I found the pads and the ground using your trick (it was unlabelled), I’ll try to set it up with 1-wire interface but if that doesn’t fly, I’ll go with your setup -your soldering looked hard so I wanna try with less soldering using the 1-wire interface if possible… Fingers crossed! Hey just want to say thank you I got my arduino yesterday and was able to get 4 esc working again at first I kept getting a message saying check power connections but I changed the order of d2 and d3 and it worked I almost threw these esc out a while ago I'm so glad I didn't

Ok I have a couple of questions: 1) I have replaced three STM32 micros on a chinese 4in1 so they are blank and not showing up in BLHeli suite so as there are four pads on the ESC for each of the micros I’m hoping I can use your method to flash them individually. So does the micro boot loader get flashed to the chip by the Arduino or is it just the operational code? 2) Are all ESC pad configurations the same i.e gnd, nc, data, data?
i did exactly same way i didn't succeed/GND and 2 pads near.(same arduino) esc diferent have no idea what kind... but esc conected to motors and fc. maybe some advice?thank you . P.S/ there is also other pads on esc
flux is cheap! nice video, I am going to purchase some arduino nanos right now (still watching to see if this is still relevant in 2021, first) I have literally a handful of AOI whoop boards that have 1 or more motors that dont work (all happymodel AIO's)

Yes 2 of them were dys the other 2 were Diatone I ordered a replacement 30a esc from Diatone for my Gt2 and the one they sent me had no heat sink and it wouldn't recognize in blheli I sent them like 10 emails about it and they never replied what great customer support needless to say I won't be buying anything from them again
+Primo Cruz fucking a baby. All five are fixed and rocking!!!! After I used the arduino I hooked them all up to a pdb and an omnibus fc to make sure they r good. Wala perfect. They are all set. All u have to do when u use them is get into blheli suite to make sure the directions are right.

Supposed my esc code is A-H-30 for example, all 4 esc were spinning with jittering like hell, so i purposely flash my esc with other esc code such as A-G-30 (STUPID) for example, (i forgot what code that was) then now i want to revert back to my old stock, can i use this method?
Hit on everyone ,when I connect to the lipo It says Esc failed I don't get any lights on the esc .I do know that 2 of the 4 esc's are fine I did write to you explaining when I tried to flash it failed and caused the esc not to be found in blheli Just to make sure I connected the first pad to earth, I missed 2 pads soldered signal to the 4th As you say earth first one Miss a pad then d2,d3 that would make it the 4th
Great Vid! I just bought some DYS XSD 3a ESCs........one of them is giving me trouble. I get no tone out of one of them when i connect my battery....however the led on the esc is on. BLHELi does not see it at all......i will try your method....i hope it works. I hate paying money for something that doesn't fucking work!

Hey I used your Banggood link and it worked fine but they only ship from China but they have another nano board but it says it's an upgrade version of this says it has a better USB chip what ever that means do think it's ok to get that one because it ships from Us warehouse

All the other Kwadtubers are saying I need to get an FTDI FT232RL USB to TTL Serial Converter Adapter......so ordered one from Ebay store (supposedly Australian local store) and 4 weeks later still no adapter so ended up biting the bullet and got 4 new esc's. Obviously coming from china.....lots of chinese scammers claiming to be local now on ebay. Turns out that the corruption was coming from my Sirius Airhero F3 FC everytime I plugged it in passthrough mode to BLheli ......BAM!......no more bootloader. Will try to fix my bricked ones tonite using the Arduino nano. Cheers :).
Some people just makes stuff up without fully verifying it, for hobbyists generally working with RC stuffs dont need that plus it makes thing complicated. But the cool part is, arduino nano already comes with a built in FT232 (FTDI) interface, u can see the FT232 IC underneath board. So u buy one and get two or even more :3 besides, being embedded in an arduino makes it easier to install drivers in windows and stuffs. However, its been a year since this comment, we are in the future now! flashing blheli with FC pass-through and stuff. Still, sometimes it may come in handy, just like i needed tp do on a 4in1 blheli 32 couple weeks back; as the bootloader was too jammed up and needed a harder push i guess
