These guys, l admire so much. Not only the Kings Guards but also proud to honour their country men and the rest of us too.
Thank you lads,men,women and boys.😊
Love watching them March out together, so proud, in their ranks…. Then the police saunter out, break the gate, then wander off for, probably, a packet oh Haribo!
Let British royal tradition never die out.
Happy birthday Princess Anne ,the Princess Royal 🎂🍸🌻🌸🌷🌼🌺🌹🙏🇮🇲❤
This was filmed back in June when the RAF usually do a stint of Guard change so the Guards can rehearse for Trooping the Colour. This is the RAF Central Band, under Drum-Major Scott. The band and that of the RAF Regiment, are currently in Edinburgh performing at the Edinburgh Tattoo.
Thank you for the information. 😀
Yes.@@QPRTokyo
It doesn't take much to surprise you, London Revealed, does it? As Stewart says, this was filmed (and shown) back in June.
Why couldn’t you believe your eyes…This is England and this is who we are and what we do….And we are so good at it…..
Indeed live in a dark past of deceit and exploitation
I Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw how many beards the men had, including one in the Colour Guard.
Indeed self delusional to the extreme
As a veteran i take exception at your comment there may be Scots,Irish and Welsh playing in that band and perhaps you should have said this is Britain and this is who we are and we are good at it.
@@barrybarry6592Always one got to be complaining. Go back in history in a Time Machine and educate the world where they went wrong. You could also look up which country in the World stopped Slavery over a large part of the Globe. Spoiler alert it was the UK. So stop whining and get on with trying to change what you can, like Global warming our current most pressing problem. At least the guys in the band are walking!
Today is the birthday of Princess Anne , the Princess Royal
Happy birthday!
I hope she received my card .
Dieses arbeitsscheue royale Gesindel sollte lieber arbeiten als Steuergelder verprassen.
Outstanding, Superb, Disciplined musicians like no other place in the bloody world!
Only in Great Britain.
Long live the King!
C.A.G-M.
Happy birthday Princess Anne a stalwart of the Monarchy. Thank you for your service to our country.
Did the same public duties in 1976 when I was in the RAF regiment based at Uxbridge. Buck house, St James Palace and Tower of London including the ceremony of the keys... that was scary for a 20 year old.
Cannot imagine what sad lives some folks must lead, they walked past eyes glued to their mobile phone or otherwise-not a sideways glance at what was taking place. The country and the world has changed so much. Many folks living in the UK owe thanks to those defence service personnel who made this possible so many year’s ago, now all taken for granted.
If you live in London and stopped every time you see the military performing ceremonial duties you’d never get anything done! 😂
I agree with @ffotograffydd - if you pass this area on a daily basis (maybe even multiple times a day) this is just another typical day.
@@bbrauer5 And a good typical day. Tradition like this never wears out. You might see it every day, but the tourists love it..and music is good for the soul anyway. Those who wish to have Britain as a republic instead of having the monarchy around, are very sad souls who want the country and it's tradition implode, for radicals to ruin even further.
Couldn't believe what? I saw nothing out of the ordinary. Awesome precision. Don H USA
Ok, Debbie Downer. Seriously, some people should just take a vow of silence. I've been to London a number of times, and am planning on heading back again soon. Hopefully I won't run into another Debbie Downer there. Donna B. USA

Donna, I'm a vet with 20 years service in the Canadian army, infantry. The title is a bit over the top. The makers of this video have seen the same thing many times over. The only difference here is the uniforms. Now, if the video was about the King's Colour Squadron of the RAF Regiment (same unit, different sub-unit) then the title would be apt.
Band of the Royal Air Force
Standing guard are elements of the R.A.F . regiment.
Not unusual. The Royal Navy recently stood guard outside Buckingham Palace for the first time in its history.
The Royal Marines also stand guard.
Commonwealth forces have also stood guard Australians, New Zealanders.
Thank you, Chris, for that explanation. I was not aware of that. Don H Ocala Fl USA@@chrisholland7367
The title is click bait. The social media ghouls will have been hoping for something terrible to have happened 🙄
Nice to see R.A.F ❤
You mean "Crabs"
@@barbaradyson6951 Is that a "Pongo" I hear?

Princess Anne, your royal Highness, many happy birthday congratulations, I'm honoured to share your birthday month& age, warmest wishes, Betty Anne. Xx
Happy Birthday Princess Anne ❤❤🇦🇺🐨🐨🇦🇺
Your Royal Highness
Happy Birthday, many more in good health
So what couldn’t you believe ?????? HM Royal Air Force Often carry out Ceremonial Duties aswell as Royal Naval Personnel 🇬🇧
What could you not believe?
