A lot of equipment left in that mine. The item at 7:30 is called a slusher. They are typically pulled by a remote air-powered winch called a tugger using a looped cable setup so it can be pulled both directions. Good find!

That is the only one I've heard of in a Tunnel. There is what some say is a jet mine going off one in Yorkshire, but that's disputed. Never seen one of those gadgets to stop the cart rolling before, good idea.

Hi Antonio, I have nearly watched all of your video's now. Coal mines have so much history attached to them, the conditions the men worked in back in the day was horrendous and it took a toll on their breathing called Black Lung I believe aka Pneumoconiosis and also the mines are dangerous for explorers because of Blackdamp which is Nitrogen and Carbon Dioxide that can occur in abandoned coal mines, not fun.
Thank you for sharing, much love. xx ❤

That box looks like it says “Pit bottom ….. ” at the bottom of the tag and at the top it possibly says “Normal is ………” even that’s a guess!

I like to watch your videos here okay but do us a favor and don't do that shit again of you going into one of the mines by yourself okay cause that is dangerous as hell now too I understand that you have been there previously too but they change every few months and aren't the same as they were either

🥰 I get terrified about this too - when my husband was a child in the ‘60s, two little girls in his sphere died walking into a drift mine that had been bricked up and they broke into it. The first girl was overcome by gas, the second girl tried to reach her and was also overcome. The boys ran to get a fireman who lived nearby but the breathing apparatus he had was the wrong type and he also died trying to save the two girls. From that, I always understood that even having gas detectors isn’t enough if you don’t have secondary breathing apparatus. So it does worry me when these guys go alone 😳. I love watching you, Antonio, because you always talk safety and have good safety awareness… but we want to keep on seeing you! 🥰. Be safe … and a very happy new year 💕 xx
