You only missed the correct founding date by 54 years.
So I find it really odd that not one clip or image of the new steel plant is shown in the video? That's one heck of a clickbait title.
Shit I’m at the plant right now, they just cut the ribbon yesterday and are melting metal as I type this it’s a awesome process
@@taylorgillihan602 Haha - pictures or you're just trolling!
Thanks for sharing and Best Regards of North of Mexico
The first step is to get the factory up and running so that Tesla has a steady supply of their special alloy steel, but transporting all that steel with trucks on public highways will be expensive, so step two will be connecting the steel factory and the Tesla factory via tunnels built by the Boring Company. Then products can be shipped on fully autonomous delivery systems without traffic delays or all the costs related to trucking on the highways. The savings will be enormous and the efficiency of both companies will be greatly increased.
Its actually in Columbia City Indiana
On mt Toyota Trucks The roll bar, bumper and steps are made of ss 304l. It is amazing.
Forget that last post. My machine stopped what I was saying is the dynamic steel plant is in sinton Texas small town Northwest of corpus about 140 miles from giga Texas in Eastside of Austin, they've been down there for but tremendous expansion so their quality is very good you'll be happy, just wanted to let you know the location
So as of today from a SDI hot mill Forman, Tesla isn’t involved anymore due to legal reasons… long story from what I was told, but instead we(SDI) have bought all scrap yards from Houston down to the border to supply metal to them, then make the flat rolls hot and receiving cold rolls as well To then ship back out after we do what’s needed.SDI just cut the ribbon yesterday and have been melting none stop today. It’s a big project no lie their but like others said, the video doesn’t have actual photos of what’s going on out here it really is amazing to see the tunnels and the sheer size of the place.
Article would be better recieved if the pictures shown would show the items talked about..Pictures of the SDI plants building progress and maybe even an overlay of the route between SDI and the Giga Texasa plant would be nice....About a 400 mile round trip between the rwo plants, just about right for a daily commute for a Tesla Semi...roune trip from either plant on only one charge...leaving an 8 hour gap for charging of both the driver and the trucks batteries.....maybe a boring tunnel berween them would cut down travel time and no driver needed...
They bought a steel works. Not unlike Henry Ford 100 years ago.
In case you didn't understand him very well. The dynamic steel kitchen
