- After more than seven months of Israel's devastating war on Gaza, which has killed at least 35 thousand 562 Palestinians.
The chief prosecutor of the world's top criminal court, has sought arrest warrants for Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Defence Minister Yoav Gallant.
They are accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Netanyahu says it's a complete distortion of reality.
The ICC prosecutor also wants arrest warrants for three Hamas leaders for the October 7 attack in southern Israel - a move that's been denounced by Hamas.
Prime Minister Benjanmin Netanyahu's government has banned Al Jazeera from reporting in Israel, that's why Imran Khan is reporting the latest from the Jordanian capital, Amman.
Former ICC official Eric Witte says that the decision does not imply that the actions of each side’s leaders are equal but that they will be “equally scrutinised under the law”.

Why would they? Neither the US or Israel recognizes the ICC.
It's been 7 months of documented and viewed by millions worth of horrific acts by the IDF. They specifically said that those accusations did not refer to October 7th, but rather to the treatment of some of the hostages. The debunked article you refer to was the report by NYT about such crimes being commited on October 7th. Whether some of the hostages experience sexual violence is completely different story. But Karim Khan went to Israel to investigate the issue and spoke to the hostages, so if he is making such accusations I assume he has evidence to back it up.
