I have been riding this saddle almost 5 years. I have had Circle Y and Tex Tan and four Genuine Billy Cook; this Ranch saddle is my best ride. Thanks Horse Saddle Shop, I was having trouble locating a good Billy Cook until I found your web site.
We do appreciate comments, even from competitors. Yes, Billy Cook is 82 and amazingly still oversees the production of his saddles. I believe that is one of Billy Cook's strong points - a company run by its founder, with many years of experience. The pure quality and the customer satisfaction is proof to us that the Billy Cook wade saddle is an excellent purchase for anyone looking for a ranch wade saddle.
This is the real deal. I have had many other makes, but this is the last one for me.Thanks mr billy for this masterpiece. I am going to see of I can find mr Billy ,and get him to sign it.
Love the look of this saddle, and the hang of the stirrups , more under the rider. Can you tell me please about fit to the rider. Do I need the same size saddle as with most other westerns, or larger or smaller? I take a 15 to 15 1/2 generally speaking. Thank you!
I have a question for you(beautiful saddle by the way) I purchased A "old" used saddle a few yrs ago, liked the looks of it. Suppose to be pretty old, the lady said it was A Bully Good?? she said before Billy Cook became Billy Cook this is the name the saddles went by. Do you have any knowledge of that? Just curious. It rides wonderfully so even if it isn't what she said, that's okay. If it's something I need to put up tho, i would also like to know that as well. Where would I get info onn that?
Hi, i'm looking at 2 differents models of Billy Cook saddle. do you know what's the difference between a ranch saddle and a packer saddle ? They kinda look the same. Thanks !
