Hey Chaps! Do you use TV or Monitor for console gaming??
What about a gaming projector? 😎
I've been using the BENQ RL2755 for the past 5 years for gaming, coz I play twitch shooters and want that low response time. The LG GP950 is something I'm considering as well.
Both depends how I feel at the time
Anime only
no I rather be pc master race
Glad to see monitors like these starts showing up. By the time PS5 and Xbox be more available in stores, I hope to buy these kind of monitors on sale.
Just bought one for $200 on eBay
Great review, highlighting the pros and cons of the product super clearly
The video editing outflanks the actual 27inch LCD being promoted. Well done again. Last year, I got a 32inch 4k and now I want a screen that is more of a flat square shape and but slightly wider; 42 inch in at least 6k may do it.
lg 42 inch in 2022, but i would prefer 32-38 inch i have 48 lg cx inch now tho but i will upgrade to 42" in 2022 its abit smaller in width than a 34 inch ultrawide and pretty much same size as 38 inch ultra wide in width. the sweet spot starts at 42 inches for me but less would be better
Can you explain the differences in the game modes on this monitor or gaming monitors in general?...I want the fastest response of course but would a better setting based on color and visual preference have a real difference in delay or will it be the same?...I don't believe in changing monitor modes to racing for racing games or FPS for shooters etc...I like to set it and leave it a way for all my games...
Great review! there are not many reviewers mentioning the full 10bit 4:4:4 chroma color or that this monitor supports full 48Gbps bandwidth with no compression.
Hey! Thanks for the video. I’m considering getting this, possible to let me know what is the height of the monitor when it’s using the stand at its lowest height?
I’ve got a Dell U2720Q with my OG PS4. Downside no HDR and only one HDMI port. Really good quality, good to watch tv on, decent enough to game on. Use it for work mainly.
Hi..can anyone tell which monitor is best for gaming in 4k 144hz and 1440p 144hz or 240hz . I m searching a monitor for ps5 and pc any suggestions
So far this monitor appeals the most to me as I need a HDMI2.1 monitor for my laptop. I got a Zenbook Duo. It's also got 2 thunderbolts coming out from the integrated card, but that's weak and laggy. I need something that comes out of the GPU ports. Is there a better option than this?
Can you run 120fps & 4K at the same time on the newer consoles with that monitor?
Wait a second that Monitor is Dope, and am currently using the Samsung 4K TV
Is this the exact same panel used in the Acer Nitro XV282K?
Can you do a comparison vid?!
I have an xbox, switch and playstation on my desk with my PC. This looks awesome because of the 4 hdmi ports. I also play in 4k, so it looks like it might be the perfect monitor for me - just really torn between it and a 42 C2, or an LG GP950 / GQ950.
I love this channel. I recently discovered it when I was looking for advice, and you didn't lead me wrong! Your presentation is pro but very accessible, and though you're obviously profoundly knowledgeable, you deliver it in a way that leaves a layman like me feeling informed but not overloaded. I hope you go from success to success. Keep it up!
I have a 4k HDR 60hz screen for my PS5/PC
But I would prefer a 32inch 2.1 screen
Philips 32m1r for example
It's really hard for me to play on anything too Large I feel like anything over 32 inches on a desk would be way to big.
Pretty good video. Nice recommendations
I have this monitor and another asus 1080p 144hz one. When I wake the pc from sleep sometimes the windows from the 4k monitor slide to the 1080 one because the 4k one is waking up slower. How do I fix this?
I got this monitor and it's amazing with Series X, I've also got an RTX 3060 Ti, and I play some casual games like rocket league and sometimes Valorant or CS GO, they work great 4K above 144fps so I get the most out of it, just hoping they'd add more 120FPS @4K in the series X
How is the black level? I tried an IPS panel once and I kept my VA panel instead because of how bad the blacks looked on the IPS panel
I'm considering to buying it for my PC. Will it be good?
What games you play on it?
Did you have to mess around with the settings? Did you turn on or turn off anything if so what did you change?
Wow, well literally that’s my gaming set up (series x/3060ti) and I was wondering if this is what I want to go with as my gaming monitor. I’m no pro gamer but I enjoy gaming and love my 4K.
How have you been enjoying it?
I've been thinking of buying this monitor for console gaming and I think after this review has convinced me to go ahead with the purchase. Very good review
Viewsonic XG320U or XG321UG are really nice. Just pricing?
I need help, eco mode absolutely will not turn off the option for eco mode is greyed out
Hey man, can you tell us , which is the best gaming monitor hdmi 2.1 ???
For warzone it’s good for play competitive? At 120fps?
Please tell me the good color quality settings for this monitor so that I can adjust according to you. I use it for ps5.
I just got this monitor for my ps5 but I don’t have a PC , am I missing out on any additional features for the ps5 that the pc can add to the monitor??
