The closest you're ever gonna get to Lindsay Lohan having a "secret twin" was Erin Mackey, for actually, in any scene with the two twins together, especially with any contact (including hugs), she was Lindsay's body double... so much that in any such clip, you can never tell which was the real Lindsay and which was Erin.
OMG, same! I remember one time in like second grade another girl telling me that Annie was “fake” and that Hallie was actually the real actress. It got me a little confused and upset thinking Annie was some robotic character in the movie or something. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Then my dad finally explained to me how it was the exact same actress playing both Annie & Hallie just at different times. Then they combined them on-screen to make it look like twins.

I know, i still think about her. She was so special, her friends said she gave the most amazing dinner parties. That's no easy task. She seemed to have loved life and was taken way too soon.

Liliann I’m a mexican too but a watch the whole movie in the original language (with cc because i don’t speak english very well) and it was a truly masterpiece, it had the best score i had ever heard, a great acting, a beautiful energy of Lindsay Lohan, anyway, now it’s my favorite movie. I didn’t like the spanish dubbed version at all.

Oh, after 20 years, this movie never gets old, ever. Somehow, I'd feel sorry if Hayley Mills never gets much recognition from the "Parent Trap '61", but soon young people out there will soon learn about it. However, just looking at these two loved ones makes me feel good and they haven't changed since then!

First of all, that's basically what's always said, from how they are interested in that one, since most, like you and I weren't born before '61 came out. Second, it's natural, since pretty much everyone relates to this movie, regarding characters, quotes, dances, songs, and certain food items. Third, I'm a fan of both of those movies, but I'm really into the classics, myself, despite that I learned that there was an original one, just after watching '98.

My sister and I had this movie memorized, we would reenact the ear-piercing scene and the poker scene. We also had the soundtrack so we would play bad to the bone lolololol and we learned the handshake and did it to the song. Gosh, this was our FAVORITE MOVIE. We would watch it during breakfast before school and when we eventually got to the end, we would rewind the tape and start it again hahaha

Same here. I remember being in my 20's and my mom would hear me lmao in my room. She'd come in to see what was so funny. She'd look at my tv, see Linday and be like "You're watching The Parent Trap again?!" After the 6th or 7th time watching it.

@@sha11235 And for your 411, she didn't die from the skiing accident, she was left brain-damaged and so her family had to make the decision whether to pull the plug or keep her alive. It was a horrible choice which is why they ensured she had as much privacy as possible.
Well, it was a skiing accident- she was on a beginner's slope and fell and bumped her head. Unfortunately, it resulted in a form of bleeding in her brain (epidural hematoma) that rarely results from this mild kind of trauma, but can happen. By the time something serious was recognized it was too late, the pressure in her brain caused it to push out into the area of her brainstem, making her essentially brain-dead. There really was no choice, very sad.

Just so nostalgic, of growing up in the 90's and wanting to go to summer camp but being so shy that I didn't, and instead had a whole neighborhood of kids to play with constantly, staying up until dark in the fields of Vermont. I literally just came to know about Natasha Richardson’s premature death which actually happened over a decade ago. I immediately had a sensation of sorrow and somehow I ended up here. Wonderful and talented actress. Tragic loss.
