I can understand this, and love the approach the ink at the end, after water colouring and l am going to try this on a cafe scene. Thank you Toby and Happy Easter.
@@TobySketchLoose I hope Father Christmas treats you well. I asked for a Lamy Safari, and I've been (kinda) good, so we'll need to wait and see what happens.
I’d like to also see a quick vid. on how to use guide lines for perspective, please. Do you use them? I know from watching your videos Toby that you use reference points within the ref. picture and transfer them to your recreation to maintain perspective.
I don't often use them, but I do actually have a couple of videos coming up about them soon-ish! They are fun to play with and useful sometimes, they can also look interesting as part of a stylistic choice!
Love this sketch Toby. The light on the walls and shadow really captures that beautiful day.
Thanks!
as always, lovely. thank you
Toby, you're a terrific teacher! I would love to see your set-up for working outside! Thank you so much for these tutorials!
I'm sketching outside with a local group tonight, I'll try and take some photos and make a post about it!
Love this Toby especially how you have left the white with the walls really makes it work well and finishes it off nicely 😊
Thank you! Cheers!
I loved the crouching man in the lower left before you used dryer..
Dryers are good for quick sketching, but not much else hehe they do flatten and ruin things sometimes/often

You made me laugh when you talked about how hot it is there! We are not all hot… We had -35F today.🌬❄⛄❄🌬
Haha, I think I filmed this a couple of months ago - it's no longer cold here, but it was -8 last week. Still quite warm compared to -35F!
Superb
Thanks 🤗
Loving your channel Toby. It’s certainly inspiring this newby retired wannabe urban sketcher. Thanks. Do you do face to face tuition?
Sometimes - not recently because of COVID and moving house and things, but hoping to find somewhere local to host a weekly art group or similar!
Hi Toby, what fountain pens do you use, and what is your best recommended of fountain pens you use and inks?
Ok... I just went to your channel, and I'm watching your video, answering my question. 😊
Brill - you can also check out urbansketch.co.uk/supplies to find everything I use regularly
Muito bom
Thank you!
Amazing
Thanks Karen!
