The blend between entertainment, humour and technical content is what makes your videos great. I have used your videos in lectures, because of their technical content. The start of this video worried me, because I think you are incredibly capable in explaining complex technical concepts in an entertaining and educational manner.
Fantastic stuff! There's a Race Drivn' arcade ca b at TNMOC at Bletchley. The graphics software stuff was fascinating... and the PlayStation game looks fun. Pointless, but fun! And quality challenge too!
Really enjoying your older videos. Great visual and explanatory narration, and very good pace. I can't stand when people talk too fast to squeeze all information into 15 minutes. It makes understanding harder for us non-native English speakers.
Thanks! I'm glad you find them understandable as a non-native speaker, it's something I wasn't good at early on so it's nice to hear I've improved since then. I agree on the pace, I was watching a video the other day where someone was suggesting editing all the times you pause for breath out of your video! I get the idea of silencing them, nobody wants to hear me inhale, but we need some pauses!
I knew that Race Drivin' was more advanced, but in mame at least the force feedback doesn't feel as nice as Hard Drivin' which is a shame. Winning Run is fun once it clicks, it has better physics than Virtua Racing for sure. Try the sequels.
Dude praise be the RUclips algorithm for recommending your videos! This is the kinda content I love. Keep up the good work dude!
Same just hit my recommendations today

Excellent video with some nice commentary all throughout

Ooh, that's worth a go if I'm ever up there. The force feedback on the actual cabs is supposed to be something quite special.

Remember playing first Hard Drivin' arcade cabinet in Exeter Superbowl. Later rented the megadrive version but playing other home versions was painful
Death Rally is 3D and CGA. For PC. :D
Or was it Death Race? Anyhow, you can upgrade your car and buy weapons, last seen it running maybe 30yrs ago....
How did you resist the urge to scream "Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidge Racer!" while talking about Namco and arcade racing games?

Neat video.
