Brother your kingi set has a reel not really powerful enough, on a spinning rod, which may well break with a good fish. Its made to bend the other way cuz. I hope you dont mind me saying but your hook is tied on the wrong way at 9.30. I know you caught a fish, but you would catch more if the leader went through from the front of the hook, not the back.at 12.00 with a baitrunner set the front drag at about 3 kilos, then when a fish takes it, wind the handle and the front drag kicks in. Great snapper and i wouldn't have quite believed the weight, but digital scales don't lie. Well done subscribed
Nah bro, thanks heaps, I've never understood the 9:30 vs 12 but now that I know I'm at 9:30, which I've always rigged up, I'm going to try the 12, I'll never turn down genuine advice, always learning, can never know it all, thanks heaps and he'll yeah on the baitrunner too by the way, just that my last one shit itself so I use a spinning reel, loose as drag, hand the spool (been burnt a couple times) and do up the drag, thank you mate, baitrunner next on the shopping list
