Well done thank you. I just bought a 2005 Santa Fe with fuel tank leak. It’s too bad the previous original owner didn’t have the tank done when it was under the 15 year or 150k warranty. Not an easy job for a big guy like us 😢
Doing my tank now watching your video to make sure I do it right. Thanks a bunch. I see you had to take the rear I guess cross bar off the rear drive shaft to drop it down? It’s too bad you had to cut the exhaust. Mine I could just unbolt after the caty and take the whole thing out.
Nice work. You can tell this isn't your first rodeo at doing these jobs. Time consuming, labor intensive too. Good job! New subscriber
Thank you so much. A million thanks.
Tip: Remove driveshaft mount bolts from the body. The bolts he removed are mainly shot
Thank you again and so much
Tip: Once you remove seat, dont pull carpet from back. The factory pre cut access squares in the carpet. This guy is creating extra work for himself
Thank you so much
Thank you for taking the time to film this. It was helpful.
You're most welcome, and thank you also.
Tip: you dont have to remove the plastic under the back seat

So sorry to hear that. It’s really easy, but it’s doable.

Thank you a bunch. We’re here for you if you need anything. Ah yes, the muffler was painted into one piece
@@fixchanics9969 thanks. Hey how do you remove the black plastic tube that’s in the filler neck of the old gas tank ? Thanks
@@dalebechtel8904 I used a channel lock and twisted it left to right to take it off
@@fixchanics9969 the black plastic tube that goes in the filler neck of gas tank? It has a spring on the inside right?
@@dalebechtel8904 yes indeed
22:47 yeah, me too. Fuck em ahah
@@skinnyjeens101 lol
Did you have to mark anything or do anything special before u removed the driveshaft from the rear end or was it just take off and put on?
Just take off and put it back on
@fixchanics9969 thanks for the response. I'm guessing the tank rusted out after the 15 yr warranty yea?
Why not use an impact for the screws imjs
I normally do, this time around, the battery was being charged. Thank you so much though.
Where can I get aftermarket seals gaskets and hoses for this job?
You can get them at the local auto parts store, ebay and rockauto
I would have been swearing and throwing tools by now 😂
Lol
