    Hi thank you so much for the interesting tutorials.As I was watching your previous video about tapering the corners half inch I did not seeing you tapering this striped cushion .Is it because the way you designed the pattern ?

      Yes! Sometimes, not always, I will intentionally not taper because I think it will visually affect the pillow too much. This was one of those cases. But I am left with pointy corners as you can see!

      It’s interesting though because your eye won’t notice the taper on many stripe and geometric fabrics. This one has such bold stripes and just the right size stripes, that I thought it would really be noticeable. Whenever possible I do always taper.

      Welcome back to home dec sewing! Thanks for the kind words - that’s what makes it all worthwhile :) Honestly I buy seconds from my local outlet store for demonstration videos. It used to be called Loomcraft but now it’s called The Interior Alternative.
