    Hi Jon... really nice kits... I like the fact that there is no need for a bung in the bottom and the flush turning is my favourite... take care...All the best.....Andy

      I usually use an oil finish for kitchen kits - not on the inside I leave that untreated if it is beech, hope that helps.

    These are a clever way to do the shakers. Do they seal up basically tight with just the screws?

      Yes they are tried and tested and seal well as long as fitted accurately, they certainly wouldn't leak if you use the inset method.

      They can still be glued if you wanted!
