I think it's because you're real and you're not a crazy minimalist with just one fork, spoon and knife. I think that's overboard. And you show your house AS IS, not clean and perfect already.
I 100% with everything you said. She lives and shows her real life and it’s appreciated. I notice I no longer watch videos of unrealistic reset, cleaning, etc. videos. First off, I work lol so their lifestyle already doesn’t work for me. Carla is the best and real. Hope it continues as her channel grows.

Two bathroom cleaning things. 1. You could get a tube of caulk above calk between your tile and your wall. Makes cleaning easier. 2) it looks like you have easy clean hinges. The make cleaning that between area easy (er). Examples on RUclips or on manufacturer’s web site.

IKEA tips. Window shop online. Make a list of locations. 2. Don't start from front of store. Start from the check out. You can skip showroom. 3. You want to walk the showroom. Best practice show up 30 minutes before the store opens. If I am right. The showroom opens 30 minutes before they open the marketplace opens. Another thing cafe is open before you can shop. It is the half way point of the store. Bingo you right there when the marketplace opens. I believe you can get free coffee. 4. Last tip there short cut through the store. You will see a sign open a door bingo you moved. 5. Almost forgot check out walk length of check outs. There super sales. Also there is returned items on cheap Remember shopping on line getting location in the store
It's January 2024 happy belated birthday. My birthday is April 7th. What is the big silver canister that you keep in your kitchen? For the past week I've been binge-watching your channel and it's really helped me motivate to get some things decluttered around my house. I've been very overwhelmed. My husband died several years ago and I've had to move twice. And I actually ended up in a large house. But I'm like where did all this stuff come from. I'm going to be 65 years old and I think I'm ready to tear down and it's hard to let go of a lot of things because that's the life that my husband and I had together.
I've been binge-watching too... she's amazing. So lovely, real and inspiring. I'm more motivated to declutter as well and I've surprised myself how much I did so far (still ways to go, but that's okay). Good luck to you, on your journey! 🦋

Cute candles on the mantle, maybe a nice linen runner on top etc. Also having to take that moment to steel your soul before braving Ikea is too real, ha!

I give the food 6.5 out of 10 but the ambiance was 10 out of 10. I had the miso Seabass but prefer the miso cod at nobu. It was decent food just not amazing but overall we really liked everything about the evening 🥰❤️ I would definitely go back ☺️

I give the food 6.5 out of 10 but the ambiance was 10 out of 10. I had the miso Seabass but prefer the miso cod at nobu. It was decent food just not amazing but overall we really liked everything about the evening 🥰❤️ I would definitely go back ☺️

Happy birthday, Carla! I really appreciate your honesty about keeping things and extending their lifespan because of your financial status at the time. It's nice to see someone who is so relatable, you didn't go into crazy debt just to "keep up" w some silly social expectation. You made the best of what you had/made your home as comfortable as possible until you were able to replace things. I'm in the same position (and thank you for the Ruggable washing review, I'm absolutely going to get one when I can).

Loved this long video and a very happy birthday. I wonder if the exercise class triggered the migraine - ah well just your system adjusting perhaps. They say breakfast (within an hour of waking) is most important for blood sugar balance so maybe intermittent fast another mealtime. Thanks for great video

I really like your apartment and sorry that you're considering moving, it's such a cute place. I do understand that having to get the washer out, hook it up, put it away, etc., is probably getting old and a dedicated area would be so appreciated. Also that you're taking into consideration of Sampson's age and health and looking at a place better suited for his needs. Hope you find a place that's just as cute with character & charm.
