thanks for the video , i have a ZMR blheli 50A ESC and got stuck in the bidirectional mode, which disabled the programming mode, i followed the video but the ESC is not recognized by the BLHeliSuite nor BLHeliSuite32 .. how can i exit this bidirectional mode and make it forward ?
Is there any way to control the motor with arduino interface ? I have just the motor + blheli_s 30A + arduino . I can flash but I don't know how to test the motor .
@@ColtonCampbell Thanks for the answer . Yes I have a 12Volt power supply hooked to Blheli_s , and I was able to write configuration to Blheli_s with arduino when the power supply was connected. What I want is to run the motor.

Hello Colton, I want to flash the firmware to the DYS 30A ESC, for this they have used Simon K firmware but I didn't found in target ESC option in BL Heli suite 16, how can I flash the firmware to DYS 30A ESC
hey nice tutorial, just one question .. i have a blheli_s 4 esc board and i want to flash / use it with arduino nano .. how can i do that .. ? the blheli_s board has 4 signal pins btw, just like the normal single esc, so i thought maybe do it like that? help pls
Unless you have a board with 4 ESCs on it there is only 1 signal pin and it is usually a thin white wire. The other 3 are power and ground for connecting it to a power supply (usually battery) - these would be the slightly thicker wires and the last one is another ground for connecting to the microcontroller GND
@@theodordimov6518 Hey, thanks! It's been a year so I fixed that issue a long time ago. I ended up using BLHeli_Suite to flash the 4-in 1 esc board by connecting each of the 4 input wires to 8, 9, 10 and 11 of the Arduino nano. I then proceeded to flash an interface fpr 4-in 1 on the nano using the Arduino Uno template (Nano template has a bug). I got in, and configured myesc board. I have been using it since and even corrupted the controller once on the board where I had to manually flash using the tiny configuration pads on the board. I did a successful jump flight that crashed a bit later but still was progress because I'm writing my own flight controller. So far I accidentally fried the first few mosfets on the board by accidentally shorting the power. It was due to a false connection woth the capacitor. So now I bricked it and am using that same board with a spare singular.
Hi, i have an unbranded esc with green pcb and two chips, one is fortior fd6288t and the other chip does not have any labels. Help me identify what esc is this please D:

What chip does your ESC use? Or what was it branded as? You might have to open the heatshrink like I did to see what chip your ESC uses (Atmel 8a, etc)

Very well explained tutorial! Short and easy to understand for a newbie! Thanks for your time :-)

You would need a battery / power source more than just the Arduino hooked up to the ESC

You might need to use a different digital pin for the Uno, try switching that first. Do you have the esc powered?

I heard that pin 11 works best for the UNO board for this task. Haven't tried it out myself though.

😂😂😂 ok no problem. But if you want a challenge try and unbrick a PX4 .If you succeed you would be a hero to all PX4 users😁😁
I mean with Arduino Mega
Yeah should work fine
