I love garter snakes - it would be so cool to see garters from each state 😍🥰

FYI: I spent 14 days in West Texas 1999 and found 2 DORs. So there can be bad years. I have had more than 20 snakes in a night and 4 grey banded kingsnakes. So it is just the environment. One guy spent twenty years in the spring in West Texas and never found a grey banded kingsnake. Perseverance is the watch word.

Always enjoy your videos no matter how slow it is. Definitely enjoyed the big Copper Head and…… the Whippoorwill in the background! Brings back memories.

Thanks Noah for your effort to show us snakes and even occasional mammals that pop up. I didn't realize black racers looked so different as juveniles. The belly color was the same.

Always like seeing copperheads. Northern Ohio is devoid of any venomous snakes so it is nice to see them.

Saw my first Copperhead last week, came crawling out from under my truck right through my campsite, he or she was pretty big and beautifully marked. Luckily my 4lb dog showed some sense for once and was just eyeing it when I turned around.

I always look forward to your videos dude. I found you randomly about a year ago. Was never really into snakes other than the occasional garter snake encounter as a kid. I'm hooked now. I live in SE GA and have been hiking and cruising fairly often since early spring. Thanks for all that you do bro!

I hope things start getting better for you and the weather starts cooperating a bit better. Keep up the amazing work and be safe out there! 😄💙🐬🐊🐍

a few months ago, i commented about how scared i was to pick up a snake because of their bites and i can finally say i've picked up a little black racer, so cute!! they did give me a bite but i survived, nothing to write home about LMAO since then ive seen another racer and then some red rat snakes, we had one living in our cat cage for a couple nights before he decided to leave us, i was so sad!! thank you for giving me the courage and more specifically the knowledge to safely get snakes to where they need to be going!!
