that riff & melody @ 6:29 with ryan just shredding hits so unbelievably hard
the formulaic part of polaris is the structure but the skill sets they have on riffs and drums are what really sets them apart with an identity unlike any other band that follows formulaic song structure. for example amity has that feel of all the songs blending together where as polaris doesnt

Coming from an American, I gotta say that most of my favorite metalcore bands lately have been Australian. Must be something in the water over there! 😂
Very wholesome point about how overwhelmingly supportive the whole metalcore community has been about Ryan, Polaris have done an absolutely stellar job in honouring his work
It's almost nostalgic seeing him shred it on the guitar. I think the community and Polaris have a done a great job leaving a big legacy for him and his family and I think they are honoring a friend in the best way. Peace and love everyone
These two new singles have been their best work to date. They continue to evolve and mature in so many good ways. Always will be my favorite band in the scene. This album will be a great legacy to Ryan❤

Dan's drumming was the first thing I recognized about this band, he's so unique and special and really the heart of this band.

Watching Ryan here is beautiful and obviously hard: he was a fucking talented musician but also a wonderful person - I remember him after the show in Paris, talking gently and passioned to a couple of fans.
I guess they are devasted and working feel terrebly hard but here they are, with a banger, fresh, cool, terrific, with an insanely great song.

They played this last night at Sydney. They Gave Ryan a very touching tribute halfway through the show and dedicated a song too him. Was a perfect way to finish there fatalism Australian tour
From a purely musical point, 7:14 riff gives me huge erra vibes.
Hearing about Ryans passing was gutting. I cant even begin to imagine the grief, trauma and hardhsip they're going through.
That said, I commend the boys on going forward with their obligations even though they dont have to. This new album will take on a new life for me
So sad that Ryan isnt here to vibe with this new video/album cycle. I know the chances of Polaris in Argentina are minimum BUT I wish the best for the band, they all look like really cool people and I truly wish the best for the remaining 4 and hope they take their time to heal through this time, cant wait for this album.

This was an absolute banger track, and Ryans lead is just the cherry on top for this song. Breakdown is very Consume-like but the lead reminds me of Creatures of Habit. Ryan and the rest of the guys did great on this track. Going to miss Ryan alot. Also im diggin the Malevolence hoodie!
