So glad Kevin and Sophie found each other again. This show always has a way of making me feel that true love is possible. Kevin is my favorite character he always seems so lost and in pain. I always felt that because he wasn't there when his father died, he couldn't figure out how to be the man he felt his dad was. This ending makes up for a lot.
Always though the same he was so lost after his dad and if he was alive kevin would have been a different man…so glad to see he is happy i’ve always felt his pain
Loved this comment. I feel like Kevin has taken a lot of criticism, yet I have found him to be all too human. Everyone has flaws, and Kevin struggled for years. People are complicated, and I too believe in TRUE LOVE, which is the GREATEST gift of all!
I've been sticking with Kevin and Sophie since the time Toby asked Kevin to close his eyes and see face of the person he loves in season one. I knew it's always been KoPhie. ♥️
I originally wanted Kevin and Madison to get together. But I love how things have turned out! I'm glad that it was addressed how much Kevin had hurt Sophie in the past, and how he's a different person. Kevin has grown so much.
It's clear that Kevin and Sophie have both changed and developed into better versions of themselves especially Kevin. But i still believe he doesn't deserve Sophie, and it would have been a good message if both found someone else and moved on, maybe Sophie had her own family and had loved another guy as much as she loved Kev. It's nice to see people move on from their past. First loves are good but sometimes just needs to stay that way. Constantly coming back to an ex after many trials and tribulations just isnt healthy. Not saying Kevin isnt gonna treat Sophie better this time, but i believe that anything more than a second chance isn't it, they tried again during the first few seasons, but it all feels lax and fanservice-y this whole episode. Sophie being divorced again was very convenient in the moment and didn't make much sense. Kevin with Zoe/Madison had potential, but both women were used as a plot device to further Kevin's narrative and development to lead him back to the start which feels eh...but again this is just my opinion. I exclude Cassidy as i believe Kevin deserves a best friend who can be firm and realistic with him, and understand his struggles. Its good they didnt get together.
Maybe if the show was going to run a few more seasons they might have done that. Since this was the last year they really did not have time to develope a new character love interest for Kevin. It would of seemed force IMO. Even Kates new love seemed somewhat forced to me and he had been a character in the show for awhile.
@@richardlug6139 I do think they rushed it because it is the last season. If Sophie and Kevin was the plan from the beginning, I wish it was developed more between the last time they saw each other and now. Because her being suddenly divorced and available was just so convenient, and the whole episode just felt like a kophie fanfic, and maybe i'm being overzealous but I feel bad for the people that had to be plot devices i.e Madison, Sophie's (ex) husband, Zoe, etc. They've been pushed aside to further Kevin's development just for him to come back to the same person, and if that was the plan from the beginning, I wish they had more episodes together as their adult versions in Season 6 to build up to the recent episode because IMO this was just too convenient. Even the wedding singer was used a red herring only for her to be casted away. TiU is very good at building up storylines, but Kevin's arc was dragged on too long that they took the easy way out. Also, Kate's storyline I can understand. Her and Toby were pulling away from each other when Jack was born. And Hailey was used as a patch to fix their marriage and was then neglected/undeveloped like all the rest.
Thank you. They told a good romantic story and we all want to live in fairytale but it's not realistic, yes kevin as matured and grown they both have but that also mean they are not the people they fell in live with and have been pinning after all this time so who is to say the new version of themselves are actually suited for each other, we don't even know who Sophie is because her growth happened off screen.
@@richardlug6139 then they should have brought Sophie back earlier, the last time they got back together they should have had them whether the stom and come out the other side strong, they should not have had them break up because what we have are two people who always fall apart when things get hard even as adults they could not survive challenges so why should I believe this time would be different?.I actually think they should have brought Zoe back, that was a grown up relationship, we saw them navigate difficult challenges including his addiction and came out the other side the only thing they could not get past though they tried was that one wanted kids and one did not ,well kev as kids now that no longer and issue therefore them getting back together doesn't have as many questions marks that a high school sweet heart relationship that as never really been able to navigate challenges without falling apart as.
