my teams are simple:

Pulling for changli booba is 100% a smart reason. Also she enables all fusion units that do and will ever exist b/c of the fusion def pen
Went with Jinshi cuz I love it when a character gets matching hair/eyebrows/lashes, its so rare to find white hair with all of the other parts also white, I say its elegant and we don't get that many of them, most of the time they either have colored hair but still have black eyelashes and brows.
I got Jinshi very early so i got lucky. but my main goal has always been Changli.
Changli being a dps OR a sub dps is to me a safebet. It's also why Yinlin was a good pull for me at least.
Imo, subdps in this game are great because MANY characters that are main dps are quite viable already and just get better thanks to the subdps.
Like, Chixia is considered to be very mid but you can absolutely get great result with her.
I was actually trying to get a copy of Taoqi from Yinlin's banner and I ended up with both in 2 multis lol. Jinhsi is a cutie and tbh I want her too but Changli's banner has Taoqi and Mortefi so I pulling there. 28k aesterites here btw, hopefully I have enough pulls to guarantee Changli and her weapon by the time her banner drops.
I got Jinshis weapon for my Calcharo and will go for Changli. I was rly lucky on the standard weapon banner so I already have a sword for her in case I don't get the signature one.
I can only answer one of those questions… Both.
Skipping both, but trying them out their combat is really fun and satisfying. Going for just weapons isn’t a bad idea, as long as they synergize well with other units in your roster. WuWa weapon banner being guaranteed makes it an easy goal to hit.
Getting a limited weapon especially if it works well on various units is not really a bad idea for f2p players (since you can switch weapons in TOA) that wants to heavily invest on a character they like, given that majority of the 4-star options are pretty bad in this game; main stat and substat wise... The only downside is you'll get less characters than usual per patch, as long as you know which weapons to pull ur all set (I pulled Yinlin's limited weapon and I'm currently using it on encore and yinlin; next is to pull on changli's weapon for her and havoc rover)

I don't have Jiyan or Calcharo, I'm going to build E3 Sanhua with Jinhsi. Desperately needed a second team. Unless i have Jiyan or Calcharo then absolutely i would go for Changli. It really depends on what you are lacking atm imo

Since my mortefi stopped on S5 on jiyan banner, ill wait for another rate up mortefi banner to spend my pulls.
I picked Jihnsi cuz I really needed a new strong char for Tower/general gameplay.
She's pretty goated and I didn't like Changli's moveset.
So it is what it is.
Might just get Changli afterwards though and just use the Emerald of Genesis.

I got her so i have a main holy dps and my rover can play dark type instead.
Getting a main dps of every element is a must in this game as some floors in future will have specific element resistant monsters.
Hopefully they add some female 5 star frost dps in future tho.
i already have calcharo and jiyan as main dps boradblade, i don't need jinhsi.

With the weapon banner being 100% it makes sense to grab the weapon. Within 270 pulls you can guarantee a banner character and their weapon. Genshin you need at least 450 to guarantee the same. This is my plan for dps and sub dps. we'll see about supports lol

I have Jiyan with his weapon (got him Ang Calcharo at the 6th multi), Yinlin (got her at 37 pity), Calcharo is with Lustrous Razor. I also have Verina and S4 Mortefi. So my Jiyan team is complete, my Calcharo team needs a 3rd member, Wich of the remaining 4 stars is best for him (I have all the 4 stars). Does Havoc MC work in a Calcharo Yinlin team? Also, I didn't get Yinlin's weapon, what are her other options?
Currently going for the standard 5 star pistol for Mortefi, I got the 5 star Standard sword from the free level 45 selector (currently on Rover).
I'm a husbando enjoyer/collector, as much as I like Jinhsi's and Changli's animations and kits, I'm skipping them for the next Husbandos (Esp. Geshu Lin).

I am on 40 pity right now (got Jinshi and her weapon -- still got 7 pulls left) as free to play and i already got qiqied this patch, so chance of this happening again is kinda small.
I did most of island today and still got currency in abyss thing left to collect. Now the question is if i can get 40 pulls till end of patch. There is still reward for daily loging left, a quest that i cant finish (probaly timed lock) and upcoming events.
Oh also something interesting. In genshin when you got a dupe c6 of a character (c7), you got just enogh curreny back for single pull. However in wuwa my lvl 1 Danjin hit a c7 and you would think you get enogh for a single pull, but that is not the case. You miss on 1 single coral, so you cant buy a next single pull.

I overheard via leaks that for 1.2 we are getting Camellya and Scar. Now, I don’t have any confirmation that this is true but Camellya is my wife and Scar is someone I decided I will main from the moment I first saw him. Not that I dislike Jinhsi or Changli but if there is even the slightest chance that the leaks are true I need to be ready.
1.2 beta leak is xiangli (male gunner: likely sniper) and zhezhi(unknown char)

Just kidding, but only kind of. We all know Xiangling is just a main dps.
I do think one issue with skipping Jinhsi, besides her being basically an Archon. Is that right now, she doesn't even have the optimal teammates, while Jiyan does (Mortefi). So if in the future we get some coordinated attacker that buffs skill damage, Jinhsi's value is going to skyrocket.

lost 50/50 on yinlins banner, did about 150~ pulls in total to get her. With my luck, 20 pulls and a dream might not be enough, I'll just wait for a rerun to try and pull changli. RIP

I like both characters but what kinda bother me is jinshi's element type which I don't like. I don't kinda play spectro characters which are big no for me. If jinshi has any other element rather than spectro, must pull for me. I know Changli would not be broken dps like jinshi is but I don't care cuz she has fire element and the Phoenix sound effects damn. Her kit is awesome. I always love burning characters except loli lmao 😅.

well apparently, Jinshi power crept every DPS in game rn, she can manage to nuke holograms like crazy
I think Jinhshi is the better choice because of her strength and power and she's a freaking nuke most players seem to want Changli just because she's big boobed which in my opinion is just stupid i mean it's your choice who you pick but for me Jinhshi has grace elegance and she's very powerful she isn't ugly she pretty and she has a freaking dragon as a nuke what more could you ask for but players want to turn her down because her freaking boobs are smaller if her boobs were huge you wouldn't even give Changli a second thought
sometimes the gacha tells you who you need... i made a 10 pull on jinhsi, got a 5 star, lost 50/50, got encore... i was like, hmm the gacha is obviously telling me something. good thing that 50/50 lost happened on the first day of Jinhsi banner. now all I have to do is save for my guaranteed mommy and for her weapon and pray to get her early. sometimes it's fate. gacha gods knew I lack calcium and needs more milk

Y'all coping with Changli having longevity while she's not really flexible if you really think about it. That outro buff will only truly shine when we get a strong burst fusion DPS, and she's not like Yinlin who can damage off-field. Kuro really knows what they're doing with these new characters, they want us to feel FOMO if we only pick one over another.
