I really love Olive's point. She's so right! We have so many women who are on fire for God, really loves God and do not joke with their relationships with Him BUT men who are just spiritually lazy. How then do they take the lead in their homes as the head that God has called them to be. It's really sad and they always want a woman to submit to them. I would never marry such because I can't submit to a man who doesn't submit to Christ first. This is really why a lot of ladies are single. Some men actually believe women set too high standards. No bro! It's not too high. Loving God and having a close personal relationship with Him is key for me. It's non negotiable. I won't go below that standard.
Do you mean you want a man who is has a strong relationship with God only? You need to be very honest with yourself for your own sake. There are many spiritual men in this country because majority of us were raised in Christian homes. There's literally at least one church on every street, so having access to spiritually strong men is not the problem. The really problem which Pastor K. also highlighted is, the guys YOU ARE ATTRACTED to are not spiritual enough. Women commonly complain about the lack of "good men" or "spiritual men" but they never articulate their true emotions, which is about the lack of tall, good-looking, successful, funny, swaggalicious men who are GOOD/GOD FEARING. In conclusion, there are plenty good men, plenty God-fearing men, plenty disciplined men, plenty caring men...BUT YOU DON'T FIND THEM ATTRACTIVE. Just like Pastor K said, y'all need to unlearn what defines a man's attractiveness so y'all can stop being single... because at the end of the day, what you see is what you get.

Wow wow wow This is a very real conversation. I love the last point the lady on blue raised..There are lots of men that are either very cold or Luke warm spiritually and this is a serious problem for we the ladies... Honestly, I think the focus should be on men..So many women are here waiting for men to grow up.. I am personally calling on Pastors, Speakers, Bishops, Evangelist etc pls, help us groom our brothers and our men. We are tired of being the ones leading our homes while the man is just sitting down there as the head of the family yet, he isn't heading anything...

I beg to differ: Men know exactly what they want. Emphasis on MEN not boys. Sisters, let’s not get fooled. If he wants sex and you want marriage, you both happen to want different things. If he likes everything about you: independence, financial security, go-getter, yet he’s not taking it to the next level, then you’re not the total package for him. He doesn’t know how to break it to you without drama. He’ll instead hold on to you until he finds that “total package” for him or when someone closer to that comes along. Men are generally more decisive in relationships that us female folk. Yes, I am female and I’m a mature single woman...

All I have to say is there are incredibly good men. I have some as friends and some as my brothers. The issue is that they don't just look like it now, but i have seen the patterns that they will make a wonderful husband. women remove that image in your head. Be kind, humble and loving, trust me the right man will come.

Our Convictions shape our values and when people we are in relationships with don’t have similar values then we know the problem is with our belief system and I think that’s what is cracking marriages of today. May God continue to raise leaders to give us wide counsel.
Yes a lot of women have invested in self and spiritual development and that makes it hard to be yoked with men that don't take their destinies seriously, help us find the balance Lord, show us the ones we can work with and the ones that r a no no. I can negotiate looks but an ungodly man with non leadership qualities are a no.
I nvr went for a fellow doctor but a pastor..even if am more educated than him ..he has so much potential..i see his pattern. I see beyond..i kno in th future rapture tarring today will just a story.. If christ is first in everythn thts it..

I love this conversation for so many reasons. Thank you! My comment is about the question that Pastor K started to ask around 27:13. Basically, it's the comparison of the tall, non-spiritual man with the short, spiritual and supportive man. First, let me say that my comment modifies 'tall' to mean 'attractive to me' because I think that's where he was going. If I'm wrong, disregard my comment lol Okay, so my point is this: there aren't only two choices. There is at least one other alternative, which is to remain single. If you find yourself in the scenario he posed, the wise thing to do, in my opinion, is to remain single. Singleness is better than either marrying a spiritual man you're not attracted to and you don't enjoy being with, or marrying a non-spiritual man that you are attracted to. In the first instance, you will be miserable because marriage is mostly just hanging out and living REGULAR life together. You'll hate it if you don't truly enjoy your spouse as a person. And in the second instance, you'll soon become frustrated if you're a godly woman. After a few sessions of dragging him to church and seeking his advice on life's issues with no good fruit, he'll actually become unattractive to you. So, yeah, please remain single until it is actually beneficial to you to be married. And for a Christian, it is imperative that you have both godliness and chemistry. By the way, men deserve to be wanted, no? If I were a Christian man, I would be quite discouraged by the way I'm often painted as unattractive. Christian men, abeg wait for someone who genuinely loves all of you.
