Its good to see the snakes in this way . I appreciate how you didn't disturb them.
My mom was a herpetologist. She collected reptiles for National Geographic Magazine photos. She would have absolutely loved you guys. My childhood was filled with reptiles, amphibians and insects. I still don't care for them myself. And that was the biggest wasp I've ever seen.
I would leave the state if I saw that many snakes anywhere.
We’ll just don’t look around and you can live in bliss
Linda me too
That's paradise for me 😁
Wow thats primeval, that pile of Copperheads, it's like going back a 100 years ago. In my opinion seeing that many snakes in one area, is one of the best things you can see in the entire animal kingdom. It also demonstrates that the biodiversity is top notch where you have been herping in that particular part of the mountains. I notice the Timber Rattle snakes are darker in the mountains than in the lowlands, I suppose that is so they can absorb the sun quicker to heat to their ideal temperature of around 85f I guess.
Regular event in southern Indiana.
It’s normal for snakes to group like this!?!
@@christophercastillo6022 I am from the UK it was normal for snakes to group like that, but now days there are so few your lucky to find one or two at most.
I’m from England and I’ve never seen one snake in the wild!! Let alone a pile of venomous snakes!!
@@mrkipling2201 I once saw 30 adders in two hours near Eastbourne April 1976.
That blue crayfish was a very rare finding, I’m surprised you weren’t more excited to see that. That’s a 1 in 10,000 sighting right there!
Enjoy this time of your life young man. Doing something you love with good friends, it doesn't get any better than that.
I love these Mountain Rattlesnake/Copperhead watching videos of yours. Timbers, both Canes and Montane phases, are probably my favorite snakes. That last Timber you found was on par with that living landmine you found in the early spring in my opinion.
Looks like a dangerous place to hike!! Great video..
I learn so much from these videos and I live in florida so it's cool seeing all these snakes i've got!
damn so many snakes. brave guys. i would be running
What a wonderful video! I love seeing so many snakes!
Wow you guys are quite the hunters; thanks for the share! Extremely cool !
You know it's a good herping day when the snakes are in 'piles' .. a herd of deer, a flock of birds, a pile of snakes.
Keep up the amazing work! ❤️🔥
I'm watching this on New Years Eve and am dreaming of hearing the summer night critters again soon.
Very productive video guys loved it hopefully it stays like that keep on keeping on
We used to get Timbers piled up on our porch in the morning to bask in the early morning sun. We learned real quick you better look before leaping out on the porch lol.
Hey man! Really enjoy this channel. Me and my boys watch it all the time. It inspires them to go outside and hunt. Also thanks for keeping the language clean!
Nice content Noah brings me back to my helping days...
Much respect for not bothering the snakes in their primal settings! Too many videos where the individual will prod and poke just to get them aroused! Here in NC down in the Uwharrie National Park just below Denton NC off of Hwy 109 there are many rattlesnakes! You may want to give this place a try!
That view - WOW!
I live in Robbinsville my hole life and watching your RUclips videos I’ve learned so much more about snakes Thank you 🙏
Lake Santeetlah!!!
NC?
Yes Robbinsville NC god country
Wonderful video, and oddly, very relaxing to watch.
Copperpalooza! Great stuff.
holy copperheads! that’s wild!
The cray fish finds were awesome
Wow so many copperheads just congregating together !
Dude I remember when you had like 600 subs, glad to see your stuff blowing up. Keep it up!
Years ago we were hiking up on Fort Mountain and my young son went off the trail to walk on some of the outcroppings. When we came back down the same part of trail, just a minute later, all the gravel slipped out from under my shoe and I fell down because there was a huge timber rattler on his way across the trail. My son must’ve rustled him out, and he on the move. He turned and looked at me as he was moving, but just kept going on his way. Gorgeous coloration and markings and ombre. Still thankful to this day that my son didn’t startle or step on him though.
Many years ago, I ran across a copperhead den in N GA. There were about 30-40 outside the crevice in the springtime sun. Came back the next day and caught the largest for the biology prof, as he said he wanted one for display. I dropped the pillowcase on his desk and he nearly jumped out the window, screaming that he didn't mean a live one !
.
I'm moving to Florida your videos are good and educating people about snakes
Are you moving to the panhandle, Northeast, Central or South? Lot's of snakes anywhere really.