So close to end- Rebecca dying. Just the fact that this is what ends this show. And that they jumping so quickly with time. Mixing past with future and now. The fact that the last episode the future that they show us in season 3 is now. So many years past. I just can't finish this show. 😢
I know everyone is getting all in their feelings that dreamy Kevin Pearson found his "one", so I guess I'm the only one thinking "this cat left you twice and you're STILL gonna trust him?!"
@@jazzlover9050 I mean, I realize sometimes it be like that in real life, but damn. But then again, it's to the writers credit they can romanticize the relationship between a pretty boy serial cheater/alcoholic and his ever loving childhood sweetheart to the point that they can sway the viewers to his side.
@@rogergarrison4271 yep but really looks like they changed at the last minute him and Allison were the ones to be together and it was going that way just watch season 5 from when she told him she was pregnant to the time they were co habitants together and when she was pregnant and they made love and when she gave birth and when they both told each other their issues that is the way it should have went because sophie was always his bad past Allison was his mature future. Wish I can tell the writers you did an amazing show for 5 seasons then you screwed up because the Kate and Toby storyline.OMG another stupid let down,!!!! I’m so disappointed,!!! that I invested 6 years on this to see this ending. STUPID!!!!
I loved that they ended up together, but two things which should be bothering us: 1. In Season 1, Kevin had said that Sophie walked into his classroom in Grade 4. He described what she wore and everything, but this flashback totally changes that. Inconsistent writing? 2. The Valentine's card is clearly forged. Check how the 'S' of Sophie is written in both cards. They don't match at all!
If you notice there’s a lot of inconsistencies & discrepancies in the show. I think because they were going back & forth in time. For eg: Kate’s children looked the same age from the Kate & Toby broke up to when Kate started seeing her british co-worker from the school. I was thinking, wow that’s quick. There are many such examples.
Why they jumped with time so much this season? Like their were 41 at the beginning here they are 44. It should another season. And with Rebecca. She wasn't in a big staże of Alzheimer and than next episode and she is. Why they did that? They just fastened things up like they knew they can't do season 7
I think the way they sped season 6 up was super important to the main message of the story, clearly explained in the last episode. Life moves fast and oftentimes we only remember the bigger moments, forgetting all the small ones. But at the end of the day, it's all the little moments that matter most.
Am so not a fan of the Disney princess happy ending, the couple get together then we separate them for 90% of the movie then they get back together at the end of the movie and am supposed to believe they live happily ever after. Kev and Sophie broke up,we don't even know what challenges they had the first time around, yes he cheated but that a symptom of a disease in the marriage not the disease, Sophie as existed pretty much of screen for the last 6 season so how am I supposed to know that who they have became are better equipped to deal with the struggle in relationship, yes their are older now but that means older people challenges, kev as kids with someone else. I can't buy into relationships like that.i love relationship like beth and Randal and jackand Rebecca even Rebecca and Miguel, relationship that are built on stories, the up and down, the challenges, the growth, authenticity not ones built on chemistry and wishful thinking.
Exactly. Kevin cheated on her & she walked out the very same day, he confessed to her, that was when they were newly weds & very young. After that they were never seen together except fleetingly. They don’t even show kevin pining for Sophie etc, except he reminisces a bit at Sophie’s mom’s funeral. They show Kevin moving on with his life, looking for love. He was definitely all in with Madison, that’s who he should have remained. As he tells Madison that, their relationship could grow. As someone who followed the show from the very 1st episode, I felt nothing seeing them together😒
So the message of this series is to cheat, go break someone’s heart constantly, grow up and end up together still. Like their story was too tiring for real. It’s like saying Selena Gomez went back with Justin Bieber 😒
Well, even of they’re together again in the present and they finally got together, the future scene in episode 13 revealed they’re not together anymore. He will be together with the commercial girl again.

It was so cute and so romantic and the fact that he kept the valentine… adorable little Kevin holding hands.

Kevin the way he looks at Sophie ❤❤❤ everyone even his ex’s know
We now need a Triple Threat of Cassidy vs. Hank vs. Randall for the title of Best Man/Woman in Kevin's wedding to Sophie.
Lol 😂
Could this be more brilliant acting no