What monitor would you recommend for ps5 since ps5 don't support 1440p but I do want hdmi 2.1
What is the hight when at it’s lowest point on the stand?
I agree about not being able to appreciate a 4k panel at 27/8 inch. Thats why i upgraded to a 43 inch 4k 144hz monitor.
No its not too big i have a deep desk and frikin love it!
Is it the aorus fv43u? :o
@@ReyFrancisPatron yep, debated between that and the rog
@@jabedahmed8177 nice. Awesome monitor! I switched mines for fi32u
@UncleBioticz I went with this one because I heard the ROG had really bad quality control issues on its panel, that and it being about 40% more expensive were good enough for me to pick the fv43u
@UncleBioticz Ah I don’t use my PS5 on it I have my PS5 hooked up to an LG CX and this monitor is for my PC gaming
so this or the gigabyte m28u ? which one is better ?
Hi I own this monitor however I have serious Flickering issues while hdr& dd turn on at the same time especially on black areas. Any tips ?
How is the back light bleeding or blooming ?
Do you have a settings video for this particular monitor?
What tipe of monitor you recommend for a game like division 2
Not sure if you still have this, but can you test if it can accept a non-native resolution, specifically an XBOX Series X at 1440p 120hz with VRR enabled? Trying to find a suitable monitor for my capture card that can passthrough 120hz VRR at 1440p max.
I just bought this for my ps5 and it has like a brownish tint to it. And it won’t let me change the settings in the monitor. Any work around?
Does this monitor support integer scaling of 1080p content?
I think sometimes people want to buy these is to have the option to do what they want. Maybe one day they wanna play a single-player game at 4k 60fps and the next day they wanna play a competitive shooter at 144fps 1080p. Instead of buying 2 monitors or settling for one or the other, they just buy this as a 2 in 1. I do agree that there is no way you would be able to hit 4k 144hz other than with older titles but I strongly believe those are not the people who they're marketing for.
Which would you recommend for the ps5 to run properly 120 fps for the games which have this feature ?
This is what I'm looking to buy this for. I got a PS5 and for First Person Shooters or multiplayer games refresh rate is a must for 120hz but if I'm playing GoW or Spider-Man 60hz at 4K is beautiful
60 fps is unplayable tbh im too spoiled.
wow you just explained my situation. i ended up adding this with my asus 240hz 1080p monitor so i can cruise on forza with the boys or any single player / co op for visuals, then also play fps games like apex. two different sizes (28 and a 24.5) but it’s better than jus using one imo. (rtx3090 i910900k 64gb@3600 ) usb 2.1 broke earlier that came with the monitor so i gotta use a reg 2.0 until i order a 2.1 but even with the 2.0 hdmi it’s still showing 160ish fps on Forza horizon 4 so i’m confused
@@SEliteGuitarist If you were to get this monitor specifically, HDMI 2.1 would allow the PS5 to run 4k at 120hz
Hello dose anyone know if this monitor has sound like any sound comming from the monitor
Hello,
I need an information. I have bought this monitor and my
google page is not white, it is a mix of white and grey, have you got
this problem too ?
Got this in my Amazon cart now...just watching for confirmation...need to upgrade from my 4K 60hz non HDR Asus monitor from years ago...
Bro me now in 2024 haha
Should I pull the trigger??
@@HUERITO818 I would see if its anything better with how tech changes but I only use this for the PS5 and love it…
@@minusx31 I ended up getting MSI MAG323UPF
What is the best 4K 2.1hdmi monitor for the Xbox the gigabit M28u or the lg950b or something else I’m can’t make a decision I have around 1k
Where did you buy this monitor from?
Is there a release for this monitor yet? I remember reading that it was supposed to come out Q1 of this year but It's almost the end of the year and still no update. I really wish these companies would make a 32 inch option of every type of monitor they release.
It has already been released in the UK
@@ShafHussain Ah ok, Guess it should release everywhere else soon then.
What are the other better panels.
What HDMI 2,1 monitor would you chose for PS5?
Acer Nitro XV282KKV ,
Asus TUF VG28UQL1A ,
Gigabyte M28U or the
Samsung odyssey G7 ?
Thanks for good videos!
I would definitely choose the Asus Tuf, I've had good experiences with their monitors and love their displays. I tried the Samsung Odyssey and it's also a really good option, Although you have to tweak some settings and update the firmware on that one in order to get it to work at 4k 120 on PS5.
@@armen1136 How with color accuraty for pictures? Is better then msi 321mpg ur-qd?Brightnes is enough in sdr?
@@kamionka888 it was actually really good. Everything worked, only issue I had with it was the sleep mode function. It wouldn’t always recognize the display port signal, so I had to turn the monitor off and on again. It is kind of low in brightness in SDR though. If you like to game in a room with a lot of lights or sunlight, I probably wouldn’t recommend it. It’s perfect for a darker room though.