South
Beautiful mountains
Southern Appalachia is beautiful
So many copperheads! Guess I probably shouldn't be taking my dog on hikes in N GA any time soon.
Love it
Georgia is loaded with copperheads and timber rattlers. Kinda spooky since I am out there walking around often. Always looking for snakes to avoid them.
Woah! That sculpin looks like a fresh water stingray!
You guys are really ruffing it eating those huge steaks on the grill.😊 Thanks for sharing your videos. I really enjoy them and appreciate the way you respect the animal and the habitat.
Wow that’s beautiful rattlesnake
Dang those mountains though
OMG !!!!!! ALL THOSE COPPERHEADS !!!!! I HAD HEARD THAT GEORGIA IS FULL OF THEM
Awesome video man - that one was not lacking snakes lol - great job
I saw a rattlesnake one day sitting on a bank on the side of a dirt road in the sun with snow on the ground! First and only time I have ever seen a rattlesnake out in the snow!
cant even lie that find was just for you!
Beautiful area
so cool
Can you imagine stepping in that pile of Copperheads by accident?!! Mercy
Good times 👍
Excellent Video,s Guy,s! I live up here in the Pocono Mountain,s of Pa. One year while logging the wood's at the logging camp I drove a log Truck where they were putting in a new highway well it was winter time with about a foot of Snow on the ground the driver running a Franklin Timber Jack hooked on to a tree stump and yanked the stump out. Well when he ripped out a nice size tree stump there it was must have been a million Garden Snakes and they were all stuck together the guys lit a fire and when they got warmed up they were slithering everywhere guys were throwing em at each other and finally they burnt the stump the -2 degrees weather killed most of em but what a sight never seen snake,s alive in the winter under a tree stump 5 ft.
good job bros
I am a big fan of collabs, that would be cool to see a collab with you and Kamp Kenan and you and Zak Catchem!
Remind me to never camp where you were, that's a ton of venomous snakes in that area!
I heard that!
That is fun camping
I love watching your videos I'm from Georgia from Athens area
Wow that is a lots of snakes
I grew up in Missouri. I always associated copperheads with or near water, but this channel has shown me otherwise.
Maybe you were thinking of cotton mouths ?
You find lots of different snakes near water but they will be other places too.
Stay safe guys!
Do my family and I moved to Oklahoma from Northwest Georgia 4 months ago. At first we didn't see any snakes, but then the drought happened. Once that happened we had copper heads by the house every evening. They were drawn to the chickens water.
Hurricanes, flooding and droughts will c a u s e snakes to leave their normal habitat in search of food, water and shelter.
That’s a lot of copperheads lol
BEAUTIFUL Aussie... I have 4
Great video Beautiful copperheads a rattle snake also that blue crayfish is supposed to be really rare
The blue crayfish or Florida crayfish lives only in the Everglades. Since the video is from mountains in Northern Georgia the crayfish was probably in the molting phase.
woo-hoo sweet herping content. Great eyes you have. Your eyes are dialed in. I know first hand how difficult it can be
We have an abundance of copperheads here in SW Oklahoma too. They blend in too well with fall leafs
How do you even take a step with that many venomous snakes around. That would freak me TF out. Would love to see what you’re wearing on your feet. This is crazy!
I don't know if you want to. I'm sure he's wearing more for the hike, but he often just wears flip flops when herping.
I've seen cottonmouths piling up like that in the Everglades. They were all large gravid females.
The clarity of the camera 📷 smh, beautiful visual guys...
I live in Missouri and have seen a lot but my coolest was at table Rock lake thought I would go in the woods a little ways by the lake to look and I came right up to a pygmy rattlesnake it was a beautiful snake all curled up with it's rattle going awesome and a bit spooky
Here in Texas, we call those snakes clusters the bottom layer of a bonfire…
I don’t think the rest of Texas would be happy you’re lumping them in with such degenerative behavior. Most people I know from Texas are advocates for conservation of snakes 🤷
Here in Texas, we don’t accept snake-fearers as Texans. You may now consider yourself an adjacent New Mexican. One more strike, and you’ll be demoted straight to Coloradan. Do I make myself clear, Fraser?
