About the game:

Awesome interview, loved hearing about the history and backstories of the behind the scenes. A big thankyou to everyone in this video AND everyone else that was mentioned in it, much love and gratitude to everyone's hard work and time on making the Dying Light series.
It's so great seeing their passion pour through in this video love techland and can't wait to jump back in
Can´t wait for guns to come back in the DLC just to shoot some volatiles
I have a few wishlist items for the final 4 years.
1. Looting in DL1 was addictive a lot of it was the animations
2. Updated interiors to many are so bland and look too much alike
3. Darker nights
4. Making running a dedicated button like DL2 walking around is very immersive like DL1
5. Guns (makeshift would be cool and fit in a fallen world)
6. DLC more emphasis on the zombies and not humans
7. Maybe an option for more survival mechanics
I think overall it’s just wanting more immersive elements re worked interiors better loot animations/designs
A lot of the stuff you said already has solutions in game honestly.
1. Not 100% sure what you mean but looting is pretty much exactly the same in both games? Almost identical animations and sounds.
2. I agree they could spice it up after some more important additions
3. There are color grading options in the video section where you can go with darker variants (or just turn gamma or monitor brightness down)
4. There is a toggle walk option, you might have it disable in the controls section
5 and 6. There is a zombie focused dlc kind of like “the following” from dl1 coming in 2023, and the developers have hinted towards guns being in this new dlc.
7. Not 100% sure what you mean but I think this could be a cool idea :)

The Year 1 Anniversary update was very much appreciated. Crossgen, specifically, was huge for my friend & I!
Prior to this update, I had to have my Xbox One X plugged in to play with him on his og Xbox One. It only had Dying Light 2 installed on it for this reason haha. Now I can (finally) use my Series X to play Dying Light 2, which, side note... RUNS SMOOTH AF! As long as you're on "Balanced" mode. ;)

My only wishlist... increased storage capacity for each tab! I just found out about the increased weapon storage after I stopped farming legendary weapons. More things to do with gold!

Looking forward to the new location outside Villedor in the expansion. And hopefully maybe... one day... we will officially learn what truly happened to Crane.
First off you guys are awesome, no developers have ever put the effort into their community as y’all have and it is not lost on us I promise.
I really hope you guys can add a type of co-op where both players level up together.
as in I and a friend(s) can do a full play through together and everything will save on both players games. Me and my brother played halfway through the storyline then realized that he hadn’t made any progress on his game, after we unlocked nightrunner equipment together he lost it😢.
Essentially at this point to level up together we have to switch back and forth on both of our individual storylines. Thankfully it’s an awesome game 😂 but still it’s aggravating.

After the updates the game has become really great but I feel like the kick button is a bit clunky because it should have a command proper to it like tap twice the defense button (controllers wise)

One thing I would like to see is the chase level being more unforgiving. What I mean is that the chase level is too slow. My idea is the chase level going up faster as you keep running into those howlers. It would make the volatiles pop up better and make night time more interesting.

I hope that decision-making changes, although I doubt it, it was something that had me hyped up, many decisions that shaped the world and the truth is that it did not impact the game in that way (personally) It only varies between two factions, no I ask for 8 factions, but if at least 4... but I still want the best for this game

Find some resources, avoid the special zombies at the night including the Howlers because they will start the chase, and find some Military Drops. It will upgrade your Nightrunners gears. 😊

Where is the renegades option? Some of us want to work for the colonel and the fact such an important character only has 30 seconds of screen time is beyond ridiculous, along with the fact he doesn’t have an ending where he takes over the city by himself.
Idk if that can work because throughout the whole game we fight against renegades

@@MidnightIX Yeah the ones you fight around the city are all Waltz guys. The colonel is said to control half the city and have outposts across it, his men are badass for such a tiny insignificant roll. Then the whole time waltz had a mutiny against Williams with his drugged out men. They also have an ending specifically for them which means they have the content. They just didn’t put it in which is ridiculous. You just get that half assed ending which he’s not even mentioned in now even though he’s running things and it doesn’t make sense.

The first part was much better for me, especially regarding the weapons.You could also put rifles, pistols, improvised snipers made of various materials in this sequel, so the game would be much better.You could have added a boomerang that can be upgraded as well as the weapons you have. There is not even crossplay between Playstation 4, 5 with Xbox One, S and X and I finished the game and will not play it again because it is crap.And yes, you could also insert a grenade and flame thrower, an acid thrower. But you can see that you have no ideas or inspiration. And as for the mechanics, it's still terrible, especially for PS4.
And the stupidest thing is that the game is parkor and there is a lot of jumping, which is not suitable for a first-person game, because most of the players, like me, have touched the bottom many times or you can't judge the jump well.
They should add a mode where you can choose to play from the third person, so it would be much easier for us to play, especially jumping and other things.I have Dying Light 1 and 2, but I only played them once because they are demanding with that parkour, the game annoyed me so many times that I played it several times. And I regret the money I gave for that game.
And I don't want to buy the DLC at all, nor would I play it if they were free for the above reason.

I was always scared to play at night in the first one that I’ve played that game to death but very little time into night game play, and I love dying light one for that!!
Because nobody was playing at night. They should’ve kept the night mechanics from 1 though and give us those incentives to explore dark zones so there’s a reason and still scary

I do own the game but i have so many things to play.It's stupid but im going to ask anyway,DL2 has a large level up thing like the first game? because im adicted to leveling up haha.Hope you can add challenges to the game like,comunity challenges for example i create a level with most difficult enemies and your goal is to grab x items like 80 items wich makes it very difficult,it would be awesome like a survive challenge.Greetings from Argentina and sorry about my english XD-.
There are legend level u can go up to 250 and there are tons of parkour and combat challenges for u to play for

I heard Techland will make a fantasy game with former CDPR employees (Who created Witcher and Cyberpunk).
So any chance we'll be getting hellraid dlc for dying light 2 🤔. Just saying the community would probably love it and you've already made it before and it was great 👍.

@@GetOffMyDick00 we can confirm that Dying Light 2 is not a crossplay game, so you will only be able to play alongside those who own the game on the same platform/console family that you do. (PlayStation players must play amongst themselves, Xbox players are on their own, and so on.)
