  • On May 2024 a violent flood hit the state of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil, with dozens of deaths and hundreds of thousands of displaced people. Even now, two months after the event, the area bears the wounds left by the fury of waters.
    However, this environmental disaster has not only affected humans. For this reason, Fondazione Capellino has decided to help dogs and cats in difficulty by donating a full truck of food for dogs and cats (about 5 tons).
    The donation was followed by the representative of the Fondazione Capellino in Brazil, Eurico Toledo, who personally accompanied the expedition to witness and verify what was done with the collaboration of the local GRAD association (gradbrasil.org....
    This video shows the work carried out by local volunteers to save the many animals involved in this tragedy and collects the testimony of Dr. Vânia Nunes, vice president of the GRAD association, who is directly managing the aid.