I agree, I grew up in the woods having that many venomous snakes when you live in the woods is dangerous and they get used for target practice. Where we grew up by the time you made it to the hospital you would be on the verge of death from a snake bite. I've known several who have died in route to the hospital from rattler and copperhead bites.
@@jacqulinelitchfield5116 Sounds about wrong
You should come to lake hartwell. I've had friends try to tell me we don't have cottonmouths in upstate sc. I fish Hartwell almost everyday, lived here upstate all my life, we have quite a variety of snakes here.
You could have given the 🐝 on the flower at 16:06 an honorable mention.😂
I live in Kentucky and I snake hunt and that's some big copperheads my friend.
Thanks Again Gents!
Can you imagine how many snakes you seen but how many were there that you DIDNT SEE?!!
That salamander had the derpiest face. What the heck did they say before DERPY? That word I feel came from some type of meme in the early 2000’s. Haha.
I’m so early this time I can’t believe it! Lol. I’m usually watching Noah’s vids at least a couple hours after it posts but lately it’s been the next day. I love being able to watch and pretend I’m right along with everyone herping. Sending my love and support from the Mile High City, Colorado! 🐍
I'll be in Denver on the 30th en route to Alaska and then back in Denver on Sept 9, 10, 11 and leaving the 13th. Going back to Pike's Peak. Haven't been since I was 9 or 10 maybe. Should I drive or take the cog? I want to drive but it could be snowing I guess. We'll see. I love Colorado.
Gotta come up to NC mountains. All sorts of wildlife
That's wassup I'm in middle Georgia..I'm thinking about taking that hike one day soon..
I'm trying to figure out what butterfly showed up at the 6:45 mark. I'm thinking Silvery Checkerspot.
amazing how many copperheads are in that area
Nice ribeyes!
love the video me and my best friend caught a copperhead at church camp SAFELY and we got in trouble he is a certified snake handler so i do not know why we got in trouble.....
Maybe your friend's "snake handling certification" had expired, and he failed to renew it. Just speculating.
lol
Some southern churches don't punish snake handling .
@@KNemo1999 that sounds amazing
In! Sane!!!!!
Venomous snakes look better in the sights of a .22 😊
Pretty Country.Appalaccians.
This summer in Wilkes County GA we've had an almost biblical amount of timber rattlers and copperheads. Almost got an awesome video of a beautiful king snake about to wreck a young timber but some asshat came driving by and intentionally ran them both over.
Nice Trip! Now its time to watch LouB747 coming up next.....
Stung 4 times this summer by wasp. Last one above my left eye . 4 days of swollen face . Month later and still having to take Benadryl for itching . Hope you made it ok .
Well I guess I can never go outside again 👀
Noah you are such a cutie 💋💯🔥 I love watching your uploads!🐊 keep doing what your doing! Awesome video! 🐾💚
Stop..... just stop. This is not the place to be lusting....
Omg lot of them don’t get bit
Glad I live in Orygun.🥶
Nice man! That pile of copperheads was something I’ve never seen before! And those were some beautiful timber’s! Great day and great video!
Dude I been running around in the Georgia woods all my life and I ain't never seen more than 2 adults at a time. I got a whole lot of buddy's that run around in the woods too, hunting and fishing and ain't none of them ever seen nothing like that in GA because if they did I'd hear about it.I love finding snakes and I have looked for them just like you're doing ever since I was about 9. I'm skeptical.
🐍🔥👏
Hey I love your content! That was a hell lot of Copperheads. Where was this?
The bug on the rock is a stonefly nymph coming out to become an adult. Adults have four wings and when at rest fold them over the abdomen.
I couldn’t help but chuckle at the censoring of beer.
Hey, don’t say the B word! Kids watch this show. 😂
Death pit. as someone from a place with no snakes, my wife and daughter are always clowning me when we are on vacation and taking hikes, because I am always super cautious of where we are standing and walking. If you weren’t paying attention and stood on that pile, you would take at least 5 bites.
I was up in Kentucky and I went into this area where they had all these snakes together at I swear to you people I seen a black snake, a copperhead, and a rattlesnake laying right next to each other.
Around 3:30 thats a Stonefly larva
I found to snakes in my Florida back yard 3ft racer and a 1ft red corn snake
