I agree. I guess I should have mentioned that for those who havent changed plugs in awhile. Mine are less than a year old so I didnt replace for that reason.
Love the video brother. Followed your winch install for the control box. Did things a little different but came out with awesome results. Thankfully my bumper had tons of clearance for the clutch release so she's in and good to go.
@@Awesomoto yeah I felt the same but there are others out there so definitely built the confidence. Next fun project is the diff lock actuator seals and rear drive shaft seals on the center diff. I still haven't worked the courage up to pull the headers off to get rid of the exhaust leaks. That one seems daunting.
Thanks man! I’m glad to hear that feedback as my GX could always use more maintenance done. They’re less interesting than the mod videos, but definitely useful for fellow high mileage GX owners.
@@GD3tyrone You sir are lucky then! It’s honestly not the worst job to do and was much easier than other vehicles I’ve done. If you ever see oil under your parked GX, I’d give the valve cover a quick check. Fingers crossed you don’t have any issues with it. 🤞🏻
What a coincidence, I just got mine replaced about a month ago, I have about 120,000 miles on my GX. Great video !!
Thanks Walter!
This would also be a good time to replace your spark plugs and put some 12 hole injectors on it.

these videos help and also keep me accountable because my VCGs are leaking bad too and i’ve been lazy 😂 great vid!
I’m glad to keep you accountable. I too needed it because I waited a few months with this leaking 😂

That’s awesome you followed the winch video! That was a fun one for me, but also a little unsettling tearing apart a brand new winch lol

Another great video and tips!!!
Thanks Scott!
Another awesome video!!!! Youre the man!!!
Thank you!🤘🏼
I like the maintenance videos. 🤙🏾

great vid as always!
Thanks Tyrone! 🙏🏻
@@Awesomoto im luck at the moment my GX doesn't need that, I did just have the timing belt and water pump done though.

@@Awesomoto yeah, I'll be on the lookout for sure.
Great video! What year is your GX470? Is it VVTI or non VVTi?
I have a 2005 GX, so it is VVTI.
This is exactly what I needed! Thanks for posting.
Of course! I’m glad this helped you out!
Keep up the good work. I'm about to do this same job.
Thank you! Please reach out when you do the install and let me know if you have questions.