The royal air force looking good 😊😊😊
They also have an excellent Pipes & Drums and Military Music Bands.
My father, mother, and brother served in the RAF. Dad, thirty-five years from 1937, mother during the war and brother for twenty years. All my friends were 'RAF kids'. All gone now and the 'RAF March' still brings a lump to my throat. Daughter carrying on the tradition in the Royal Australian Air Force. I would have continued the tradition too, but they discovered how stupid and lazy I was at the time.
As an ex guardsman ' i like to hear a booming word of command from the drum major and the beards doesn't look good either . The music is fine though ' the brigade of guards bands have had to change to this new way of thinking ' some say for the better ' not for me but i am old school
Glad they enter in my home with Harmony ❤
Probably just the RAF band standing in for the Guards bands who are probably taking a well earned break!
Being ex RAAF, I have to say it is nice to see the RAF, that touch of blue.
👏👏👏
👏👏👍👍👍🏴
It was nice to see a woman leading the march
Many thanks.
What a contrast between the military men and the police! the police were so casual and acted like a pair of gun slinging outlaws in such contrast to they highly drilled and precise marching of the air force!
Wow, those windows are so clean
Saw what? Click bait
Be proud to be one of them. Class.
RAF REGIMENT, Showing how its done, as usual
What happened to kings guard channel?
This uploader has taken their symbol from the Official King's Guard's channel. This isn't it. Ask for the Official site in your You Tube search engine/address bar.
Click-bait title. The RAF Regiment have been doing royal guard duties since 1943.
Still think the old busbies we used to wear look better than the current flat caps.
I was just thinking that very thing. Cost implications?
The Royal Air Force do not use the busby hats. Those were troops and officers of the RAF.
Are you for real or just being a plonker Rodney
@@svensimpson4130the regular RAF bands used to wear a ‘busby’ up until 2009.
@@svensimpson4130 This is what we are saying... but the bandsmen used to...
We were taught as Air Force cooks, that if the enemy overran the base, we would be required to fix bayonets and charge. After boning thousands of chickens, beef and lamb carcasses, with scalpel-sharp knives, trust me, we didn't have problem running though a few enemy intent on stealing the stew. Don't mess with the cooks.
My former unit. Done that many times myself❤
Well done lads og the Royal Airforce
And then plod shambles out. What hope is there in crisp, precise justice when it's delivered by slovenly yobs? We may look like that as field infantry, but we don't behave like it.
Royal Airforce Regiment.
The King's Colour Squadron of the Royal Air Force Regiment.

Yes. Home Station - RAF Uxbridge. Nice place. I and two friends stayed there a week way back in 1988. I was their accommodation coordinator when they performed in the Nova Scotia Tattoo about 2 months before we went to Germany.
@@johnt8636 Hi John, as you say nice place. I was stationed at Hendon 1971-73, but lived in married quarters at Uxbridge. I believe the KCS is at Northolt now; I was stationed there for a short while in 1966. Another nice place. In fact, I was stationed on 24 stations during my time, and they were all nice places!
@@Antient.Briton
lol.. Yeah, when we were there it was basically an MOD place. But, we got our own rooms meals included for 7-pound a night against 25-pound for a double with a shared bath in town. They even extended Planters in WO & Sgts mess for our stay.
Best part, we didn't tell them we were coming, just showed up on one of the guy's (a Flt Sgt) doorstep about 8 o'clock at night. Jim.... Smith? I think it was. He shared his place with WO1 Doug Strudwick, who showed up about a hour later. Had a great time there, especially shocking the shit out of everybody when we went into the Orderly Room next morning. FO Dallas almost fell out of his chair.
@@johnt8636 We haven't had WO1s since 1937!
Good to watch.enjoyed
Glad you enjoyed it
Colour balance is a bit off, particularly the blue and of the spectrum, because for a while i thought that this was one of the tank regiments.
This isn’t meant to sound sexist and I’m not. But I always think the drum major should be a daunting figure. Sorry if I’ve offended anyone …just my opinion. I’m also surprised to see the amount of beards as well. Never allowed when I was in the only one allowed a beard was the pioneer sergeant. Lovely video though
Not quite correct. It has always been the case that a beard could be worn, with 'permission' and a a chit from the M.O. !
ps Never heard of the rank of 'pioneer sergeant in the R.A.F. ???
If I was married to that voice i would find it very daunting.
Nothing good ever comes after the “but”… you are offending anyone, just making yourself look a bit silly.
@@ffotograffydd Well demonstrated 0n 'your' part !
