    Fantastic once again mate really nice tips…another thing that works well is silence be for the drop like 1 maybe 2 bars tops…on the chords for example drop them out then bam..
    Fantastic though really nice meaningful tips too many people on RUclips saying here “create a sound like” or creat this bass sound…this is meaningful so thanks 🙏

      Thank you for this tutorial. I want to learn more on Afro house music. I checked your courses on your website I just saw a masterclass with bundles. Some of the Diva presents on the bundles I will not use since I don't have Diva. Do you have another Afro house masterclass cheaper?

      Amazing how a track can flow just by using these types of techniques…can really flip the getting bored of the loop part…and adds some variation 🎉

    Awesome video, thank you! Can you please tell me how did you do this sweep in/out in 3:10 by some magic shortcut, im apparently not aware of?

    • @lotustunesacademy
      @lotustunesacademy  Год назад +1

      Thanks for the comment! No magic trick. I selected a sample that already had a sweep in / out inside it. There was just a cut set in the middle of the sample ;)

    The problem is that your music sounds like RUclips Tutorial Music because you're overcompensating. For example, only a beginner noob will use those transition samples you're using, it stands out and makes you sound amateur. When I hear that I usually just shut the track off cause I want to learn from someone more experienced. I build transitions with deep harmonic structure. A "RUclips tutorial music" mindset makes you myopic about compositional possibilities. Imagine if we took a record like Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon and instead inserted a bunch of crappy transition samples. The record would be corny, cheesy and destroyed. Or listen to "Bella Legosi's Dead" by Bauhaus. Do you hear noob transition samples? You can't imagine composing a song like that, because you aren't thinking differently, you would have already inserted the same tired RUclips tutorial music tropes, making a song like that impossible to come into existence.