@@armen1136 This monitor have 158ppi msi have 138ppi.I think i buy asus because for picture quality.Sleep mode is no problem for me .Some people have also problem with quantom doc technology to strong colors and asus what i see have normal accuraty colors.
"Console Master Race" lol I like this dude.
Do you recommend turning off HDR or leaving it on?
I take my time to think if i'm buying it or not, i own a LG UHD 4K HDR400, 144Hz but now, there's a little scracht on the right of the monitor... nothing big but it's there, do you recommand it to me for watching videos, movies etc
But where can I buy the monitor has it not been released? Atleast add it in the description of the video if you’re going to review it.
I return the LG CX 48” and picked up the LG 27GP950-B. The monitor supports HDMI 2.1 and HDR 600. HDR is hit or miss depending on the game. Halo Infinite Technical Preview HDR is perfect. And the so many more great HDR games. Gears 5’s HDR is bad and takes a lot of adjustments to make it look good.
Does HDR really affects in gameplay?
@@mercesletifer9553 HDR enhances all colors, shadows, lightening, etc. It absolutely no impact on gameplay.
I checked it out and it doesn’t have hdmi 2.1 which I was looking for to use with my PS5.
@@ogronmitchell so you checked out the wrong one, the LG 27GP950-B does have HDMI 2.1, the LG 27GN950-B has HDMI 2.0
@@ogronmitchell In India there is only GN version they didnt release GP yet
what chair are you using
Can you do a video on monitors that are both good for gaming and getting work done? I'm in the market for a monitor that would be both be awesome for gaming on my Playstation 5, and hooking it up to my MacBook Pro to get work done in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Have a feeling that I'm never going to find what I'm looking for. My dream monitor either doesn't exist or costs several thousand dollars would be... 4k, HDR, HDMI 2.1 (120hz), Thunderbolt 3 (or at a minimum USB-C), and color accuracy mostly for adobe RGB 1998. Should I keep dreaming? Or should I turn my desk into a two monitor setup? One for work, and the other for gaming?
I want to buy it for macbook air m1. Most likely I will.
Tech Chap please do a comparison between this vg28u and the lg gp950
Are the settings greyed out like the Asus pg42uq? Would I have to update the firmware also smfh
I’ve just got this monitor my self , using it for my Xbox series x , absolutely amazing. Looking forward to more games being added in the future that will do 4K 120hz. Definitely worth a purchase and it’s future proof aswell. 😎
What settings do you use? Like brightness etc
Thank you for this comment! I rarely see people comment how well a particular monitor works with an Xbox Series X b/c I always see PlayStation 5 users commenting instead

Hi mate what resolution monitor would you recommend for PlayStation 5 mainly playing call of duty so wont it to be as smooth and fast as I can
Did you end up deciding on a monitor?
Where can buy this monitor at?
that is the smoothest game play ive seen
PS5 can output FULL RGB @ 60fps. It’s only @120Hz the PS5 outputs 4:2:2. Confirmed from my C9 HDMI service menu.
What does it mean ?
I really can't decide between this or the Asus Tuf 28 :(. Both are the same price. Originally I was like eh about the Samsung bc I thought the back light stays blue, but that's pretty cool it does. The Asus is a curved screen though. Keep in mind I don't have a PC. This is mainly for me streaming ps4, ps3, ps4, and my switch and possibly mini consoles. I only have a chromebook though I am getting a really good laptop soon, but mostly for my music studio.
For ps5 this monitor or Lg 27gp950-B??. Thankss

Hi can you help me with TV's at the moment its not about price its about space. I'm looking for a good 32" TV that's good for gaming with the new consoles. Would you know any?
I use a 65” LG C9 with my XSX which is awesome but on FPS games I find it too large. What I would like is a 1440p gaming monitor for around £400, any recommendations?

I'm just looking for decent monitor for PS5, I've always played games on a big TV and wanted to change it up to see how I liked playing on a monitor. Should 60hz be enough or should I go with 120hz?
Depends on the games you play because I’m in the same boat as you I always play on a TV now I’m getting this

Should I get this, or a gigabyte g32qc 32" curved 1440p monitor
Can it output 4k at 120 with hdr?
I just bought the VG28UQL1A to use with my PS5 and Series X. All the other monitors I was looking at only had 2 hdmi ports. This one has 4 so I can hook up my laptop and my Roku too. I was looking at the LG C1 But that was over my budget and too large. I had a $377.76 credit on Amazon that I was saving for a monitor. Before I was using a Sony X900F which was good but didn't support 4k at 120hz. I'm sure I'll be happy with this monitor. Can you please tell he what the measurement from leg to leg is? Also how are the built in speakers? I wanna put this on a monitor stand.
