than the Focus ST I used to have, though the Volvo 5 pot in that thing did sound amazing!
The Clio RS comes in EDC Auto so its more daily-able i.e if your commute involves getting stuck in traffic everyday but the Megane MK3 only comes in Manual if you're okay to drive manual everyday. The suspension for me is perfectly fine for daily, I would personally go for the Megane RS250/265. I would suggest you test drive both and see which one you love more. Welcome to the RS Club!
Hi Ming Jun, The MK3 has been around since 2010, i've spoken with a many owners and they've all mentioned that its very reliable and easy to maintain, not hard on the wallet but of course when buying used cars always check condition and do a Pre-purchase inspection. I owned a MK4 Megane RS280 and its been reliable so far I recommended driving Mk3 so you can experience for yourself.