Couldn’t believe what? You were stood there waiting for them
Another Debbie Downer. ALL You Tubers have hook titles to their videos. So your comment is rude. You also need a writing class, because you obviously can't spell either, never mind the title of this video.
All through this vid, the Italians watching this have not stopped cackling for even one second.
Princess Anne shares the same Birthday as My Mum 15th August
Happy birthday Dianne's mum!
👍 Royal Air Force 👍 🇬🇧
Couldn’t believe what, exactly?
Plod not quite as well drilled as the band. That gate opening was comical.
Surprised that the armed police have to open the gates. I'd have thought other service members or civilians should do it, allowing the chaps with the heavy kit to be on the watch for nutters who might try to run through the gates at that moment.
You couldn't believe the token female in the Central Band .
He must mean he couldn’t believe there was a female in charge with such a commanding voice
Go Air Force🎉 Both USAF and RAF.😊
Sorry. R.A.F. EVERY TIME!
USAF… yeah no….
Long live the RAF, and all the services in Britain for that matter. My dad was RAAF here down under, so there is a little bit of bias here...lol
Here's The Rupert.
If you want to hear it skip the first six and a half minutes
Sounds like some folks need to shut up.
Two heavily armed policemen in body armour required to open those flimsy gates? Nice work!
Nice to a female drum major
Nice to see a female drum major
I can't believe I sat through that 😅. Was waiting for something funny to happen.
This is St James Palace ist it 👏🤷♀️
Yes Rosalie.
still trying to figure out why this was labelled" couldnt believe my Eyes" so what couldnethey believe???
What was soooooo unbelievable that you ABSOLUTELY had to post a video????
I for one am pleased that he/she, did post this video.
bands people with ponytail,what next,mullets?,
What couldn't you believe?
Couldn’t BELIEVE My Eyes When I Saw This. - Me too, shave those beards, its not the Royal Hair Force.
Why's that woman at the beginning still wearing a silly covid mask.
Sometimes I think the army is just musicians. I wish they were all just that.

London revealed, please explain why you just "couldn't believe this"??
I looked through the replies. There were quite a few clever-dick critics. All talking rubbish. This is an interesting video of a fine event.
What a waste of our money 'they really take the piss.. so.many people with guns but we have none
Well said
i cant believe its not butter
Gosh the voices in the background spoiled for me
Wherever there is an event worth watching, there always seems to be someone cackling/laughing all the time in the background, I wonder why they even bother to attend. Like folks in the cinema who have to keep up a running commentary.
Why not? Nothing unusual about this at all!
4 days ago ??? this was BEFORE the coronation
No wonder they are called policeman plod. Looks like he has a Hernia.
what a discipline perfect.
It takes a while, but then you get something.......😂😂😂
Couldn’t believe your eyes, huh?
Belgians are the best at parading: check 'Belgian Defense Cadets' 😲
Just another SENSATIONALISING misleading SHOCK HORROR ATTENTION GRAB for more thumbs UP.
My thumb UP was for the R.A.F. not this Doco
Come on now, If GOD had meant the RAF to march He would not have given them planes😁
British police look so scruffy ... do they get measured for their uniforms or are they just handed down... ?
Just get rid of all that irritating background chatter, it is such an obvious lie. What was it all about anyway?
Get new eyes, this is normal routine
To much bull stamping of feet and nothing else , who w these soldiers
Great way to look and waste some time
Wow that was a waste of time.
All a bit silly and spoiled by the two scruffy coppers.
desperate for views? clickbait title, skipped through most of it so at least I didn't waste nearly ten minutes
Spending money (apparently no lack thereof) on some ammunition, reliable weapons and some aircraft might be of more value?
What a waste of money!!
Boring
The Army who will win the next war, is the army with the least number of women in it ...
Do you know how long it takes to 'do' the perfect "Hair Bun"??
I am female, have had long hair, haven't been in the military. Brushing your hair and winding it into a bun takes seconds. Women are good at this. Not a problem.
Probably not as long as it takes a mu5l1m to say prayers, five times a day!
Ummm ... doesn't seem to be doing the Russians too much good.
Shush mate, nobody’s interested in your macho posturing.
Well, THAT was completely boring .
British tradition, something many know nothing about, yet put their hand out forwhatever is going-and walk past eyes on their mobile phone-fortunate to be able to live in the UK.
WHAT EXACTLY WAS IT THAT U COULDN'T BELIEVE YOUR EYES?????
I love that offer but now I am sick and can't travel!!! I am so sad!
Boring. Half the vidéo is waiting for things to happen
