I'm a succulent breeder and I tried my hands on Rex begonia a few times now and always failed. I guess it's cause I'm used to watering so little, like every 4-6 weeks. That's probably what killed the begonia every time. I have up by this point.
The frequency to water them depends mostly on the climate they are kept in and the soil used. I would say 4-6 weeks is a long time. Try watering when the top 25% of the soil is dry with a mix that drains well. Good luck.

What about other kinds? I just got one for mother's day 😊❤ and I want to keep it alive. It has bright flowers. Any tips? Thank you 😊
I have the same rex begonia but what actually is the name of this begonia?
